No, there never was a finale.

The last episode- "Up and Down the Dial," dealt with Mother Carlson about to change the format of WKRP to all-news even though the station just went up in the ratings.

As it turned out, she didn't.

A very good episode and in place of an actual finale, not so bad as ending note.

A real finale would have been nice.
