Yeah, I'd probably do a lot better than I did before when I had my site. I wasn't that advanced in graphics just yet when I made those.

This was an experiment, but here you go. it's 800x600. That's your resolution, isn't it?

Nope, as long as no one edits my artwork. Back when I still had my Mary site, people would steal my wallpapers, edit them and pass them off as their own. I hate when people do that. :rolleyes:

Yep, plus the last collage I posted (the one with 'LIAA' on it) I'm using for a layout on my MTM Show fanlisting (http://collective.beautiful-addiction.net/mtmshow), which is why I included 'LIAA' on the image.

Hahaha..yes, they ARE that good. And nope no editing for me....why and how could someone edit your work? It's already better then perfect!:D SO much better then the ugly pieces of junk I try to pass off as fanart...:rolleyes: :)

:lol: Okay, if you say so. Well, it really wasn't as good as it is now, but still it ticks me off when people edit something it took you a long time to make. Usually, now it takes 3-4 hours to make a collage, more if neccessary.
An example of this can be found at here (http://www.reelclassics.com/Downloads/wallpaper4.htm). They stole all of the ones I did with Mary and edited them horribly making the pics look all distorted and giving them choppy edges. They also took out my website url, 'http://www.marytylermoorefan.com' and adding something else. They made them look even worse. :rolleyes:

Oh yeah, and btw, Kristen remember you said you had one from 'reelclassics' with 'who can turn the world on with her smile.' Well, that was also one of mine, but yet again edited horribly and they added that phrase and changed the colors. I remember making that wallpaper with all three of those pics too. I have all of them on disc somewhere still. It's really sad that people do that.

Oohh Holly thats so awful that someone would do that, I mean after you put so much time into making them yourself, and I mean they're so beautiful! I hate people like that who just take stuff. :mad:

Heres a question? Where/When/How did you learn to collage like that? I can't collage for beans, and I've always admired a good collage...never seen any like yours before though! :)

Yep, but what can you do? It just proves their so stupid that they can't make their own wallpaper without me making one first. :rolleyes: I just think it's sad and pathetic. :lol:

Well, I don't like to give out my secrets, but I make my stuff in Adobe Photoshop. I've always been working with graphics and web design ever since I could remember, but recently maybe a year or two ago I started collaging. How is hard to say I just do it. It's hard for me to explain it's one of those things you know how to do, but can't explain how you do it. It usually takes me 3-4 hours for one collage, more time if needed. Techniques differ from person to person and some of the techniques used are just dumb luck. Usually, I go ahead and try to make collages without thinking them through first and thats where I make my big mistake. I should have the idea already in my head, but I usually don't. That's one of the things I have to work on I'm sure if I do the end result of the collage would be much more appealing.

I have Adobe too, and I can work it but I don't have much skill with it....like YOU! Have you ever taken any web design classes or did you just download it and realize you had a gift? I think if I put more time into it I could make some good/okay stuff...unfortunatly I haven't the patience to spend 4 hours! :eek: although I'm so inspired by your collages that I think I could at least try. "Practice makes perfect" or at least helps you out! :crazy:

Nope, never taken a class. I've been doing graphics/web design ever since I was little. As sad as this sounds it's my life it's usually all I ever do. I've seen stuff way better than my collages so I don't think mine are that good. Guess what? I don't have the patience for it either. :lol: I just have nothing else to do.

I know that Pandora_Spocks left the site (according to old posts), but I just wanted to say that those wallpapers were beautiful! Even if they didn't think the work was that good, I certainly think so.

Speaking of which... Does anyone happen to remember what the Love Is All Around art looked like? Because it's a broken link now. :( (not really a surprise, I mean it is almost seven years old! haha
