I am looking for Takeshi's Castle, the UK version, the reason I am looking for this is because I like the US version of Takeshi's Castle, better known as "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge", if anyone has any episodes of the UK version of Takeshi's Castle on VHS, email me at DLAnderson2003@aol.com, I have about 5 or 6 hours of episodes of Most Extreme Elimination Challenge recorded from SpikeTV.

Is 'Most Extreme Elimination' still just Takeshi with the Japanese contestants but a US narrator? Currently Takeshi's Castle shows in the UK- but it's just the Japanese episodes with our own UK narrator- Craig Charles.
I could probably tape you some- they'd be PAL cos I dunno where to get NTSC blank tapes, and my Sky Satellite Box is hooked up to a PAL VCR.
There's at least 3 episodes of the show on a day- on satudays I think it's five different episodes on Challenge, and 1 or two on Trouble.

Anyways, MXC has 2 hosts, one who is Victor Wilson who plays Vic Romano and there is Christopher Darga who plays Kenny Blankenship, a very crazy announcer, I have a question, if I have a VCR from the US that uses NTSC, can it play PAL tapes, because I don't know.

I would love to get copies of Takeshi's Castle to play in the U.S. too. However, PAL has a different scan frequency and a PAL player cannot play NTSC (US transmission standard for TV and VHS) or vica versa. There are dual PAL/NTSC players for about $ 1,000, but your average human being doesn't own one. If someone could burn Takeshi's castle onto a DVD, that should play fine on a computer anywhere.
