I believe Fat Albert was featured in 1972 :) And to answer the original poster's question, if you are to ever read or hear that NBC is airing any type of old animated special, I wouldn't take it seriously. NBC hasn't aired any real kid-friendly holiday specials in quite some time. Heck, they don't even air Saturday morning cartoons anymore. I have the "Fat Albert Christmas Special" on tape. I used to watch the old Fat Albert series from the 70's since I was a kid.
