I am really not prepared, I usually always read my summer reading books far in adavance, but I have only finished one this year and I have 2 left...eh oh well and I have an AP US History test the 2nd day of class:) oh wait no...

I'm starting 9th grade next Monday. Here's MY lovely schedule:

Computers and Technology-Term 1-Period 1
Design Production-Term 2-Period 1
Spanish 2-2nd Semester-Period 1
Geometry Honors-1st Semester-Period 2
English Honors-2nd Semester-Period 2
Government Honors-1st Semester-Period 3
Health-Term 3-Period 3
Fitness-Term 4-Period 3
Drama-1st Semester-Period 4
Algebra-Based Physics-2nd Semester-Period 4

Algebra-Based Physics is a RIDICULOUSLY hard class and if you didn't take Geometry in 8th grade (I took Algebra 1) you haveta get kick ass grades in math and science and get recommended for it. Dear lord. At least I have that second semester and I have Geometry 1st semester...unlike my friend who will be taking both at the same time.

4 classes a day...then field hockey practice. We start school at 7:30...*dies* but at least we get out at 2:15.

Some of my best school memories are from my days in Junior High. Anyway, good luck to you and everyone else starting back. :)

I agree. 7th grade for me was a LOT of fun. Hopefully you enjoy it as much, Jo. :) I REALLY loved 7th and 8th grade (8th grade is my #1 fave year). Good luck on Thursday!

8th grade was the best year...feels like just yesterday, it is really scary how time flys!

I Still remember the tortures of going back to Public school though. You spend your last week or Vacation trying to enjoy it but eveyrwhere you turn theirs commercials shouting about Back To School specials and that just makes it all the more depressing.

goof off in class and piss off the teachers and you'll find that school can really fun :)

my school kicks ass. i'm allowed to dress skimpy. i'm allowed to cuss (cept in one class but you just have to do 10 push ups ro situps which aint nothing.) i can draw and write about violent stuff. i can go on the internet. theres cool people. its big i can slide down the stair railings. hell... theres actually stairs. i can turn in my homework a minute late without getting detention.

as all opposed to my last queerass school. (and i'm not even exaggerating the part about homework.)

Me too! Graduating from HS was the best thing that happened to me. Granted, I still miss school, but my senior year sucked so I'm glad it's done! :p

:p You suck. My HS wasn't like that. We had filters on the computers like crazy - we couldn't even check our email (we used to be able to my freshman/sophomore years), just our stupid lameass school email that nobody ever uses. :rolleyes: And we have a dress code - no tank tops with bra straps showing (that's a good way to get girls to wear strapless bras ;)) and NO SHORT SHORTS ALLOWED. In other words, dress wisely. ;)

I can only smile when I think back to my 7th and 8th grade years. Wouldn't even mind going back! Now, high school on the other hand.. maybe. ;)

I am glad my school days are over. I graduated from college in 1998:) But best luck to you in Junior High ;)

Yeah that's just like me. I start on September 3rd. Except, I start classes at umm..8:00? I think. And we get out at 3:15 or something like that. But then see when I have field hockey practice during the school year it's gonna be from 3-6...soooooo yeah when I get home then I'll have to do homework and other stuff too, wow. Well I think I will like having 4 classes a day. I have block scheduling so that's four classes one day then four different classes the next.
