View Full Version : Who would you have loved to see live?
Brian 08-21-2003, 08:13 PM Ever wish you could go back in time to see those great rock and roll groups and artists that are no longer around?
Queen (It's sad that Freddie Mercury is gone. He was a great singer.)
The Beatles (all of them together)
Janis Joplin
Elvis Presley
I'll try to think of more later.
Kitt, Marlene, Captain, and all you other adults were lucky to be around during the 1950s (except Captain), 60s, and 70s. I wish I would have grown up back then. :(
dlemond 08-22-2003, 10:05 AM Buddy Holly
The Beatles
Led Zepellin (w/ John Bonham)
Queen
The Who (w/ Keith Moon)
Jimi Hendrix
Elvis
The Doors (w/ Morrison)
Lynyrd Skynyrd (w/Ronnie and Gaines)
Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Sublime

It's a bit O/T, but I did see one from your list, Janis Joplin, or, I should really say her group, Big Brother and the Holding Company, in concert. I was never a big fan of hers, and because of that, I don't remember the concert all that clearly, but I believe it was quite competent, and I do remember people dancing in the aisles. Also, I am happy to have seen the Lovin' Spoonful in concert.
