fans of the sitcom "Coach" here?

I feel as though "Coach" was treated as badly as "Wings" was & Is by TV channels.

What did you think of Coach, I think its a great show.

While I don't like "Coach" as much as I like "Wings", it WAS a good sitcom....and there was great (and funny) chemistry among the various cast members.

(However, I didn't like "Coach" as much when they shifted the locale to Florida...don't ask me why, I just didn't).

I never really got into "Coach", but I've always felt that I could like it. In fact, I decided to start watching it on N@N, just before they moved the timeslot. My older sister and my Dad like the show and used to watch it when it was new. If it ever comes to DVD, I'll buy it.

As for seasons 7 - 9 of "Coach", I know that when they first played "Happy Days" N@N would not play any episode post-Richie. They eventually did, however. Same with "Bewitched". They only played the Black and White episodes. But eventually played them all. Maybe the same thing is going on with "Coach" and eventually, they will play them all. And honestly, I didn't think N@N would play the last two seasons of "Wings".

I can remember when Coach was first going to air in prime time, and I saw where Craig T. Nelson was in a comedy, and thought WHAT? I kept thinking this was the same guy from Poltergeist! He's not a comic actor. Little did I know this show would last as long as it did. I didn't watch it all the time, but I'd catch it from time to time. I remember the whole wedding and wedding dress fiasco, and I also remember an episode where they went to a party? and Luther was complaining he didn't know anybody there and then Dick Van Dyke walked by and Luther didn't notice. Very clever. I did watch the last episode, and actually liked it.

I definitely am a fan of "Coach." :) Used to watch it quite often and enjoyed every episode that I saw.

Although Craig T. Nelson's current CBS series "The District" is basically a police/crime drama, he manages to inject some light comedy touches in THAT show as well.

Hmmm...maybe if Tim Daly or Steven Weber could find THAT type of a series and role (where some lighter moments are seen), they would be more successful in a new TV series, instead of the heavy-handed (and somewhat depressing) drama series that we've seen them in lately.

(For what it's worth, Craig T. Nelson is one of my favorite actors...I have NEVER seen him give a bad performance in ANYTHING that he was in, comedy OR drama!).

I really like Coach, and was disappointed at the shabby treatment that it got by N@N also.

yeah, I remember watching Coach once in a while when it was in its first run, and then a few months ago... whenever it was on N@N at a reasonable hour, I was watching it again pretty regularly. It's a really funny show. I like it.
