I love the Brady Bunch, so don't get me wrong. I watch it daily, even though I have seen every episode several times (w/ a few exceptions). However, the show was rarely laugh out loud funny. However, one major exception comes to mind. In the Joe Namath episode, when Joe is leaving, he meets Mike in the living room. Joe has just met a supposedly dying Bobby, and Mike says with a big smile, "When you have 6 kids something like this is bound to happen to one of them." That had me in stitches! One of the few laugh out loud Brady moments.

I laugh out loud when Bobby gets the umbrella stuck in the hood of Gregs car.

I agree with Marcia getting hit with the football, especially when they show it over and over again. Alice also cracks me up on a regular basis.

In the episode, "Goodbye, Alice, Hello", Alice is pretty funny when she is working in the diner.

Alice: "These are the Bradys".

Owner: "And these are the customers!!"

Skip Farnum!

"Now, Mom, you're over here by the counter, makin' with the greenery, and Pops, you come flippin' in and lay the flakes on the little lady."

"That's what happens when you put a bunch of squares in front of the camera. They flip out on you!"

My dad, who rarely laughs out loud, chuckled when Peter said he got to be Blossom of the Month.

OMG, that "Blossom of the Month" thing cracks me up every time. Especially that disgusted look Peter gives while reciting the "I am a little sunflower" poem. And then when the guy says, "I hate cookies, but you've got nerve!" (or something like that)

Also, I like the part in the "Greg's Orange Hair" episode where Bobby and Oliver ask that woman who answers her door, "Ma'am, are you tired of having dull, dried-out hair?" and she slams the door on them. N@N cuts this part out, usually.

I remember the hair tonic quote you're speaking of, with the woman answering the door. It actually went like this...

Bobby: "Madam, is your hair an unruly mess?"

(door slammed on him)

One of my other favorite LMAO moments is when Mike and Carol allow Bobby to stay up late and watch a Jesse James movie, in hopes it will dissuade him from being Bobby's hero. Instead, the station cuts out all the violence and he becomes even more of a hero to Bobby. I especially love the following quote (which happens when a scene where Jesse James kills a prospector and kidnaps his daughter is inexplicably cut from the movie)...

Bobby: "Wasn't it nice of Jesse to give that girl a ride?"

The looks on Mike and Carol's faces are priceless!!!

Another LOL moment from that final BB ep. Greg's hiding his orange hair under a towel but takes it off in front of Pete. Pete starts laughing at Greg's orange hair, and Greg lets out a hysterical squeal through his clenched teeth, humming and squealing at the same time, it seems, while his eyes get really big at the same time.

I like that one too it was very funny. but one of my favorites was the one with greg fixin up peter with their 1st doubledate as phil packer, the girls figured peter for greags brother and thougth greg was playing a joke on them so their 2nd night out they decided to give all the attention to peter and greg was so shocked, all the while mike and carol were a couple of tables over with one of mikes buiness prospects, making the comment, it is ao embarasing to see kids acting that way, the funnyest part was when mike and carol made eye contact with greg and peter, ud think greg and peter were about to get shot the way they reacted. so funny

When Peter's fake moustache kept coming loose and he was chewing on it, it was so funny!

The parents overreacted afterwards when they met the boys in the family room and walked in real stiff and stern. Carol called their behavior X-rated! What X-rated behavior?? So the girls were cuddling up to Peter - big deal! The best thing the parents could have done was just ignore them at the restaurant as if they didn't even know them. Then they wouldn't have been embarrassed in front of their guests.

That wasn't all that possible when the business clients drew Mike's and Carol's attention to Greg, Peter, and the girls necking. (That WAS a funny scene  !!!)

I understand that he drew their attention to the boys, but he had never met them. They didn't have to say those were their sons. I'm sure once Greg caught Dad's eye, Greg would have said "Let's leave". The parents could have just spoken to them
at home.

man: How long have you been married?

Mike and Carol: 3 Years :)

Man: 3 years and 6 kids... what a weird family.

Or something like that, made me laugh. A couple other moments have too.

Alice always made me laugh. For some reason I liked Mike Bradys expressions and funny looks. Always so realistic. I love his reactions.

Very realistic indeed. Robert Reed was a great actor.

Robert Reed and Barry Williams were very talented (the rest of the cast was too but these two stick out)

Now dont get me wrong.... The Brady Bunch is one of my favorite shows....
I think the entire cast was great.

Its just their acting was far better than the writing.
And only a few moments were ever laugh-out-loud funny.

I always laughed at the episode where they broke Carol's vase, then they tried to glue it back together, only to have it leak water all over the dinner table as they're eating.

Also Greg Brady's "Clowns never laughed before" song. It is so horrible I can't help but laugh out of embarrassment.

I loved the Very Brady Sequel Movie when they made fun of when Cindy found Marsha's diary before giving it to that book collector. Cindy was so excited to read the diary because she thought it would be filled with "mature, womanly things" and then read, "My dream of dreams is to one day be Mrs. Desi Arnaz, Jr." LOL That cracks me up everytime.

Another scene that floors me every time I see it is from part 2 of the Hawaii vacation. Early in the show, Carol hints to Mike that she's quite fond of a coral pin she noticed in the gift shop's display window. Later, Mike is preparing to remove the huge spider that frightened Peter, using a gift bag to carry it in until he sets it free outside. Carol sees Mike with the bag and thinks he bought the coral pin for her.

Carol: Oh Mike, you are sneaky... sneaky but sweet! (kiss, kiss) Were you going to put that under my pillow?

Mike: What, THIS?

Carol: Yes, it's the coral pin!

Mike: No it's not the coral pin.

Carol: It's not the jade bracelet?

Mike: No.

Carol: Then it's the coral pin!

Mike: It's not the coral pin.

Carol: It IS the coral pin! (she grabs the bag from Mike, looks inside and sees the spider) BLEAAAAHHHHHH! (she gives the bag back to Mike) It ISN'T the coral pin!

Mike: Told ya!

I haven't laughed so hard in the Brady Bunch than I did in the episode where Gregs hair goes orange. That was really funny!
