View Full Version : How many agree that Jack was only attracted to Terri and Chrissy and Not Cindy and TVFactFan 08-17-2003, 12:02 PM janet? I don;'t Jack never was attracted to Cindy and Janet. JT 08-17-2003, 12:51 PM Yes he was.....he always looked at Cindy in her nightgown! And how many times has he touched Janet's butt? He enjoyed their Mate for Each Other date. He danced with her in Some of that Jazz. Solomon, go to hell. TVFactFan 08-17-2003, 12:54 PM Originally posted by JT Yes he was.....he always looked at Cindy in her nightgown! Cindy was too goofy for Jack and Janet was too plain. On the other hand, Terri and Chrissy were both sexy Krisalicious 08-17-2003, 01:22 PM Yeah JT is right! Jack was obviously the most attracted to Janet...he's even called her "My Janet" (Larry Loves Janet). I can see what you're saying about how he'd go for Chrissy and Terri a lot but that was because they were pretty. He liked Janet because of her personality. I mean not that he didn't like Chrissy and Terri's personalities, because he did. But don't tell me Chrissy would have gotten the same attention from him if she didn't wear her little tiny nightgowns...or jiggled around....But Janet doesn't walk around showing herself off. She got Jack's attention by being herself. Jack liked their date in A Mate for Each Other..and if something really did happen between them in a Night Not to Remember I don't think Jack would mind..and last but not least, in the episode before the last episode where Janet tells Jack she's moving out to get married to Phillip, he became so sad, because he'd miss her so much. Oooh, did he do that when Chrissy or Cindy left? Nope. So to sum this all up, Jack had a special bond with Janet that he never had with any of the other blondes. Oh, and about Cindy, he thought she was cute, but I didn't really think he was attracted to her. Probably because she bumped into him constantly and hurt him.. Two Statements from Jack about Janet In the episode Good Old Reliable Janet, Jack states she is dependable and reliable. In the episode when Janet had the Vase, Jack said that Janet was not the type of girl who would swept a guy off hs feet. Jack said she has to grow on people. Do I need to say anymore? Your first statement was inane and had nothing to do with Jack not liking Janet. If Janet was dependable, it would mean that Jack would be more attracted to Janet, not less. Also, Jack and Janet lived with each other for eight years. I'd say that was more than enough time for her to grow on him. There was an attraction. You just don't want to admit they had feelings for each other because in the SOLOMON Universe, only blondes are the beauties. Well, we're not in the SOLOMON Universe, so things are not always going to go the way you say they should. So stop being a Sitcom Complainer instead of a Sitcom Analyzer. Solomon, why are you always concerned about who Jack was attracted to? I think he was attracted to all of the girls, not just Terri and Chrissy. God, so what if Jack looked at Chrissy and Terri more, that still does not mean he was not attracted to Janet and Cindy. Why do you always post questions like this? *Pleasant Tomorrow* 08-17-2003, 03:05 PM Sorry, I don't agree with you either Solomon...he just goofed around with Chrissy more because of her skimpy outfits...and because he could get away with a lot more with her because she was a ditz lol...and Terri was just a new face, after awhile he didn't flirt with her as much. Czas na Zywiec 08-17-2003, 03:19 PM I'll put in simple terms SOLOMON. And since you're a guy, you should be familiar with this. Guys think about sex every 5 minutes. That's a fact. While we saw that Jack stared at Chrissy and Terri, he wasn't thinking long-lasting relationship. He was thinking sex. A quickie. Five minutes in the John. With Janet, he didn't want to have sex with her because he didn't want to think he was taking advantage of her. He really cared about her, and didn't want to ruin anything by sleeping with her. THAT's the difference. THAT's the difference. to both of you!!!!! Look at this. Let's just say....Chrissy and/or Terri were two flat chested girls that went to sleep in pants and a sweater. Do you think Jack would have reacted the same way he did with them when they wore their skimpy clothes? And let's all admit it. Jack was sort of a pervert. Look at "Alone Together" where Jack tries to make Chrissy feel better and says that he would have attacked Chrissy and tried stuff with her if he didn't have a girlfriend. When Janet was around him, Jack turned more serious. He realized that he respects her as a person and when he thought they slept together, well yeah I guess he must have liked it but he knew she was old fashioned and probably didn't want to do "that" til she was married. See. And when that guy Michael from "Some of that Jazz" ruins Janet by saying she'll never make it as a dancer (if she didn't make it with him..erm) and Jack comes to the rescue. Seeeee. He's trying to protect her from doing "that" which she wants to save for marriage. Must attraction always be towards the BODY? I think it's better for someone to be attracted to your personality, but that's my opinion. Bella_KitKat 08-17-2003, 08:15 PM Just because Jack didn't get all sex-perverted-crazed around Janet all the time doesn't mean he wasn't attracted to her. He was...just in a different way from "the blondes". I mean, with Chrissy and Cindy and Terri, he hit on them every once in a while (okay, maybe it was more than once in a while with Chrissy...) but it was just in fun. You know, joking around?? And with all of them (but especially Janet) he'd always stop when he knew it wasn't fun for them anymore. It's just my theory, but because Jack lived with Janet the longest, he was able to form a deep friendship with her that could withstand harmless flirting. He knew what she was like, what she wanted from a guy in a relationship, how far she would go if he flirted with her, and what she moist certainly would not do, under any circumstances. AND HE REPECTED THAT. That, my friends, is the deppest and most personal way of showing a girl you care -- by respecting her values and limits. (At least in my opinion.) Mr.PPV! 09-01-2003, 05:07 PM In "Jack To The Rescue",remember the ending when Cindy said "I feel so good" then hugged Jack?He said "You certainly do". |
