However, last night his body couldn't fight any longer and he died. It was an emotional day at school today, but I realize that he is in a better place now. He isn't suffering any longer but he will be missed by people whom he motivated all over the US by his moving speeches. Thanks again for all of your kind words, I'm glad that everyone here cares so much. I will post an address later on with a place to send donations to a leikemia fund in Scott's honor. Thanks again :) new england holiday 01-31-2001, 12:55 AM Sorry if this post gets posted twice, my computer just messed up... Last night Scott's body was too weak to fight the cancer and he died. Everyone will always remember him for being a fighter, a role model, and just a great fourteen year old kid. It was an emotional day at school today. I am just glad that Scott is not suffering any more and that he is in a better place. Thanks for all your kind comments and prayers. I appreciate it so much. I will post an address where donations could be made to a leikimia foundation in Scott's name. Thanks again for being so kind to him and also myself and his entire family and friends. We should just all take a minute and think about how important our lives are. Everyone should be sure to tell they're close friends, family, etc. how much they mean to you because you never know when something tragic is going to happen. Everyone be thankful for everything you have and just be thankful that you are alive. Thanks so much I'll never forget how nice everyone at this board has been. I'll post more later : ) new england holiday 01-31-2001, 12:58 AM Thank you AGAIN for being so nice through everything Love, Katie ThomasE 01-31-2001, 01:32 AM Oh man. That's a shame. BlairW_1 01-31-2001, 07:16 PM I'm really sorry about all this. I really feel that you will be successful with the cancer fund, because about a year ago I had a friend at school that was diagnosed with leukemia, and the elementary, middle, and high schools together raised over one thousand dollars. You all will be in my prayers. ------------------ T: Oh no! She's right! Sweet little me IS a mass murderer! But I don't remember any of it. Multiple personalities! That's gotta be it! B: Dippity-dooed? That's what I wanted everyone to think! That made it easier to get rid of the rest of you! T: You? You're the murderer? Blair, that's so inconsiderate! B: Don't you see? That's part of my plan to eliminate everyone who falls under the fifty percent tax bracket! T: But we were your friends! B: My friends don't wear polyester! They don't drive motorcycles or ramblers! They don't buy their shoes from the supermarket! T: I get mine from Paris, honest! B: Face it, Tootie! You're hopelessly middle-class! T: Blair! Blair! Please, wait! Please! Blair! Oh no! AAHH! I was really hoping your friend would make it through. But like you said, he's in a better place now. When my great grandpa died a couple of years age, ho had cancer that spread throughout his body. After a certain point, I began praying that God would take him so he didn't have to suffer. Try to find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place and is in good hands - Jesus'. If you need anything at all, please feel free to email me. I have said this before and just want you to know I mean it. Take care of yourself, ok?
