View Full Version : Gasp! Am I weird?
Janice Johnson 08-23-2003, 05:54 PM I was reading a book, Home for Christmas, and I ended up fantasising about my crush and I making out when they got to the romantic parts. Two main characters where kissing in the car and I imagined my crush and I doing that. His hands were touching her hair and I fantised about that. The character gazed longingly at her, and I...you know what. That had really never happend to me before. I was surprised! P.s. It is a Sweet Valley University book.
¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-23-2003, 06:09 PM Yah, thats pretty normal. Everyone daydreams.
Tuesday Weld 08-23-2003, 07:26 PM There's nothing weird about that. ;)

I know that feeling your going through . . . I been through it a thousand and one times. Imagination can be fun but reality can be very discouraging and sading.
Unwanted Angel 08-24-2003, 04:18 PM Nah, you're not. I do that too. I read alot of romance novels and i always pretend its me and Joyce in them, rather then the real characters. It can be fun, and it can cause some very sexy dreams for me. :D

Janice Johnson 08-27-2003, 11:39 AM Well then, my horoscope says that my crush and I weren't meant to be. He's a Gemini and I'm a Pisces. It says that this is a horrible match. It says that he will run away from me when I demand more attention. It says that he is less emotional than I am and I will be heartbroken when he shows me a cold side. But, it shouldn't mmatter what day he was born, right?

Janice Johnson 08-31-2003, 04:23 PM I recently spoke to my crush and asked him if he thought there was anything between us and guess what he said? "You can't get a boyfriend?" Isn't that fresh?
Janice Johnson 09-05-2003, 03:44 PM Sometimes I get good feelings about for my crush, and sometimes I get bad feelings. I mean, once in a while I will go to my crush's job, because I get the feelings that it will be good to go. And sometimes I get a "That's a bad idea to go" feeling. Same for calling him. Sometimes I get bad feelings about calling him also. but mostly good. I have visited him twice.

Janice Johnson 09-10-2003, 10:21 AM That's right. I am about to "dump" Ryan. I have had a crush on him for too long. I have my eye on someone new, Eric. Eric is so sweet and cute. Anyway, I was already to dump Ryan before Eric came along. Ryan has a girlfriend and was engaged to her and she broke it off. They are still boyfriend and girlfriend though. I don't need someone who already has a girl. I am going to tell him that I know there is nothing between us two. Anyway, back to Eric. Eric is not the kind of guy I usually find myself crushing on. He looks kind of geeky with big glasses and broad shoulders. Isn't that a contradiction? He is built, but kind of looks like a geek. A cute geek though. ;) :p :) . We spent some time talking and he is so adorable!

Janice Johnson 09-15-2003, 11:57 AM I have had a an off/on crush on Ryan since March 6, 2000. It is like a sitcom when I really think of it.
Season 1. (2000) Very great. Janice and Ryan have great potential to become boyfriend and girlfriend. Ryan is funny and cute. They speak to each other a lot on the phone and in person. Janice is so smitten with him, that she tells him she likes him. They talk about the possibility of becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. Ryan playfully says that he loves her? Unknown. Season Shocker! In April, Ryan drops out of school, leaving Janice waiting for him to come back, but she still talks to him on the phone. She realizes that he isn't coming back. Then his phone is disconnected and she can't talk to him anymore. But, an insider source tells her that Ryan is coming back. In August, Ryan comes back! Janice is still smitten over him, and their friends warmly welcome him back. Ryan only stays there for a week, then drops out again, but leaves her a cellphone number. He only answers iheronce, and Janice is heartbroken when he doesn't answer her calls. Finally, she doesn't call his number anymore/ it was also disconnected.
Season 2. (2001) Janice goes around pining for Ryan, thinking about fantasies of him. Janice finds another guy, but that relationship/crush doesn't work out. She is still waiting for Ryan to come back. But wait! Another insider source saw that Ryan was working at IHOP. Jancie is thrilled then she hears that Ryan has told the insider source nothing about her. More fantasies.
Season Three. (2002) Janice finally thinks carefully about what the insider source said about Ryan. She goes into the telephone book and looks for the one closest to Ryan's old house and calls there! Season Shocker! Ryan works there and he answers the phone. They talk like old times, but... Season Shocker! Ryan already has a girlfriend! But, Janice still continues to talk to him on the phone. She has to sneak around her family's backs. Later, he takes a vacation and they don't speak for months. But, towards the end of the year, she calls him again. But this time, she has a weird feeling in her. She doesn't feel as enthusiastic about talking to him. But, she calls him constantly and they talk, but later, the other employees answer and warn her not to call him again. (One employee even threatens to kick her a*#.) Janice takes a break from calling him.
Season 4. (2003). Janice goes to IHOP to see Ryan! Ryan looks happy to see her. And they talk about their lives. Janice finds out that Ryan's girlfriend works with him! And her sister!(Ryan's girlfriend's sister) Gasp!! , but Janice doesn't get to see the girlfriend. She notices during her talk that they really didn't talk about anything romantic between them. And they talk about colleges and old friends. Ryan tells her to call him.She has noticed that Ryan is not so funny anymore, and doesn't lookm as cute as she remembered. They exchange emails and Janice leaves before the girlfriend can come in. Later, they talk on the phone again, and soon, she visits Ryan again, but this time they have a little more privacy. They are outside while Ryan does inventory. Ryan has perfect chances to kiss Janice, but he doesn't and Janice kind of understands. She doesn't want someone kissng her that has a girlfriend, because she could be that girlfriend being cheated on. They talk more and Janice gives him packets from her college and writes information on them. They talk more, then Ryan has to cut it short. They hug and Janice leaves.
She calls him a lot, at school and secretly at home. She does it when no one is home with her or they are sleeping or preoccupied. She keeps asking if they have something between them and Ryan stammers.
Just recently, BIG SEASON SHOCKER!! Ryan starts being fresh to Janice. She asks if there is something between them, and he says "Can't get a boyfriend?" Janice is shocked that he would think of her as desperate! She is angry. They talk more, then they say good-bye. Janice doesn't call him for a few days. Janice is seriously considering "breaking up" with him because she feels there is nothing ther. Janice calls him from school to talk to ask him to meet her that week so that she could talk to him about giving up her crush on him. The day he says he's coming, she looks for him but doesn't see him. Just VERY recently, Janice calls him at his job. He hangs up on her after saying "What's up after she said hi. She calls back, and they said "Ryan was the one who just hung up on you." She calls agin, and they said call back in ten or fifteen minutes because he is busy. She calls after about 12 minutes, and they say "Ryan come talk to this damn girl." Then say, seconds later, "He said he doesn't want to talk to you." Janice says thanks and doesn't call back anymore. Now, Janice is sure that she doesn't want to have a crush on him. She decided not to call him anymore. She is relieved, because she was just thinking about visiting Ryan at IHOP. Something kept telling her not to go there, and she listens.
I'll come with an analysis of this "sitcom". Can anyone help me with an analysis.?

Now, now, Chris and Sarah. Don't accuse someone of reminding you of Sitcomwriter. Then, they'll have no chance here. Ever, because people will stone them. *nods* I've seen it done before. :D
Janice Johnson 09-16-2003, 01:29 PM This is where Janice's crush jumped the shark (most not included in "sitcom".
When she was still crushing on Ryan even though he left her TWICE.
When she went to IHOP to see him the second time. Isn't once enough?
When he gave her a false number and she got the real number from the girlfriend.
When she still wanted him after finding out that he'd been engaged to his girlfriend and was still her boyfriend
When she realized that she's called him in three years more than she's called her mother in her whole life.
When Ryan gave her his and his girlfriend's cellular phone.
When Ryan answered her countless number of emails only once and the original cellphone calls once.
When he moved out of the house after she got the real number.
When he didn't tell her his new house number.
When people at IHOP started to resent her calling Ryan.
When she was still crushing on Ryan after all that time.
When it took her THREE years to completely get over him.
When he punched her in the arm for bumping into him. (High School)
When he called her fat. (High School)
When he tried to get her to hook him up with another girl even though he knew she liked him.(High School)
When he hung up on her.
When he started PUSHING her literally to this boy that she didn't like. (High School)
When he dropped out of high school.(High School)
When he slapped her hand. (High School)
When he stopped being funny.
When he critizied her for the books she read.(Romance).
When he would be demanding and controlling and pull her bookbag that was on her back so that she would almost fall down when he wanted to get her attention. (High School)
When she simply HAD to keep calling him at her job constantly.
When she called his job without even knowing if they allowed workers personal calls.
Still calling after being told specifically not to.
when he dropped out the second time out of high school.(High School).
*Marilyn Monroe* 09-16-2003, 04:30 PM I take it back. Feel free to make your accusations.

Janice Johnson 09-17-2003, 12:47 PM I was just talking about my past crush, Ryan. I put my crush like a sitcom, then I put it as Jump The Shark, times I now know it should have been over. I was just trying to get some support. I was in the crush for three years! Now, I found a place to lament about it. (And make humour out of it.) That was a pretty darn long crush, even if if it wasn't continous.
