Okay folks, since everybody and their brother is running for Governor in the state of California, I thought maybe we here at Sitcoms Online should begin nominating folks to run as well.

Feel free to nominate any member, moderator, guest, gypsy tramp or thief who frequents the boards, giving reasons why he or she should be nominated, and in a year or two, I'll print up a hard to decipher punch card ballot so we can vote in a totally botched election, just like the grown ups do!

Tonight I wish to nominate a woman of style, grace and wisdom, who is here day after day posting and making sure things get done.
A fighter, a healer, a visionary, a picker, a grinner, a lover and a sinner who will work for the little people. The tiniest of little people. Itty bitty people. Friggin microscopic people.

She'll fight for your right to good schools, clean air, and hopefully something decent to watch on Tv this Fall, although I really doubt it. Have you seen some of the crap that's on the schedule! Yeesh! Whoopi Goldberg?

Not so. SO was first launched in February of 2000 (See TJ's registration date). According to Babes_Cat's profile, she joined on October 10, 2001, one year and eight months after SO launched. ;)

I'll commission an investigation into whatever the hell happened to Jimbo, Mossopp, Bootsy Whoosh and other MIA members. I believe we, as citizens, have a right to know.
I will order a panel of scientists to determine exactly what the deal was with Rainman and his K-Mart obsession and why Brett lost an oar midstream.
When that's completed, I want a study conducted to solve the mystery of why a good looking, funny guy like TJL is still single in this day of jerks and commitmentphobics....and then on to figure out EXACTLY what kind of movie dlemond really likes because God knows I can't figure it out.
Then on to unravel the phenomenon that affects Solomon called, Good Times Spin-off Denial aka Solomon refuses to accept the fact that Good Times IS a spin-off of Maude.
I think the team that studies those crop circles, the Bermuda triangle or Bigfoot would be good for figuring these things out....or maybe the Warren Commission. I'll decide if I am elected to office.
My biggest challenge will be to bring peace to two of our beloved board members and Californians--Kitt and Fleet. I realize I could probably achieve peace in the Mideast before uniting these two debaters, but I'll give it my all.
I'll fight for longer siggys, bigger avatars and cooler smilies :cool: and the right to curse our :censored: brains out if we want.

That's a right fine agenda Janice. You're a regular politcian already. You've made promises to get some long standing mysteries and problems looked into if not dealt with. You've promised to try and bring peace and love to us by getting the Beatles on board. You've addressed the importance of the arts by appointing AKA and Captain to officially take the reigns in that department.
Oh, and what would a campaingn speech be without promising to take a whack at doing the impossible. You might as well concentrate your energies on the Middle East because you'll make no headway with Fleet and me, that's for sure. ;)

After all is said and done, I think we can then make Sitcoms Online: The Motion Picture.

It will be an independent sci-fi comedy action drama with elements of horror and romance with a kicking soundtrack featuring The Beatles, Anthrax, and Chumbawamba. Profoundly honest but completely misleading, silly yet deadly serious, touching but offensive, a forgettable but all-together life changing experience.

I'm starting the casting as we speak.
Then I'll work on the script.
