Which phrases, references or situations from the show do you think will be lost on future generations, or even the current generation of Seinfeld viewers? Also are there any references that you dont understand now?

I think the whole reference to Tonya Harding and Jeff Galooli (?) will not be understood.

I think that's the beauty of Seinfeld, not much stuff is outdated.

Two OJ references may not make sense - the chase and the glove.

You've got a point about the OJ stuff.

In the first Babu episode, where Jerry has his turtleneck over his face and says "Bazooka Joe" I don't understand. I was under the impression that it refers to a bubblegum of some sort that had short cartoons on the label, but I sure as hell don't get it. Maybe I'm too young or too dumb; one of the two. Someone, please fill me in.

Yes - Bazooka Joe gum is still around. It is wrapped in a little comic and there is the guy who always has the turtleneck over half his face.

The attached comic was from a comedy site - the normal comics were more mundane.

Also all the Jon Vought references may go over peoples' heads. And I agree about the OJ stuff.

The JFK Jr references might be outdated considering he passed away a few years ago.

The thing about Seinfeld was either you were in on the joke or you were'nt. There were references made about previous episodes that I sometimes missed. I think the "gettin' jiggy with it" line Jerry was using (to an annoying extreme) during one episode will thankful be lost.

Greetings Kym. I think he only said getting Jiggy with it once, and I think it was amusing coming from a middle aged white guy. But I agree it may be lost on future viewers.

Hi Kymberly - If you just start watching more episodes you will get all the references and be on the "in"side ;)
