For all of you who may remember the 70's because you are old enough to have lived through them, or for you young ones who love the shows but wonder what all the fuss was about.....
VH1 is running a special "I love the 70's", two hours each night at 9 pm this week. I have my VCR set. I am hoping when they get to the hours on 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977 SOMETHING might be mentioned about Freddie and CATM. I want to capture anything on him, but I also want to see what else they have on the decade. I was in Jr. High, HS and College in the 70's so I have some fond memories of that time in my life.

Ya'll aren't gonna believe this but my cousin Jason Mraz the singer is supposed to be on this! I think he maybe hosting it or something! If he mentioned Freddie wow! :) If he doesn't I can sure kid him about it! LOL!

Is there anyone out there who could amke a copy of this for me if I sent ya the tapes to tape it on? I need this not only for Freddie but for my cousin being on there. Thanks! :)

BTW, I am taping them all, so if you email me your addy, I'll mail them to you.... they will be two tapes long. Dunno if they will mention CATM or Freddie. The hour for each year seems to fly by pretty fast. It was a cool walk down memory lane last night tho. My 18 year old daughter was watching and all she could say was, "OMG mom, was everyone on drugs then? What were they thinking with some of that stuff??" KIDS :mad:

We went to my folks house to watch that & it was good. I got to see Jason on there & Frederico! :) I was dissapointed they didn't mention CATM on there but glad they did have him as the Macho man of 1974! They showed some pics I hadn't seen before. Too bad someone couldn't take a pic of them showing his pic on the tv. That would be neat! :)

I was so exicted when I saw him on there I was yelling out Oh wow, there is Freddie, he is so frickin hot! :)

I watched it until the beginning of 1975. I stayed long enough to WELCOME BACK KOTTER & another of my hotties John Travolta. Being 10 pm my mom was hustling to get me outta there LOL! I had to say wait I gotta see John Travolta first LOL! I wish Jason had been in all the episodes tho. They had people on there I'd never heard of before...

Cheryl, I found the picture of him on the VH1 photo gallery. Here you go, girlfriend! This is the one they used on the show.

Thanks for sharing! :) Would ya believe it, yesterday at our hotel in Hutington, WV the 1974 episode came on & I was able to see his hunkiness again & take a picture of him on there with my digital camera. Woo-Hoo! :) Made my day! We are now at our nieces at Columbus, OH... :)

Thanks Luckymama! What I love about that picture of Freddie is if you look at it real good. It kinda makes me think he is trying his best not to keep from laughing. I can imagine him joking on the photo shoot with the crew making them laugh and trying his best to keep from laughing and spoiling the picture... I love it!!
