I don't know if it will air at all. They have shown some Fat Albert stuff on VH1's "I Love the 70's" -- I think 1973 or 1974.

I believe Fat Albert was featured in 1972 :)

And to answer the original poster's question, if you are to ever read or hear that NBC is airing any type of old animated special, I wouldn't take it seriously. NBC hasn't aired any real kid-friendly holiday specials in quite some time. Heck, they don't even air Saturday morning cartoons anymore. I do believe that the Fat Albert specials (as well as Garfield) should hair someplace on network or at least cable TV.

I've never seen the Halloween Fat Albert special since I was a kid. I have the "Fat Albert Christmas Special" on tape. I used to watch the old Fat Albert series from the 70's since I was a kid. The staff from In-Flight, Virginia Legg is a Bill Cosby freak!

I'm not 100% sure but I think the Halloween and Christmas specials are available on DVD through TimeLife.

I'm 100% sure just cause I ordered my dvd at TimeLife's website. It's both the Halloween and Christmas episodes on one disc.
