Okay, seeing that I got a good response from the previous poll, I've decided to expand the list of Rush albums, since their music has been so diverse while remaining consistent.

It's neck & neck w/ "Kings" & "Hemispheres" for me. Those 2 albums just go together well because of the 'Cygnus X-1' storyline. "Caress of Steel" comes in a close 2nd. That is one tough Rush album to like. You're a true Rush fan if you come outta *that* one liking it.


All the teeny pop listeners should go get a Rush album & hear what actual lyric writing & musicianship sounds like...*gasp!*..subject matter *not* dealing with- 'the shoes on your feet'/ being ready for this jelly/ baby I want you back/ girl, I wanna get wit' you/ bling bling/ sex





...One likes to believe in the freedom of music. But glittering prizes & endless compromises, shatter the illusion of integrity.

All this machinery making modern music can still be open hearted. Not so coldly charted, it's really just a question of your honesty.
