Is the show set in Iowa, because i always hear TRI STATE, while theres still illinois and wisconsin i dont think its either cuz if it was in wisconsin theyd all be talkin like canadians and eating cheese, and if it was in illinois they wouldnt be so hicky and have the southern meets midwest accents. Southern Iowa is more relevent cuz there just a liitle hicky down there. The only thing is in AN ILL WIND theres a tornado in NOVEMBER! Well i live in north iowa and usually u hear about snow on thanks giving.

No, it takes place in Missouri. Vicki Lawrence confirms the location in her 1995 autobiography, "VICKI!: The Real-Life Adventures of Miss Fireball". :)

Iowa is not a tri-state area. We have the Quad Cities, but we're not tri-state.
But I agree...parts of Southern IA are hicky. :D

Was it this board some poele debated the lcoation some time ago? I love it when boards do this. I never have much to add, but I like reading it. So it's Missouri for sure, huh? Cool.

I'm not sure. But it's definitely Missouri because Vicki mentions it in her autobiography, like I posted about up top. :)
