I forgot what episode it was called,but when Sandra finally came home from clooeg she and Alvin was off and on again,Cliff liked the old Martin which I forgot his name who was going out with Snadra, then in the laters years of The Cosby Show Martin got married to DensieIt is jsut strange that he dated to of the Cosby gals, it would be strange also if he date Vennesa and Rudy if the show had to go on in later years. http://

The episode is called "Cliff In Love" and it was episode #28 (season 2) and it first aired on October 17, 1985.
And Martin's real name is Joseph C. Phillips and at first, I did find it strange that he went out with Sondra, then married Denise in the later seasons.

Well, just in case u dont know, The character wasnt the same person. I think Cosby brought him back cuz he liked his acting. Lots of producers do the same thing. I dont really see anything strange.

Well, the actor that played Martin couldn't have dated anyone else later on because he was being used as a regular character, married to a Cosby girl already. The Sondra situation was only a one time thing, so I didn't think it was too weird having him return later on as different guy, even if it was a little funny. Sondra could have said, "Gosh, he reminds me of the guy I dated once while I was fighting with Elvin." LOL. Seriously though, I think the weirdest thing of all is that Sondra chose Elvin over him!
