Who's career do you think is totally washed up? Someone who used to be a red hot actor who just doen't have it anymore.

Sylvester Stallone(LOL), Arnold Schwarzenegger, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Bruce Willis, Richard Gere, Tom Cruise, Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Wesley Snipes. Robert De Niro, Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino are the few actors who will never be washed up cause they always play in good movies.

OMG! At first I thought you were listing the actors that were washed up! I was like, "YOU'RE INSANE!!!"

Can I add Will Smith to that list? He's a good actor, and a good person, I have a lot of respect for him.

I think Stallone might be washed up. Most of his movies now go directly to video.

I did list the actors who i think are washed up. Anytime your movies go directly to video, u know you're washed up LOL. Stallone is playing in Spy Kids 3 movie that's out right now. He's stooped low this time with a kids movie LOL. Steve Guttenberg isn't acting anymore. Mira Sorvino is cute. I wanna see her in that movie with Mariah Carey. I think it's called Wiseguys.

shes going to be in another movie??? Didnt she get the hint that shes not a great actress from making Glitter? Sheesh!! LOL.

Wiseguys already came out Love Lucy straight to video last yr i think. Glitter movie wasn't that bad.

Tom's last couple of movies have sucked, that's why. Vanilla Sky was weird & i haven't seen Minority Report but i don't think too many people saw that. His Eyes Wide Shut movie got a lot of bad reviews also. I think the last movie i saw with him was Rain Man.

Eddie Murphy hasn't made a good movie since Life with Martin Lawrence LOL. The Adventures Of Pluto Nash was horrible & it went to video quick LOL. I haven't seen I Spy so i can't comment on that but i might wanna check it out. I haven't seen Daddy Day Care either so i can't comment on that. Arnold hadn't had a hit movie since Terminator 3 LOL.

It is called WiseGirls and I thought it was really good. I liked it better than Glitter, even though I did think that was also good. Most people never gave it a chance.

Eyes Wide Shut did tank, but Minority Report brought in 132 million and the critics loved it. Cruise made 25 million plus a percentage of the profits from MR. (IMDB)

Richard Gere is not washed up.
He just won a Golden Globe for Chicago and was nominated for a SAG award also.
Unfaithful from last year was also successful.

Tom Cruise and Bruce Willis are bounce back type guys that can come back with a $100 million dollar maker in a second.
-Mission Impossible 3 for Tom next summer is almost a guarantee.
-Die Hard 4 for Bruce next year is a guarantee and The Whole Ten Yards will make decent money.

And I don't think Mel Gibson is very worried either. Signs was very successful- made over $227 million in the US alone-and he has Mad Max 4 coming out.
Plus his other recent movies - We Were Soldiers and The Patriot - all made more money than their budget.
And What Women Want made over $182 million - on budget of $65 mil.

I love Mel Gibson.. he will always be one of my favorite actors!!! I think Josh hartnett is gonna tank soon.. We havent heard anything about him since Pearl Harbor.

He was in the movie "Hollywood Homicide" wtih Harrison Ford this year. I don't think it earned a lot of money at the box office and I don't think it got that many good reviews.

I agree with you on Gere. I do NOT think Gere is washed up... just yet. His role in 'Chicago' was significant- a movie that almost never made it to the big screen, and ended up being the runaway hit of the year and winning "Best Picture". Gere's definitely still doing good.

I am not a Tom Cruise fan, I find him extremely overrated, but I loved Vanilla Sky and Minority Report. I like those types of movies. MR grossed 150 million, it did pretty good and it turn Colin Farall into a star

Eddie Murphy is hit-and-miss these days, he can have a smash then a flop. He will never be as big as he was in the 80's again, but I don't think anyone is worried that he's washed up either, because he does whatever he wants these days and can get away with it because he's Eddie Murphy

I find it hilarious people in here are naming people like Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Eddie Murphy. If your movies are still getting released in theaters, you are fine.

A washed up actor to me is someone like Erik Estrada, William Baldwin, Corey Haim, Jennifer Beels. These actors used to be somebody and now their only starring roles are in 3 am movies on Cinemax.
