i LOVE starting debates in school.
it takes up so much time, and there's a LOT less work.

Especially when it comes to movies or tv, i never loose.

I'm very good at debates! We had this one social studies teacher in 7th grade who would get so off-topic like every class! It was great! We would have these like mini debates and I loved them!Ahhh those were the days. (lol "all in the family" flash)

my english teacher had a cosby shrine up in the classroom. I hated that damn thing.:mad: :lol:

I teach seventh grade, and it is a lot of fun. Yeah, I always try to sneak some Cheers line into my lesson plans. LOL

I go back on September 4th. :o Going to the big high school in the sky :lol: I DON'T WANNA GO BACK! My mom will have to pull me by the hair to get me to set foot in that hell house. I mean I like school, I get good grades and all it's just I HATE SCHOOL. If anyone gets what I am saying.

I get horrible grades and hate school. But I go anyways. Ditching school is just too much effort.

REALLY HELPS THE REPORT CARD.

But overall, Im pretty smart.

Last year I had a 93 average.

But we had the STUPIDEST math regents last year.

Scientists, Professors and Doctors got ON AVERAGE 2 out of every 7 questions right.

I failed it in January, then took another one in June and got a 77. Thank God!

Well, I start a week from Friday. And to make it worse, that's the last weekend with Cheers on N@N.

im an okay student my l.a. teacher hated me last year for absolutely no reason she sux im happy i dont have her anymore...

I always get on the honor roll, but almost missed once last year cause of math. I ended up with 53% so, whatever. I hate math.:mad:

I almost had a 100 average in Math last year, but the regents screwed me over.

In 6th grade, I ALMOST had a 100 average completely, but the damn art teacher gave me a 94.

See, I didn't do my homework so I didn't understand what to do. I failed more tests/quizzes than I passed.:cool:

My average in Geometry last year was a 42% and 4th quarter I got a 12%. I am a ****in moron.:lol:

WEll this year in school is gonna suck! Suck suck suck!!! :(:(:( I"m in all the advanced calsses so over the summer we had to do assignments for all of them :( I had to read Great Expectations and The House on Mango Street for English and do 500 word papers on both of those, then for social studies i had to read the canterbury tales, romeo and juliet and the aenied! plus do summaries of the plot and my impressions of hte book for all 3 for ss! damn i'm tired! man i haven't even started school and already i hate it! hey does anyone know anything about the aeneid by any chance?

No, but I have read Great Expectations, The House on Mango Street, and Romeo and Juliet- all in my Freshman year. I hated Great Expectations, everyone does. In fact, I hated every Dickens book I ever read. Mango Street was good, but it also made me sad to read it. Romeo and Juliet- loved, loved, loved it! I use lines from it constantly lol. Great, fantastic, awesome play!

I survived my first day of school.....Man, My AP American History is a killer.....i'm dead....lol 12 pages worth of hw for just that class, and it's only the first day....it's ok Maria breathe....yes breathe....

haha we have id cards we have to where around our necks. none of the teachers really cared if you wore them or not except for my homeroom teacher last year she used to give out detentions if you didn't wear ur id card :rolleyes:

our school decided not to give out ID cards anymore, which is a big problem for me. When I go to the movies, sometimes they ask for an ID so you can get the student prices, you know? Well, now that I don't have an ID card, I get charged as an adult. :mad:

yea the movie theater used to do that with us but now the only give us a discount on friday nights

No mall after 4:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

they have a law similar to that where i live but i think its after 6 or something and only on fridays im not completely sure
