Just a little "please" from me...

There are SO MANY posts coming on. Please try to scroll through the posts to make sure the subject hasn't already been posted. When there are 3, 4, and 5 different posts on the same subject, it's hard to comment on all. Plus, if there is information that appeals to many of us fans, then try to put it where it will be most easily located.

Not a complaint, because I still really enjoy the site... Just a suggestion.

Jim

I agree, jayman. Maybe I can suggest to a few posters that maybe they could consolidate a few ideas into one new topic. I'm not saying there should be a set limit for the number of new topics each poster can set each day but it has been a little confusing with all the redundant topics http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/confused.gif

Tootie: Muffy? Her name is Muffy? What kind of person is named Muffy?

Jo: Beats me, Tootie.

Amen Michelle --

I wonder how many topics people are missing because there are so many topics already out there.

Another suggestion is to also look through older posts. We must have a "Name Your Favorite Character" topic started everyday. If you're looking to stimulate conversation, maybe posting to one of the older topics so it gets bumped back to the top would help a bit.

Let's see:

1- "Who is your favorite character?"
2- "What's your favorite episode?"
3- "I just love *insert name*!!!"
4- "Does anyone know...??"
5- "I can't believe that they...!!"
6- "I JUST LOVE TFOL!!!"
7- "*character 1* vs. *character 2* -- who
is better???"
8- "Who is your least favorite character?"
9- "Does anyone have episode ###?"
10- "I LOVE TFOL MORE THAN..."

That seems to sum up many of the topics!!

While we're on the subject, if people could also delete or at least shorten their "signature line" (some have such long quotes, etc. that I personally don't even read), it would make the posts much easier to read.

I have an idea. How about making one MYOS topic on this FOL board so it's easier and doesn't take up as much room. There's always a bunch on Sunday--with people advertising them, vote for the facts and we won or we lost. It moves a lot of topics down far and they get lost in the shuffle. If there was one MYOS thread, it'd be a lot easier, in my opinion. Just a thought.

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, it does get old reading a script from an episode as the signature line. TJ, our page coordinator, asked that it be done, but I doubt everyone has seen it, because SO MANY PEOPLE are still doing it. Perhaps this board needs to have a few more divisions in it. Or, perhaps there should be a memo at the top of the message boards giving some suggestions of what to do and what not to do. Who knows... it's just getting old.

Hi jayman,

I was offering a suggestion about Make Your Own Sunday--nothing about signatures. I just think the Make your Own Sunday(MYOS) posts should be condensed into one.

Just wanted to let you know. Thanks,
Madness

Yes, I agree. I also posted a post about that on the message board. Perhaps some people will read it and start paying attention to it.

Come on people... it's getting so hard to get through all these topics. I come by a couple times a day, and in an 8 hour period, there are well over 20 new posts, plus comments on old ones and such. Please make sure your comment is important, and that no one else has already started a post about it.

THANKS!!!
