I was on www.factsoflife.com (http://www.factsoflife.com) in the sound section and it said in season 2 a cynthia dies????? WHO is cynthia and HOw does she die?????

I believe that Cynthia is the girl who committed suicide in the infamous (and unaired on nick at nite) episode "Breaking Point".

I do not know details of how or why she committed suicide, just that it happened after she lost an election to Blair, and that this is one of the "controversial", unaired episodes.

That is all.

I heard she committed suicide cuz her parents were getting a divorce or somethign liek that... i hear her life was REALLY bad... and yes i have that quote on my computer... this is it i think if i can remember...

This is the episode I recently asked
everyone about. I saw this on USA a few years ago (may have even taped it) -- but Nick
has been skipping it completely.

Cynthia appears in just this episode, and she's major competition for Blair. Her father
is an ambassador (I think that was it), she
speaks several languages and beats Blair in
a school government election. When she mysteriously commits suicide in her dorm,
the girls find out her parents were divorcing -- and Blair feels guilty because she was petty and mean towards her. Tootie freaks out. Jo is kind of cold about it.

Everyone was great in this episode...although at the end, it sort of degenerates into a public service announcement about teen suicide warning signs...

I think that Cynthia killed herself because her pearents got a divorce and she couldn't stand her life.

I remember that episode. That scared the daylights out of me when I first saw it. Blair lost to her in a school election. Blair needed to get over it. I kinda understand where Cynthia is coming from. Being sent off to boarding school. Family problems. There are some other things she might have been going through, but you could never tell that she was upset.
