Has anybody noticed that is the early black and white episodes of Bewitched when Darren's parents lived close they lived in Hazel's house because they had the same kitchen that is in the Baxters house.

Not only was it Darin and Samantha's "early Kitchen" and Hazel's kitchen, it was also the same kitchen used on "Gidget."
Screen Gems certainly didn't waste any money.....they re-used everything on their shows!

....Screen Gems-Columbia was a CHEAP outfit. If they could get away with "redressing" most of their sitcom sets and recycling them on their other shows (mostly in one-time instances) and hope TV audiences weren't the wiser, they could! Remember a scene from the last season of "HAZEL", where she inadvertently dabbles in real estate? The interior of the "empty" living room shown, is the same living room that Jeannie and Tony Nelson were
concurrently occupying in "I DREAM OF JEANNIE"! And I'm pretty sure that 'Major and Nancy Jamison's' dining room in the "JEANNIE" episode "What Ever Became Of Baby Custer?" [11/27/65] is the Baxter's dining room, slightly "redressed" as well!! Keep your eyes peeled, and you might see some other sets from "DENNIS THE MENACE", "THE DONNA REED SHOW" and "THE FARMER'S DAUGHTER" turn up on occasion............

I'll have to watch for it when I buy the first season of Hazel.

Also, there is an episode of the Addams Family where a young couple moves in next door; their house was the same one occupied by Wilbur and Carol Post on Mr. Ed.

"MISTER ED" and "THE ADDAMS FAMILY" were both filmed at the same production facilities Filmways used at that time, 'caladon'. Look at "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" or "PETTICOAT JUNCTION" and see if they used each other's sets from time to time......

That's true. A few years back, Alan Young and Connie Hines were at a local bookstore signing copies of his book. I mentioned how "The Addams Family" had used their set for one of their epsidoes. He told me that he never knew that, but that it didn't surprise him because "Filmways" was in the strictness terms a "No frills" studio. Everything they could do to save money, they did it.
