In that "School Ties" special feature in People, Dan F. said that the audience "screamed like they (the cast) were the Beatles" when they appeared on Oprah. When did they?

I read that, too. If I knew I could get old Oprah eps. on tape, I'd be searching like a mad woman right now.

Personally, I cannot stand Oprah (her as a talk show host, not her as an actress) because she's so phony, but I would wait on her hand and foot if I got a copy of that tape...if it's the original cast. If it's the new cast, then I'll just be grateful. I'm gonna find Oprah's website and do some research.

Don't they say, at the end of talk and news shows, that you can buy transcrpits? I wonder if we could do that.

I just looked over there. Unfortunately, there are no tapes available for after September 2000...but you can buy transcripts. (It's not the same, though!:( )

I don't know. I called the transcript number, an extremely elderly lady answered the phone. It took 20 minutes...but to no avail. I gave her "Head of the Class," "teen stars," "school shows," "Howard Hesseman," etc., as keywords, and she could not find anything. She was giving me results like Kelsey Grammer and "Frasier"...no help at all. She told me the best thing to use is the date the show originally aired, which I don't know, so until I get new info, the search is null and void.:confused:
