We are headed off Fri to go visit Hubbys sister & her family for 2 weeks in Columbus, OH on our annual go visit them for 2 weeks vacation.

On the way up we are staying at Hawks Nest State Park in Ansted, WV. The next day we go to Huntington, WV & then the next day Sun off to Columbus. With my diabetes it's just too hard for me to drive up there in one day & hubby can't drive anymore due to undiagnosed diabetes having made him legally blind. So therefore we have to stay overnite partway up & partway back which makes the trip less tiring. Taking 2 days to go up there gives us a chance to enjoy Hawks Nest & tourist sites & Huntington & the mall in Huntington. Ordinarily we'd stay in Charleston or a suburb of that but we can't do that this yr due to the sniper they are having in Charleston. Yikes! So we may stay in White Sulphur Springs, WV on the way back. 2nd choice would've been Beckley...

I'll have my slow 486 laptop with me so I can keep up with all the Freddie & Arlo sites & my e-mail too. So I'll still be around (I can hear a few folks groaning with pain LOL!).

If there's anyone out there that's gonna be near Columbus, OH while we're up there we'd be glad to get together with ya somewhere up there. Just let me know before we go so I'll know to bring my Freddie scrapbook with me so I can show it to ya... :)

PM me and I will give you directions to my house--we don't live too far from Columbus! I dunno exactly when or where we could get together, cuz my girls go back to school next week and we will be busy, busy hee hee! But I would sure love to try--meeting Freddie friends is always great!

That'd be neat to meet ya! We'll be going to see my cousin Jason Mraz the singer in concert in Columbus Aug 26. That is gonna be fun! It's neat how we both picked the same month to go up there. So Aug 26th we are tied up that day with that but anyother day we ought to be free... Anywhere I got I'll have to brign Mike with me tho cuz I don't like to drive in unfamiliar areas & around here even in town alone. He helps with the directions & I drive, plus he makes me feel safer LOL! He likes Freddie okay & enjoys CATM. Good thing cuz he has to put up with it ROTFL! ;)

We'll still have our laptop puter with us plus we may be able to use our nieces puter so if anyone wants to get a hold of us they still can. It will be fun! :)
