Hey everyone Im new to the board. I just started watching HOTC on NICK@NITE and am really sad that they are taking it off the air. I personally think that Simone and Eric made the best couple. This is because he was like this to cool for school kid and she was this shy girl who thought everything was romantic. The were definitley the best couple on the show. Who does everybody else think was the best couple? :) :wave:

Welcome. I haven't seen the show for a while. It comes on too late. but I always thought that Alan and Darlene would have made an interesting couple.:wave:

Eric and Simone, in my opinion, were clearly the best couple.

I know this wasn't the question, but I think the show could have at least explored a couple of other pairings:

-An Alan/Darlene pairing (although there was that one ep. where Darlene pretended to like him because he wasn't doing well at the debates because Martha dumped him) would have been interesting. Those two bounced very well off one another.

-Also, an Alan/Maria pairing would have been interesting to see.

Alan and Darlene did go to the prom together in the 5th season.

I've just been thinking about it and I loved Dennis and Arvid together (as friends!!) But they always acted like some old married couple-They would be best friends then Dennis would do something stupid then Arvid would get angry and stop talking to him for awhile but they always made up in the end. I thought that was so cool and sweet because that's how best friends/married couples act!
