Nate had seen CD leave and knew she was trying to avoid him. She had succeeded there for quite a while already but he was fed up with that. So he rushed after her and caught her in the parking lot when she had just entered her car. He opened the passenger side door and sat down next to her.

"Nate" CD knew exactly what he wanted from her but she still didn't feel ready to talk about it. So she just wished he would leave her car again.

"Don't you dare run away from me!" He said sternly and sighed. "CD please... we need to talk. Tell me you think it was a mistake, tell me you're not ready yet, tell me you changed your mind... just please stop ignoring me. Don't break my heart like that." He looked at her, pain evident in his eyes.

CD sighed slightly. She knew that he deserved an answer, that was the least she had to do. But she wasn't sure if she should tell him what she felt. She was afraid that he would turn her down then. "Nate, I ... " She didn't look in his eyes. Then she inhaled and said: "You know, I don't think of 'it' as a mistake ... I ..." She paused again.

Nate looked at her and reached over and gently placed his hand on her cheek. "Then what?" He softly asked.

She shivered at the touch of his hand but she didn't make him move it away. "I ... it wasn't a mistake because ... it was what I ... uhm, felt, no, feel for you." CD prepared herself for a 'turn down' from him. She was pretty sure that he didn't feel the same way she did.

"So do I." He whispered and leaned in closer and gently kissed her lips.

CD was more than surprised. That was a response she had never expected. But she was very happy with it. When they stopped kissing she smiled like the happiest woman on earth. "Wow, I haven't expected that. That was also the reason why I ignored you. I was afraid of your response", she whispered.

He frowned at that. "You were scared I'd kiss you again?"

She giggled. His confused gaze was so cute. "No, I was afraid you would kinda ignore me then, ya know?"

He chuckled too. "That's just impossible. How could I ever ignore the most beautiful woman on earth?" He kissed her again.

CD loved the way he kissed her. But then suddenly another thought crossed her mind. "Nate ... we .... there's something we need to talk about. I mean we work together ... " She looked down on her knees. Then she said slowly: "I don't wanna lose you as my partner."

He sighed and looked down too. "I don't wanna lose that either." Then he looked at her again. "But I..." He tilted her chin up so she had to look at him again. "Candace I love you. I want you and I need you. I'll be honest with you, I can't promise you that everything stays the same when we allow ourselves to be more than partners, but I'd die to find out."

A small tear escaped her eye. He was so sweet that CD wasn't sure if she deserved him. "Yeah, I know. I would do anything for you!" She slightly kissed him. "But we have to hide it, don't we?"

He kissed her tear away and sighed again. "I'm afraid so baby." He wrapped his arms around her and just held her close for a moment.

She snuggled close to him. This felt too good to be true.

"Hey, how about we go to 'Anchorside' and celebrate a little since we're both off duty?" She asked him.

He smiled. "I'd rather be alone with you... I mean... at Anchorside, if somebody sees us there... I can't hold you, I can't kiss you... and we need to talk some more too I think. But how about we grab dinner to go there?" He stroked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Sounds good to me" She smiled and drove her car over there.

He winked at her and got out of the car and walked into their hangout. But he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw Jinny at the bar.

CD too saw Jinny. "Oh no." Instantly she let go of Nates hand which she'd held.

Then she took a closer look at Jinny. It looked she was kinda drunk and was trying to get even more drunk.

Nate nodded. "Not good" He whispered. He knew they couldn't let her continue to get drunk.

So CD walked over to Jinny. "Hey Jinny. What's up?"

Jinny ordered the bartender to fill up her glass again. "Havin fun here. You?" Jinny said sarcastically. She had thought it was for the best that Jack left. And she still thought that. But she had been so terribly alone. And then she had remembered her brother's death again... wanting to die herself... she had just wanted to talk to Magda, had needed her friend. But Magda wasn't alone. She had sent her away again to be with Jonah. So now Jinny was here, alone, drinking.

"I can see that." CD was aware that Jinny struggled with her life. Not wanting to support her killing her problems with alcohol, she herself took the refilled glass and drank the whole alcohol. "You better come with us, mhm?"

"Hey!" Jinny protested. "Get your own!" She glared at CD

"No, I won't." She took Jinny's arm and gave the barkeeper some dollars. "Come on, Jinny. I won't let you get drunk!" Outside she said to Nate: "I'll take her with me home. What about you?"

Nate nodded. "I'm with you." He knew Jinny needed her friends now. And he didn't want to leave CD alone with her either.

"Great. We're havin a party." Jinny muttered and glared at CD who was still holding her arm. "Let go of me and play mommy for somebody else, will ya?"

"Can you drive?" She asked Nate. "I can sit with her in the back then."

Nate nodded and looked at Jin. "Where's Magda?"

Jin snorted at that. "Ohhh yeah. Magda... my partner... and friend... yeah... I was there... but she talked Gabe into going camping with Ben so she and Jonah could have one last night together..." She rolled her eyes. "So I got kicked out again." She sounded upset about that.

CD rolled her eyes too at that. That was typical for Magda. Although she had a great husband, she needed the lover thing.

Nate sighed and took the keys from CD. "Okay I'll drive"

"Hey, be carefull since it's my car you're driving. And if you damage it, I'll make you pay for it." She smirked and climbed in the car next to Jinny. Then she placed one arm around Jinnys shoulders. "Everything will be alright, okay?"

"Uhhh yeah. I so believe that!" Jinny slurred. "Everybody keeps on telling me my damn life will be okay again, but it just keeps on getting worse. I kicked out my husband... who I didn't even love, which I know now... I just didn't wanna be alone anymore, ya know?"

"I'll be there with you, okay? As long as you want me I'll stay with you, Jinny. I promise!" CD somehow was sad about the circumstances her friend was in. She really wanted to help her.

"Yeah sure. Whatever." She had been hurt way too often already to believe that.

CD knew that Jinny would make it hard for her but she wouldn't give in too soon.

Nate looked into the rearview mirror and sighed and looked at CD sadly as he parked the car at her place.

"Okay, here we are Jinny." CD helped her out of the car. Jinny seemed pretty tired now which surely was the effect of the alcohol.

CD took out her keys and opened the door to her apartment. "Come in." she said and then picked up her daily mail. She flipped through the letters which mostly were bills, but then she found a letter of her landlord.

Jinny and Nate followed her inside and Jinny beelined to the kitchen and opened the fridge and looked through it and found a beer and opened that.

"Hey hey hey!" Nate quickly took it from her and poured it into the sink. "CD!"

CD was opening the letter and was shocked. Her landlord told her to move out within the next week. He was very sorry but he needed the apartment for his daughter who had an accident and needed permanent accommodation now.

"Yeah, uhm, I'm coming." CD went in and saw Jinny with another beer that she had taken out of the fridge while Nate was busy pouring away the first one. She slammed the letters and her keys on the table. "Hey, hey, Jinny. No beer for you!" She took her by her shoulders and led Jinny to her bedroom. "You'll need to get some sleep now and tomorrow we'll talk about everything. Okay?" CD took an over-sized t-shirt out of her closet and gave it to Jinny. "Here, that'll do it!"

Jinny was too tired to protest and got dressed into CD's shirt and crawled into the bed and hid under the covers and hugging the pillow started to cry. She felt bad for bothering CD like this. She didn't want to cause anybody trouble. Not Magda and let alone CD. Apparently Magda didn't want the big pile of trouble that was Jinny Exstead anymore either. She had needed her friend and she had turned her down. That actually hurt her more than knowing her marriage had failed. Magda had always told her she was scared she couldn't count on her as a partner. But it turned out that Magda was the one Jinny couldn't count on.

CD heard her cry and walked up to the bed. "Hey Jinny" She said softly and sat down next to her. She took her hand and held it, her other hand was softly stroking Jinnys cheek, until Jinny fell asleep.

Nate sighed. He had watched from the doorframe. He motioned for CD to come out of the bedroom now that Jinny was sound asleep

Softly CD let go of Jinnys hand and left the room without making any noise. Outside after closing the door, she sighed and leaned herself against Nate and hugged him tightly.

"Awww shh." Nate hugged her back and kissed into her hair. "I swear this is all just Magda's fault! If she had been there for her partner instead of screwing around Jinny wouldn't have started to drink again." He hissed.

"Yeah, Magda made it all worse. She's so egoistic." CD sighed again. "Since we didn't have something for dinner now, you want me to order a pizza?"

He shook his head. "I'm not really hungry actually. Come on." He took her hand and pulled her with him to the couch and sat down and pulled her into his lap. "Relax a little. Tomorrow when Jin has sobered up we'll talk to her and I'm sure we'll find a solution. I mean AA seemed to help her. We're her friends and we'll help her too, right?" He then kissed her temple. "I'll stay tonight." He said and then realized what it sounded like. "On the couch! Because of Jin... I want to be here to help you. And her."

CD snuggled closer to him. She smiled a little. "Thanks" she said softly. And then tears welled up in her eyes. Tonight there had been so many things that stressed her. First Jinny being drunk again and then her landlord throwing her out of her apartment. How in the world should she find an apartment and move out within a week? Suddenly she realized again that she wasn't alone. "Sorry, Nate .. I just ..."

"Oh god baby." He sighed and felt so helpless. He kissed her tears away and held her close. "Shhh it'll be okay again. Look, Jin does need our support, but she still has her sponsor too, and I'm sure once she's back in AA she'll get better. We hang out with her more often too, and don't count on Magda being there for her anymore. She had a hard time. First she lost John jr, now Jack moved away, and Magda turning her down. But she'll be okay again. Her family cares for her too. And you and I are gonna kick Magda's ass for what she did tonight."

"Yeah ... but it's not just Jinny ... " CD sighed and showed Nate the letter of her landlord.

"Oh." Nate looked at it. "Crap... damn CD I'm sorry... I'll help you though... I mean I'd say you can move in with me, but somehow I think that wouldn't help the 'keeping it secret' part."

"Yeah, that would just help to keep the gossip going. But thanks anyways. I mean I'll somehow find a solution." She snuggled even closer to him and was already glad the she finally had him. With him she would make it through anything.

"I'll help you find something else. Believe it or not I found my appartment online." He grinned. "Hey we'll find you an amazing place, even better than this."

"Thanks for your support." She could even smile again because she was sure that they would make it. "Uhm, can I do at least something for you? A beer? A pillow? A blanket?" She grinned at the last things she'd said.

"I uh.... I poured all the beer into the sink.... I thought with Jinny here... sorry." He looked down.

"That's okay." CD smiled. "If you hadn't done it I would have done it myself. So can I get you anything else?"

"A little kiss would be nice." He whispered shyly.

CD grinned even more. He had said it a like a little school boy on his first date. He was so cute. "Everytime!" And then she turned around to face him so that she could kiss him. Slowly she leaned in until their lips met. Her hands were stroking his back softly while their tongues duelled.

He put his arms around her neck and kissed her back full of love. But the kiss was interrupted when they heard Jinny scream. "She's having a nightmare." Nate supposed.

"I'll be right back." She left him sitting on the couch and went into the bedroom. Jinny was still asleep but sweat was on her forehead and she was moving form one site to another. CD softly took her hand. "Shshsh, you're safe here, Jinny. No one's gonna harm you." She stroked her cheek until Jinny was back to a normal and peaceful sleep.

Then she went back into the livingroom and sat down next to Nate again. "She's fine now."

"I'm glad." He kissed her cheek. "You should get some sleep too."

"You mind me sharing the couch with you?" She now asked shyly since she didn't know where else to sleep.

"I'd love that." He smiled and kicked off his shoes and laid back and held his arms open. "Come here."

"Just one second." She went into the bathroom and slipped in some more comfortable clothes, another over-sized t-shirt and some boxers. Sleeping with a bra wasn't that comfortable. Then she went back to Nate and snuggled close to him. "You want me to get a blanket?" She asked 'cause somehow she felt cold.

He nodded. "You mind if I take off my jeans?"

CD was gald that they'd already turned out the lights 'cause if not he would see her blushing now. "Uhm, no. Get as comfortable as you want. I'll get a blanket in the meantime."

She stood up once more and got a blanket out of her bedroom where Jinny now slept steadily. "Here, so that it won't get cold at night."

He smiled and pulled her close to him again. "Perfect"

She again snuggled close to him, now the blanket wrapped around them. The feeling of his naked legs against her own naked legs sent shivers through her body plus being able to feel his heartbeat helped too. She slowly closed her eyes to really enjoy this.

He kissed her again. "Sweet dreams" He smiled at her and held her close, falling asleep soon himself and feeling like never before with her in his arms.


The next morning the first sunlight woke her up. It wasn't time to get up yet. Their shift started at 10am today. Slowly all the memories of the last nigth came back to her mind and she finally realized that she hadn't dreamt it, that she was really lying in Nates arms. She turned and softly kissed him, not wanting to wake him.

"hmmm" he mumbled, waking up as she stirred in his arms. Then he too realized he wasn't dreaming and kissed her back. "I think I can get used to this." He whispered

"Yeah, me too!" She smiled happily. "Sorry, I didn't meant to wake you."

"It's okay. I'm glad you did." He kissed her again. "I like being woken up like this." He smirked and kissed down her jawline and slipped his hand under her shirt and gently caressed her belly.

"Okay then." She smiled at the touch of his hands. This whole thing felt so good. She sighed while her hand stroked through his hair.

He kissed her lips again. "Want me to make coffee?"

"Sounds good to me." She got up. "I'll just go to bathroom. Be right back, okay?" She kissed him and left.

Nate followed her with his eyes and then got up too. He felt like the happiest man on earth and still couldn't believe this was all happening to him.

Jinny woke up when something really bright shined into her face. On her way to the bathroom CD had opened the curtains quietly. She cringed and turned around and wanted to hide her head under the pillow when she realized that she wasn't in her own bed. That made her snap awake right away and she looked around the room and groaned when she realized she had no idea where she was. "Great... back to my old self." She muttered and saw she was wearing somebody elses shirt.... a way to big shirt. She got up and her clothes were scattered all over the room. Taking a deep breath she gathered them and walked outside and gasped in shock when she saw who was making coffee in the kitchen, wearing boxers and a shirt. 'Oh god CD's gonna kill me.' she thought to herself as she walked into the kitchen.

Nate was about to turn on the coffee machine when someone entered the room. He turned around and saw Jinny standing there. "Morning, beautiful. Slept well? How are you doing? Last night you were a little drunk." He smiled. "I already got up to make some strong coffee. You want some?"

She swallowed. "Uhh yeah sure... Look Nate... about last Nate... eh last night... and with me being drunk and everything..." She wasn't sure how to tell him that she didn't even remember haing slept with him. And she sure hoped that he could accept it as a one night stand and pretend it never happened.

Nate was kinda confused. "Hey, Jinny. That's okay. I mean that's what friends are for! I'm glad I could have done something for you to make you feel better." He smiled at her.

"Uhhhh... yeah... I really appreciate... what you did... just don't do it again okay?" She blinked a little. He had never seen him like this but right now he acted like a jerk. He had used her when she was drunk to get laid and now expected her to thank him because he had screwed her? All men were jerks. She was certain now.

"Uhm, Jinny. I don't understnad. I mean I would do it anytime again for you. I'm your friend!" Nate stated. Something was going in wrong directions now. He was sure of that.

At that moment CD walked out of the bathroom again and into the kitchen. She smiled when she saw Jinny was awake and not looking too bad. She put her hand on Jinny's shoulder and slightly squeezed it. "Hey you. I hope you slept well." She then looked at Nate. "And he's right. Anytime. We're friends. So no big deal. It's a damn shame you got drunk though. You should have known you could have come to us."

Jinny swallowed and blinked. Now that was something she hadn't ever expected. She felt like the biggest slut ever and couldn't believe that CD had done what they had done apparently. She blinked at them and watched as CD walked over to Nate and took a cup of coffee from him and handed it to her and then got another cup and took a deep sip herself. Jinny looked at them bewildered and then took a deep breath and cleared her throat. "Alright... I need to set something straight here... I mean I don't know about you guys... and I honestly don't care... I mean.. nevermind. But me.. regardless my former reputation... I don't usually do THIS. And I don't ever wanna do it again either!"

Back from ... well, let's call it "vacations". Wow, never thought we get so much feedback. *g* Hey, pay attention, I might get addicted to your feedback, which would mean I'll write more and more and more .... just to get feedback. ;-) j/k

Here's some more .... (and it's getting better with every part we post! I swear!!!)

Nate smiled at her. "Hey don't worry. We know that."

CD sipped her coffee and resisted the urge to take Nates hand. But that would have been obvious. "Yeah we know, it's all Magda's fault. We know you don't drink anymore and we're gonna help you, no matter what!"

Nate nodded. "We're just glad you're okay again. But we hope that you want to go back to AA again and give it a new start and all, ya know?" He looked at CD and took a deep breath. "Only CD knows this, but I trust you.. so... if you ever need to talk... I mean I'm not an alcoholic but before I joined you guys I had a little coke problem. I know what it's like to be addicted and that it takes a lot not to fall back. We all know you had a hard time. And Magda let you down when you needed her most. That was her biggest mistake. So please Jin, don't feel desperate. You still have your family, and your other friends. We can't substitute Magda, we know that, but we care about you too."

CD put her hand on Nate's when he talked about himself being addicted once. "You can count on us, Jinny!"

Not only Nate's confession shocked her. All they were talking about was her drinking and how worried they had been. "I... I just... I couldn't go back to that empty appartment anymore. I thought Jack was the big prize, ya know? Married to a guy who's an alcoholic too, who seemed to understand me... everything seemed so perfect. He always said he loved me... but now I'm not even sure he ever did. And I know I never loved him either. I just... I needed somebody. And he came along... I guess that's all that was to it. And I wanted to talk to Magda... to tell her how I feel. To tell her I realized that Jack was an excuse. That I never had the love I knew I had with... ya know..." She still couldn't really talk about Teddy and everything that had happened. "And now... now everything there remids me of Jack." She made a face at that. "I'd move back to my dad again... but he lives with Ronnie now. So I guess I'll just have to find a new appartment." She sighed and shrugged and took a deep breath.

"Hey Jin, no matter what, we're here for you." Nate said. "And as for the new appartments, I mean hey, if worst comes to worst you two can always bunk out on my couch, eh?" He rubbed his neck. "But I keep my bed. Sleeping on CD's couch last night is killing my back already."

Jinny chuckled at that. "You're getting old my friend" She teased him and was glad that nothing weird had happened the night before and no one had used her drunk state to get laid and even though it still was hard to believe it seemed as if she had some friends who were true friends after all and not self-centered whores.

CD nudged her ellbow into his side. "Hey, nothing against my couch, right?" She grinned in a way that had two meanings which only Nate could understand.

"Hey ouch" Nate rubbed the spot where she had nudged him. "Okay.. I love your couch CD. You have the mostest wonderfullest couch ever, alright?" He smirked back at her.

"Yeah, I thought so too." She grinned back. When she looked through her apartment while sipping her coffee, she saw the letter of her landlord again and suddenly she got an idea. That would be the best way to help Jinny too. "Uhm Jinny, about this whole 'getting-a-new-apartment' thing, I mean, why don't we two get an apartment together since my landlord threw me out yesterday?"

"What?" Jinny looked at her confused. Then she smiled. "You mean like roommates? You and me move in together? Split the rent and all?"

"Yes, I just got the idea! And someone would be always around to be there for you!" CD said and was really happy about the idea. The only disturbing thing was that she and Nate had to be even more cautiously.

Nate realized that too but smiled. He knew that being alone most of the time was the hardest part of fighting an addiction. And Jinny had already pretty much said that if she hadn't been all alone she wouldn't have started to drink the night before.

Jinny smiled. "Yeah I like that idea I think."

"Great" she hugged Jinny. "So we'll take this afternoon off and go and seek an apartment for us!" Then CD realized that if she and Jinny took the afternoon off, Nate would have have to work together with Magda. He wouldn't like that. "Okay, Jinny. Breakfast will be ready in about 15 minutes. You wanna take a shower?"

She nodded. "Yeah." She couldn't believe it but she actually was happy. "Hey... uh... do you mind if I use your phone? I gotta call Dusty... ya know, the guy from AA." He wasn't officially her sponsor anymore but the thing that came closest to it. "I think I should go to a meeting... collect a new chip..." Then she realized they probably didn't know what that meant. "Because everytime you fall off the wagon and decide to go to AA again you get a chip... I mean.. it's part of the program and all. I guess it helps a little." She still wasn't buying the whole 'AA crap' completely but she had to admit that sometimes she really needed the meetings.

"Sure, go ahead. The phone is in the living room!" CD answered.

"Thanks guys... for everything" Jinny smiled at them and left to call Dusty.

CD made sure that Jinny couldn't see them. Then she turned to Nate and kissed him slightly. "I'm sorry that you're gonna have to work with Magda this afternoon ..." she said after breaking the kiss.

"Uhm, yeah, sorry. That doesn't make it easier for us. I mean, Jinny needs someone she's familiar with around her ... " CD bit her lower lip.

Nate nodded and kissed her. "God you're so cute when you do that." He whispered and stroked through her hair. "And we'll manage... I mean there's still my place if we need to be alone. I mean to talk.. or something... one day..." He blushed.

"And you're so cute when you don't know how to express yourself in private stuff." CD teased him. She stroked his cheeks where he had just blushed a second ago and looked straight into his eyes.

He grinned and wanted to kiss her again but saw Jinny walk back in.

"Hey, I uhhh I took some of your clothes." Jinny announced as she walked back in, wearing a pair of CD's jeans and a black shirt.

"That's fine, Jinny. Just make yourself comfortable. Breakfast is ready. Enjoy it!" CD said.

Jin smiled and started to devour the food.

Nate grinned. "Hey I'm gonna head back home and to work then okay? I'll make sure you two girls don't have to show up there today." He was tempted to kiss CD but knew he had to fight it.

"Okay, Nate. But you better get on your jeans." CD grinned. "Unless you don't wanna be the cause for the brand new gossip in the office." Then she stood up to accompany him to the door where Jinny couldn't see them.

"hrm... uhh yeah." He cleared his throat and quickly got dressed into his jeans again. He pulled CD out into the hallway with him a little to make sure Jinny really wouldn't be able to see them. "Woman, I swear you're driving me crazy." He teased her.

CD just smiled. "I take that as a compliment."

"You better." He pulled her close and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. "I...." He kissed her again. "...really..." and kissed her again "....gotta..." This time his hands wandered down her back and gently cupped her ass as he kissed her yet again. "....go."

"Hey, that's mine!" CD protested but loved the way behaved. "But then go, buddy!" She slammed his ass slightly.

CD was still pretty surprised by his last action when she reentered the kitchen. She took her coffee and seemed a thousand miles away.

That's ok. I cried too. I keep watching it over and over again and I still cry. Call me crazy but when I saw the season finale for the first time, I actually fell to the floor when she got shot. It was horrible. Anyways, that should cheer you up! Keep posting!!!!!

Jinny was still happy. "Hey Dusty said he has a friend who knows a place that's vacant. He said he'd call me back with the number. It's a loft. Potrero Hill...." She noticed CD was lost in thoughts. "So what took you guys so long out there? Did Nate get lost on the way out?"

"Uh ... what? Sorry, just thought about the fact of moving out here." She lied, actually she'd been thinking of Nate and that she couldn't wait to see him again. "What did you say?"

The phone rang. "Dusty... I bet that's him." She answered it. "Exstead... Nate is that you? What? No this is not Chihuahua's Chinese Chicken restaurant... hey... hey whoever you are! STOP ordering fried dogs!" She slammed the phone down, shuddered and made a disguisted face.

"Who was it?" CD asked.

"Some whacko... I mean first I thought he sounded like Nate... but then he ordered fried dog steak and chicken legs or something. He thought this is the number to Chihuahua's Chinese Chicken... where you get REAL chinese food." She shuddered again.

"Oh my God" CD asnwered. "Some coffee?" She hoped that Jinny wouldn't get back to the question about what took her and Nate so long but started to wonder if it really had been a jerk or Nate pulling a prank.

The phone rang again. "This better be Dusty." She said and then answered. "Dusty... yeah! Yeah sure... okay 23rd street at Minnesota. 1011 #6. Got it. Thanks." She scribbled it down and grinned at CD. "yes... yeah. As soon as we're done there. I promise I'll come to the meeting. I'll see ya then." She hung up again.

"And? What do we have?" CD was curious since it sounded like they possibly had an apartment.

Jinny handed her the slip of paper. "Like I just told you... a loft. Potrero Hill, wanna go check it out?"

"Definitely, but first of all I need to change. Can't go there in my sleeping stuff." She grinned. "I'll be right back!" She rushed out of the kitchen and changed as fast as she could.

After a while she walked back in. "Here I am again. Ready to go!" She got her keys.

"Whoa. You're eager." Jinny grinned but she was too. "Let's go then" She followed CD.

They drove a while but finally they were there. "Wow", was all CD could say. "If it's as good on the inside as it looks on the outside, it's perfect!"

Jinny nodded and then a woman arrived. "Are you the two interested in this loft?"

"Yes, we are. Exstead and DeLorenzo." CD introduced them.

Jinny nodded. "Hi."

The woman smiled and led them inside and showed them everything. "This sunny, top-floor loft has fantastic views and all-day sunshine! Common roof-deck offers BBQ grill and patio furniture with views of the Bay. The Tri-level floor plan is offering an excellent separation of space." She said and started the tour by showing them the gas fireplace in the living area which was surrounded by a painted accent wall. "The all-day exposure is offering terrific natural light." She said as they approached the corner unit with 2 walls of windows and great views. "Floor-to-ceiling windows with coverings are included of course." She continued and then they went up the straight staircase with metal rail detailing where she showed them the second gas fireplace on third level that was creating a cozy room and then she showed them the large private bath. "The bathrooms are tiled with marble and granite accents and there's good closet space throughout. As you can see there are maple hardwood floors, carpet in mezzanine, upgraded overhead lighting throughout."

CD and Jinny followed her into the U-Shaped kitchen with cherry and glass cabinetry. She smiled at them as she continued to point out various things. "Here we have an attractive and convenient granite breakfast bar in kitchen: perfect for entertaining!" She winked at them. "The kitchen includes: Stainless steel refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven/range and garbage disposal." She listed all the things they saw there. "Oh and by the way. The building offers exercise room with equipment off of lobby. I can show you that too later. And here's the Washer/Dryer in loft." She quickly showed them that and then explained the building was secure with intercom/telephone entry system."

"Yeah we know this stuff." Jinny said.

The real estate woman raised her eyebrow at them upon that comment and CD showed her badge. "We're cops. So we know security systems." She explained.

"Wow. I never met a cop before." She was impressed. "And I never would have thought that. I mean you two don't look like cops."

Jinny just rolled her eyes and CD chuckled.

Then they walked up to the roof deck with panoramic views and BBQ. The woman pointed in a fe directions from there. "You have easy access to freeway 280 & 101, downtown SF, the Financial district, Pac Bell Park & the Embarcadero. It's also convenient to all modes of public transportation." With that she finished her speech and the tour.

"Wow, that's just perfect. What do you think, Jinny?" CD was stunned.

Jinny grinned. "I love it! It's perfect! It's like made for us!"

"Yeah, do we take it?" CD asked.

"Sure thing." Jinny nodded. "Where do we sign?"

CD smiled. This was all too perfect. First Nate, then this!

The woman smiled and handed her a contract. Jinny signed it and handed it to CD. "You can move in right away." The friendly brunette said.

CD signed it too. "Wow, that's so great!" CD hugged Jinny.

Jinny hugged her back. "I know! I mean we live together but we still have our privacy here and everything."

"Yeah, everyone has his own bath- and bedroom. Thats' so great ... Hey, I'll call Nate. He can help us move in here instantly." She took out her cell phone and dialled Nates number at the division.

Jinny nodded. "And I'll recruit Casey. I can't wait to move in here"

"Me neither" CD answered grinning.

Nate answered his phone. "Basso" He sounded pissed. Working with Magda was hell. Well actually what pissed him off was that he had seen her for five minutes and she had said 'hello' and 'be right back' and he still was waiting for her to come back. He had done most of the work alone so far.

"Hey sweety, it's me." CD whispered so that Jinny wouldn't hear her. "How are you?"

"Fuming. But it's sure good to hear your voice." He smiled instantly. "What's going on?"

"Jinny and I are moving. We have an apartment which is just perfect and I'll recruit you to help me move in here." She grinned too now.

"Hey that's great! Wow, that was fast! But wow! I'll tell cap and come over. Meet at your place in half an hour?"

"Okay, sounds good to me. See you there." She kissed the phone and hung up. Then she adressed her friend. "Hey Jinny. Nate will be over at my apartment in half an hour."

Jinny grinned. "Great. Hey can you drop me off at my place? That way I can go to a meeting then and Casey will meet me in an hour, he's helping me too."

"Sure, fine. We both have a key for this aparment now." She grinned again cause she was so happy.

Half an hour later she stopped at her old apartment. Some minutes ago she had dropped Jinny off at her place.

Nate was waiting there already but he had hidden. Then he sneaked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair out of her neck and started to assault her with sweet kisses right away.

"Wow, hey Mister. Take it slow!" CD giggled. He was such a sweetheart. "What if Jinny was with me now?"

"But she isn't" He whispered against her skin and kissed along her hairline to the other side of her neck. "God you taste so good." His hands slipped under her shirt again and he slightly caressed the soft skin of her waist

"But she could have been ..." CD whispered. The touch of his hands sent shivers through her body as it always did when he was touching her. "We better go inside, unless we want to be seen by my neighbors." She got out her keys and led him in.

He followed her and turned her around so she was facing him. "Come here you." He pulled her into his embrace.

After closing the door CD turned around and kissed him like they hadn't seen each other for years.

As they had to break for air he took a deep breath, burying his head in her hair. "Okay, I have a quiz for you... what comes from Puerto Rico and starts with b and ends with 'itch' but scratching doesn't make it go away?"

CD grinned: "Our belove little bitch Magda?"

"You got it. She of course blames Jack for everything. That if he hadn't left Jinny she wouldn't have started to drink. And she has her own life and already has a son she has to take care of and can't play babysitter for Jinny too." He rolled his eyes.

"Since when does she care about Ben? I mean she's working all time if she isn't visiting someones bed. He's always at a friend or Gabe ... ya know?" CD said already looking for some boxes where she could put in her things.

Nate nodded and followed her. "Let's not talk about her now. I gave her a piece of my mind and don't give a damn what she thinks."

CD grinned. "What did you actually tell her?" She found some suitcase where she put all her clothes in, one piece after another while she talked to Nate.

"That she's a selfish slut and that I don't give a damn if she's a woman or not, if she ever does something like that to Jin again I'd beat her up." He said. "I mean... I wouldn't really beat her up.... but a friend of mine is a big tough boxer..." He winked at her.

He'd made her laugh. "Yeah, do I look so fat?" She grinned. "But I'm feeling honored that you would let me do that job if you're afraid to do it yourself." CD smirked and turned to the next cupboard.

"Of course. I need my partner to protect me." He winked at her and sat down on her bed.

She now stood directly in front of ihm and looked down on him. "And what about asking?" she said in a low and sexy tone.

He grinned and then looked right at her shirt, not into her face, at the shirt. "Alright... I've never talked to a shirt before... but oh well... ya know, I'd do anything for CD. So now what exactly is the magic phrase to open the door to the biggest treasue on earth?" He still looked at her shirt, all serious.

CD stroked through his hair with her hand. He was so cute. "Mhm, I guess it was a kiss as far as I remember." She answered grinning.

"Your wish is my command." He whispered and leaned forward and kissed her right in between two buttons of her shirt, knowing her belly button was underneath that spot.

She giggled. "Yeah, that was the phrase" she whispered and slowly opened her shirt, button after button.

He swallowed a little and watched her. "Oh god.... you're so beautiful" He whispered, unable to take his eyes off her.

Now completly topless just wearing her bra she sat down across his lap facing him. She blushed a little by his words and then kissed him.

"Yeah, I did. It's all very sudden. Don't you think?" She wasn't very pleased with him throwing her out though he had a good reason to. But there were also some others living here who could have been thrown out.

He shrugged. "Yeah well it's not my fault. So how soon are you out of here?"

"I'm already out of here. I'm just collecting my last few things. Why?" She slightly glared at him.

"Great. The whole place needs to get redecorated and refurnished for my daughter of course." He answered. "Leave the keys in the mailbox when you go." With that he turned around again and walked away.

"Idiot." CD slammed the door shut behind him. Then she went back to Nate.

Nate had overheard it and sighed when she walked back inside. He had found her shirt and was wearing that now. Just to cheer her up. "Look... cute, eh? I can't wait to try on your underwear and your shoes." He joked and winked at her, just wanting her to smile again.

She smiled again. He was so cute wearing her shirt. "It fit's you perfectly." She grinnend. "Want a bra?"

He cringed as she actually offered him that. "Uhhhh some other time. I'm afraid we have to start packing eh?" He sighed.

"Yeah" she sighed. "He wants me out as soon as possible now."

"What a jerk." Nate sighed. "But you have a great new place already"

"Yeah, you'll like it!" So she went on packing her sutff still wearing his shirt. "Uhm, besides you were here for working not flirting!" She smirked.

He sighed. "I can't beleive I'm your slave already." But he started to pack all her her stuff too. "I think you need some more boxes..."

"Yeah, wait a second. A neighbor of mine had borrowed some of me some weeks ago. I'll be right back. K?" She kissed him and left to get some more boxes. She had luck. Her neighbor was there and gave her the boxes. With them she retourned to Nate. "We're nearly done." She looked around in her apartment which was looking pretty empty now.

He kissed her temple and helped her pack up the rest of her stuff. He then walked to her fridge and got a can of coke out of it that he had kept in there til the end. He opened it and took a sip and then offered it to her. "To new beginnings."

She smiled and took a sip too. "Yeah, two new beginnings." She smiled and was the happiest person ever. "Wow, and that just happened within a week." Slowly she walked over to Nate and just stopped right in front of him, their bodys nearly touching. "Uhm, what do you think about getting my stuff over to the new apartment and then I'll show you the apartment. The bed is very comfortable." She smirked.

"Is that so?" He grinned back. "And Jin?"

"Oh, she has a meeting. She shouldn't be back so soon." Her forefinger was moving up and down his chest.

"Then what are we waiting for?" He kissed her passionately before taking a big box. "I like the new beginnings"

"Me too." CD grinned and half an hour later they had brought all her stuff over to her aparment. "And, what do you say?" CD proudly asked after showing Nate every room.

Nate grinned. "Wow, this place is amazing! I'm jealous!"

"I take that as a 'I'll be here more often than at my own place' ... And don't you dare if not!!!" She said grinning.

He grinned back. "Oh you bet." He then picked her up and carried her into the bedroom.

"Hey ... " she protested although she liked it. When they were in her bedroom she started tickling him, trying to find out where he was most ticklish.

"Hey!" He protested and started to giggle and squirm. "Ohhh wait!" He grabbed her and tossed her onto the bed.

"You don't like this?" She grinned and tickled him even more. Then she rolled over so that she was on top. That was the best way to tickle him. He had no real chance to defend himself.

He put his hands in the air. "Okay okay, you win! I surrender!"

She took his wrists and pulled them above his head. Then she lowered her head and kissed him. "Now I know a good method how I can make you do whatever I want." She grinned.

"Ooooh baby, I already do that." He grinned at her.

"Soooo, that would be the chance for me to find you something funny to do." She looked down and saw that he was still wearing her shirt. "What about staying over night since you're already wearing my clothes?"

"Yeah but just because you're wearing mine!" He protested. "And just for the record... I'd LOVE to stay tonight." He sighed. But how do you wanna explain that your roomie?"

"Mhm, good question though ... " That was the problem if you lived together with someone who was not allowed to know about you and your lover.

"Wow, Jin. That apartment is great. I would move in right away." Casey grinned and looked around. "You had so much luck!"

"It's okay." He whispered. "Not your fault." He quickly kissed her again. "You go ahead and go out there... I need to go to the bathroom and..." He looked down. "They don't have to see you gave me a boner."

CD smirked. "Would have been interesting to hear Jinny comment about it." She kissed him quickly and then left the room. "Hey Jinny, we're up here. We just came in with my stuff."

Jin smiled at her. "Great. You two remember each other, right? Nate here too?"

"Hi CD. Great that you and Jinny are moving in together. And the apartment is wonderful." Casey said.

"Hi Casey. Yeah, Nate's here too. He's in the bathroom. How was the meeting?" CD asked Jinny.

Jinny smiled. "It was great. Of course... Dusty, ya know, he checked for meetings around this area so we went to one that's closeby. The people there seemed to be okay too... I mean no psyched freaks yet... unless I'd count myself." She joked.

CD grinned and hugged her. "Great that you're feeling better now. I'm so happy to live with you together from now on."

"You sure you wanna do that? Move in with a screwed up alcoholic who has a divorce coming up?" Jinny knew that CD's main reason for suggesting to move in together wasn't that they'd split the money but that she wasn't alone anymore. But she was glad. She knew she needed a friend to help her through everything now.

"Yeah, I'm sure about this. And I'll always be there for you okay?" She smiled. "So, what about getting part of our stuff already unpacked? We won't get everything done today but part of I think."

Jinny nodded and motioned to a couple of boxes. "Case, can you start with that?"

At that moment Nate walked out again, he had rummaged through CD's clothes and found a shirt that looked like it could be his too so he was wearing that now. "Hey guys."

"Uhm, Jin, sorry ... I would love to but .... I have a date in 30 minutes and I mean you still have a strong man here." Casey mentioned over to Nate now. "So, would you mind me leaving now?"

CD turned around to see Nate standing there wearing her shirt. She giggled slightly and hoped that Jinny wouldn't recall it as her's.

Jin shook her head and hugged him. "No, go ahead, have fun. Is it serious? Since when do you know him?" She inquired though.

Nate slightly tugged at the shirt and then pointed at her, where Jinny couldn't see it, to tell her she was wearing his again which was why he was wearing hers.

"We just met ... that is our first date. I'll tell you everything tomorrow. okay?" He hugged his sister. "Bye folks!" and left.

CD looked down at the shirt she was wearing and realized that it was really his. Now they had a problem. Hopefully Jinny wouldn't realize it.

Jinny then smiled at them. "So where do we start? Kitchen?" She thought they were behaving a little odd but the whole situation was still new for them too.

"I thought everyone starts with her own stuff and if it's something for example for the kitchen he just places it there." CD said.

Jinny nodded. "Yeah sure, great." She took a box and went into her room.

Nate took another huge box that actally was Jinny's and followed her with it. "I figured since CD doesn't let me play strong man here I could help you with this." He put it down and smiled at her.

"Thanks Nate." She smiled back. "It's great that you're helping us."

"Sure thing... I mean not that I wanted to, but ya know CD... she said this is a partnerly duty and I had no choice." He joked.

CD had followed him. "I heard that ... When actually did I say I won't let you play strong man here? I mean 'play' would be the right word for it 'cause I see no strong man around here!" She grinned. "And you gonna pay for this 'no-choice' thingie." CD smirked and left to get her own stuff unpacked. So she was back in her bedroom and was about to put her clothes into the closet.

"See? What'd I say?" Nate asked and then raised his voice so CD would hear his next comment. "You're completely crazy for wanting to move in with blondie there"

Jin laughed. "Go help your partner before she kicks your ass. I can handle everything from here."

CD grinned. Oh she would love to let him pay for that too when they were alone again.

Nate smiled at her again. "Sure, but if you need help, just holler, okay?"

"Nate I'm fine, now get out of here!" She chuckled. They both were cute but she really didn't need help with everything.

Grinning Nate left and walked back to CD.

Nate held it up as high as he could. "Nuh uh. Teddy wants to stay with Nate." He grinned.

"No, he doesn't!" CD started chasing after Nate. "Give teddy back to me! He feels uncomfortable around men!"

"Not around me" Nate grinned and kicked his shoes off and jumped on her bed. "Teddy and I are having fun here"

"Hey, if you don't give him back to me, Teddy will be the only one having fun on this bed from now on!" CD grinned and jumped on the bed too.

"Oh really? I bet you you want me in this bed again before the day is over. But I'm the one who wont give in then! There!" He stuck his tongue out at her and jumped off the bed and ran outside. "Where's Teddy now, eh?" He called out.

"Who had to go to the bathroom an hour ago?" She shouted after him and followed him. "Give Teddy back to me, come on, Nate!"

Jinny looked up when she was sure she had heard Nate ask her about Teddy. "What?" She wondered why he would bring him up so out of the blue and walked outside just in time to see Nate jump over the couch.... holding a teddy... the plushy fuzzy kind... high above his head and CD chasing him.

"Nate, would you please ... ?" CD said still running after him.

"So? Everybody needs a bathroom every now and then!" Nate smirked and jumped down from the couch again and ran up the stairs that led to the nice little roof deck. "Teddy wants to learn to fly!" He called out.

"Nate, don't you dare ... " Somehow she panicked. That gave her strenghth once more and finally she got him. Lika a football player she pushed him down on the ground, not hard, the soft version and she herself landed on him. "Will you give me Teddy back now?" she asked smiling.

"And they call me crazy." Jinny muttered and followed them.

"You wanna play football? Okay." Nate grinned and tossed Teddy at Jinny who caught the poor little thing. "Aww how cute. So this is Teddy, eh?" She had to grin and thought she only knew one Teddy who she thought was cuter.

"Aw." CD was frustrated now so she softly slammed Nates belly. Then she got up. "Yeah, that's Teddy, for God's sake. Can I have him back now please?"

Jinny just handed him over. "I have a stuffed wolf still." She confessed.

That made CD smile again. "Really? Cute!!!"

"Mine's a horse." Nate grinned and got up and rubbed his belly. "And that hurt!"

"It should have" CD answered and went back to her bedroom. She wasn't done with her stuff yet.

Jinny laughed and shook her head. "I feel like I'm babysitting Ben here.... no wait... you two are worse." She teased them before going back into her own room and once there put out her wolf and hugged him, a broad grin plastered on her face. She couldn't believe it but she was happy. And one thing was certain they'd have a lot of fun here together, she just knew it. Though somehow she wondered why it felt like Nate was moving in with them too.

A few hours later they were drinking a coke together in their kitchen. "I can't believe we actually finished all of this." Jinny grinned.

"Yeah." CD sipped her coke while she glanced through the apartment. "It looks so perfect!"

Nate nodded. "Yeah it got pretty late though... I should head back home" He glanced over at CD for a split second and then took a deep sip of his coke, not wanting to leave yet.

CD also didn't want him to leave so once again she went with him to the entrance of the apartment.

"Can't you stay?" She begged him with her eyes.

"I want to.... you have no idea how much." He sighed.

"Gimme the idea ... " she whispered.

He didn't need to hear that twice and pressed her against the doorframe and gave her the most thorough dental checkup ever.

CD felt his strong hands and enjoyed every second of the kiss although she knew that Jinny could come down here any second.

Then they had to break the kiss for air again and he looked deep into her eyes. "We'll see each other again tomorrow, right? We can do this... I go home, we both get some sleep, then we'll see each other again... a few hours apart... we'll survive." He said reassuringly but didn't even believe his own words.

"I don't think so .. I'm addicted ... " She said. "Uhm, by the way, don't you wanna have your shirt back? I'm mean I think you're cute in mine but out on the street it could lead to misunderstandings." CD grinned and had already taken off the shirt she was wearing.

"Whoa baby. You're giving me thoughts I shouldn't have right now." He whispered but handed her her own shirt back.

"You mean standing topless in front of you right here? You have a problem with it?" CD smirked and still didn't put the shirt on.

"Oh god... don't tempt me Candace." He whispered and leaned in to steal another passionate kiss from her.

CD grinned and kissed him back. When they stopped to breathe she put her shirt on as well. "Better this way?"

"No." He sighed and gently and quickly kissed her lips. "Come with me." He knew she couldn't leave Jinny alone now but he wanted her to be with him.

"There's nothing else on earth which I would rather do than to be with you, but I can't leave Jinny, not tonight." She sighed too and her eyes got this sad look.

"I know baby." he sighed. "But I can't stay either." He leaned his forehead against hers. "Hey, take your cellphone with you to bed. Turn the sound off. I'll call you later, okay?"

"Okay ... " she smiled. "Thanks for everything!" Her lips met his again but just for a second.

"Hey partners, right... sure thing." He smiled and pulled her close to kiss her again. He knew they'd see each other again in just a few hours but it felt like an eternity

She hugged him tight and sighed. "I guess Jinny will be suspicious when I'm away with you for so long."

"Yeah." He sighed. "One last kiss and I'm gone." He whispered and kissed her in a way that made her crave for more already and then forced himself to turn around and walk away. But he turned around again and smiled at her and blew her a kiss before he walked out completely.

CD sighed. This last kiss had made her knees go weak. She caught his blown kiss with her hand and put it right to her heart. Then she turned around and went back to the kithcn, where Jinny was waiting for her.

Jinny looked at her with raised eyebrow. "Did you walk him home or what? Is that normal that you guys take ages before you actually say goodbye?"

CD blushed slightly. "We ... uhm just had to talk about a case quickly and how we'll proceed, ya know?"

"Oh yeah, Mag and I do that too sometimes... when she isn't in a rush to go one place or the other." She rolled her eyes, still holding a grudge against her.

"Hey, what about relaxing on our roof deck? The sun will set soon and it must be beautiful to watch it!" CD said glad that Jinny believed her.

"Sure." She smiled and they went up there and sat down. "So... you and your partner... you two are pretty tight, eh?" Jinny always had thought she and Mag were close friends but CD and Nate really were one entity.

"Well, uhm, yeah, we work together and we're kinda best friends." CD wished that she could tell Jinny about her relationship. But it was still too early.

Jinny nodded and smiled. "He's a great guy.

"He definitely is." 'And he's the best kisser on earth', she was about to add but bit her lip.

She grinned. "And good looking too..." She looked at CD from the side.

"Yeah ... " CD grinned.

"Ever been tempted?" Jinny grinned.

"Uhm ... " CD wasn't sure what to say now. "Well, you know, if you work so close with someone you don't think about that ... "

"Yeah I guess." She shrugged and suddenly the doorbell rang. "I'll get it."

"Okay ... " CD was glad that they were interupted since she didn't know what to say.

Jinny went and opened the door. She was surprised to find Nate standing there. "Already missing us? Or did you forget something?"

Grinning broadly Nate held a huge pizza box out to her. "I figured you two must be hungry." He walked in again, passing Jinny. "Can't let my girls starve here the first evening already."

"Wow, that's cool, Nate. Thank you!" Jinny said and went to the kitchen, getting a knife and some plates. "CD is outside on the roof deck."

"I'll tell her I got dinner." He smiled. "Oh and I rented this." He handed Jinny a DVD. "Just hope one of you has a DVD player now..."

"Yeah, I have one." Jinny grinned. "I'll set things up in the living room. Just get CD, okay?"

"Sure." He smiled his typical grin at her and then walked up to where CD was. Quietly he sneaked up to her from behind and covered her eyes with one hand, standing behind her. He stroked her hair aside with the other one and kissed her neck.

CD first startled by the touch of someones hand but the she realized that it was Nate. Her whole face lighted up. "Hey, what are you doing here? Didn't you just leave?"

"Who me?" He asked innocently and uncovered her eyes again and turned her around and kissed the top of her nose. "Came back... with pizza. Jinny's setting up the table."

"Already missing us, mhm?" She said and kissed him quickly because she wouldn't want Jinny to see them.

"Oh yeah." He kissed her again.

"Hey guys it's set up." Jinny called out and put some sodas on the table in front of the couch. She hadn't even noticed how hungry she was, so the pizza was a nice surprise.

"Ok, let's go." CD took his hand and they both went inside. When they came near the livingroom she let go of his hand. "Don't wanna give Jinny a hint since she's already very suspicious."

"She is? Damn." He sighed and realized they'd have to be even more careful now.

CD and Nate entered the livingroom and CD instantly jumped on the sofa. "So, what are we going to watch? And what kinda pizza did you get us, Nate?"

Nate sat down next to her and Jinny put the DVD in. "He rented 'We Were Soldiers'" She said as she sat down next to CD on the other side and grinned. "I love Mel Gibson. I mean he's no Brad Pitt, but his eyes are amazing."

"Mhm, I don't know. I find other eyes more attractive like for example ... " CD touched Nates arm but didn't say his name. "Don't know a good one at the moment."

Nate smiled to himself. "I'd give ya my opinion if I had one... but to be honest... Mel Gibson isn't quite my type." He laughed and took a slice of pizza and started to munch.

"You don't go for guys?" CD grinned while grabbing a slice of the pizza too. "And I thought that was the reason why you hadn't had a relationship with a woman for long time." She smirked.

"Long time? I thought he and Lily just broke up or am I missing something here?" Jinny asked.

"That was just fake to hide his real intentions ... " CD grinned.

Nate started to feel a little awkward now because that was exactly what it had been. He had wanted CD all along, and Lily had known, but she hadn't cared. He knew it was a mistake to date Lily but he couldn't make it undone now. "I hope the pizza's okay... I figured if I get one with pretty much every topping you all have something that you like... I mean I figured you're both hungry after a long day. And I can't let my girls starve here, right?" He quickly changed the topic.

"Your girls?" Jinny grinned and raised her eyebrow.

Nate nodded. "Yeah. I mean since CD's my partner and you're her roomie now... that makes you my... partner's rommie. So you're my girls and I gotta take care of you two." He grinned.

"Ohhhh I see" Jinny chuckled. "That's where your macho male ego kicks in and you go 'me tarzan, you jane and tarzan has to protect jane." She teased him.

Nate laughed. "Well actually ME Tarzan and YOU Jane..." Then he looked at CD. "And you Cheetah."

"Excuse me???" CD protested playfully. "Do I look like a monkey?" Then she turned to Jinny: "I'm sorry I did something wrong in his 'upbringing'."

"Shut up Cheetah." He laughed.

Jinny laughed too. "Yeah, you need to teach him manners."

"Oh you ... "She started tickling him again like she'd done before they'd been interrupted by her landlord. So she knew all the 'hot spots'.

He squirmed and started to tickle her back "HEY! Stop that!"

"Why should I?" She giggled and fought his 'attacks' by tickling more intensive.

Jinny laughed. "I think I'm gonna start watching the movie." She wasn't used to something like this, but it scared her that she thought she'd like to get used to a friendship this close.

"Hey, I wanna watch it too!" CD said. "Help me with 'Tarzan' and the movie is all ours."

"Sure I'll get my gun." Jinny said and started to get up.

"Hey hey whoa... Tarzan surrenders." He put his hands up.

"Good for you, buddy." CD grinnend and now leanded her head upon his shoulder without even thinking about it. She just wanted to enjoy the movie together with Nate and Jinny.

Jinny laughed and continued to munch her pizza as they watched.

Later that night, the movie was already over, the three friends were sleeping on the sofa all curled up with each other. Nate was half lying on the couch and CD was cuddled close to him. And Jinny had her head leaning against CD. They looked like a bunch of dominos that had fallen over.

CD woke up when she began to feel cold. It took her some time to realize where she was but all the memories came back immediately. She found herself snuggled close to Nate who was sleeping. And Jinny had her head lying on CD's back and she was sleeping too. CD smiled at that and was now wondering how to get out without waking the others.

Nate felt something stir on top of him and opened his eyes too and smiled when he realized they must have fallen asleep during the movie sometime. "Hey." He whispered.

CD turned her head and saw Nate opening his eyes. "Hey" she whispered back.

He looked at Jinny and smiled because she was still sound asleep and cuddling close to CD. "This feels like family." He whispered.

"Yeah and I like it very much." She leaned over and softly kissed him.

He gently kissed her back but soon the kiss deepened again.

Jinny felt some movement and groaned a little in her sleep, starting to wake up too.

CD quickly broke the kiss although she'd enjoyed it very much. She sighed and stroked Jinny's hair.

Jinny woke up completely at that. "Hey... I must've fallen asleep. Sorry." She quickly straightened up again.

"Hey, doesn't matter. We were too. This whole move out move in thingie got us pretty worn out." CD answered and "woke" her leg which had been fallen asleep too.

Jinny nodded and looked at a clock. "Damn it's 4 am already!"

"We should go to bed now .. " CD yawned.

"And me?" Nate asked crankily. "It's cold outside! And dark! And I'm tired!"

Jinny smiled and got a blanket and tossed it at him. "Then stay"

"Yeah, stay since you have to look over 'your girls'." CD grinned.

"Yeah." He grinned. "Gotta scare the monsters away."

"Yeah you do that." Jinny smiled and hugged both CD and Nate. "Night guys."

"Night, sleep well!" CD said and waited until Jinny was in her bedroom. "Soooo ..."

"Sooo I guess I'm staying." He smiled and arranged the blanket on the couch so it looked like he had been sleeping there. "If Jin sees that she'll think I just went to the bathroom, that should work, or?"

"You're so clever, 'Tarzan'." CD grinned, took his hand and lead him to her own bedroom.

"Don't call me that." He made a face and followed her.

"Hey, who called who that way and compared me to a monkey?" She said and closed the door behind them. Then she walked up to him and let her hands run up and down his chest.

"Jinny started that. And Cheetah was a joke. Apart from that. Cheetah is not only cute but also very intelligent. So it fits you. And now shut up about that, okay?"

Her reponse was a soft and tender kiss. "Okay .... uhm, hey, I'm kinda really tired so if you don't have something else on your mind I would love to get some sleep. It would look supicious if we both entered the division looking like we haven't slept the night before, right?" She smiled.

He kissed her back. "Yeah I'm tired too." He kicked off his shoes and kissed her behind her earlobe. "I can help you undress though if you want." He whispered innocently.

"You have been waiting for that haven't you?" She said enticing. "But I would love you to do ... "

He smiled. "It's my dream come true." He gently kissed her and then slowly and carefully started to undress her, enjoying it but keeping it innocent. He stopped when she was still wearing her bra and panties.

CD grinned and said: "Hey, ya know, it's not pretty comfortable to sleep with a bra ... " She'd raised one eyebrow. Then she stepped closer. "And you're way too overdressed here ... " she whispered softly. She then stripped him out of he clothes until he was just wearing his boxers. "That's way better ... " She smiled and kissed him.

He smiled. "Now I want you to be comfortable of course" He whispered and slowly unhooked her bra and slid the straps off her shoulders and kissed both shoulders where sth straps had been.

"That's more comfortable." She said and pulled him softly on her bed now. They were lying close to each other and CD had her hands wandering all over his body. Then she rested on his chest.

He gently kissed her and wrapped a blanket around them and held her close. "Sweet dreams my love." He whispered.

She snuggled even closer. "You too!" She kissed him once more.

Holding her he soon fell asleep again and knew that this was meant to be forever.

Anyhow, she's really busy with her studies and university and the new city and all at the moment. I'm assuming that's why she didn't have the time to post more on her other fic yet. But here's more for this one :)

In the next morning CD woke up by the sound of her alarm clock. She switched it off and turned around to continue to sleep.

Nate woke up too and as she turned around he scooted closer to her and wrapped his arms around her closer, snuggling against her back.

CD moaned happily. She loved waking up with Nate. "Hey, morning. I guess ... we have to get up ... " She sighed.

"I refuse" He muttered and buried his head in her neck.

"What if Jinny finds you here? And when we're late for work the Cap's gonny kick our asses." She didn't want to get up either but they had no real choice.

"Don't care." He said stubbornly and turned her around in his arms. "I want a kiss."

CD grinned. "What if I say 'no'?" But she didn't wait for his answer and kissed him softly.

He kissed her back. "In this case I want you to say 'no' again" He grinned.

"Okay ... " She kissed him again, more passionately now.

He deepend the kiss and put his hand on her thigh, stroking it gently.

At that moment there was a soft knock on the door. "CD? You awake already?"

"Oh no." CD said. "Uhm, yeah, but .. eh ... wait a second. Okay?" Then she whispered over to Nate. "You gotta hide and your clothes too!" She jumped up and started collecting his stuff.

Nate quickly grabbed his stuff from her and tossed it under the bed and hid under it himself then.

CD got her bathrobe and wrapped it around herself. "Okay, come in."

Jinny entered and smiled at her. "I love this place. I haven't slept this good in years." She announced happily.

"Yeah me neither! That was the best sleep I ever had." But CD wasn't sure if it was because of the house or because of male person lying under her bed.

"I'm glad" Jin smiled. "Anyhow, I'm gonna go get some breakfast, okay? And I guess Nate's in your bathroom. At least he's not on the couch anymore. "

"Okay .. yeah, where else should he be instead?" CD grinned.

She shrugged. "Went home maybe, but I don't think he did. Uhhh, any special wishes for breakfast?"

"Just hot strong coffee and no chinese for breakfast, okay?" CD grinned at her, remembering the phonecall from the day before.

Under the bed Nate tried hard not to laugh at that.

Jinny nodded. "Sounds good to me. See ya in a few." With that she left.

"Okay, you can come back out now." CD helped Nate climb out from under the bed with his stuff. "Sorry you had to go there! You alright?" She kissed him a little worried.

"Yeah I'm fine... at least now we know there's neither monsters nor corpses or spiders or anything under your bed." He kissed her back.

"That's good, yeah. And we're all alone now ... " She added slowly.

"Uh huh... we are." He smiled and gently stroked her cheek. "You're even cuter in the morning."

"And so are you! With every second I pass with you, it seems like you're getting cuter and cuter and cuter ... I can't imagine myself without you again." She had her arms crossed behind his neck.

"Neither can I." He smiled and leaned in to kiss her passionately.

Her hand was on his back now wandering up and down while the other one was stroking through his hair. She pressed her pelvis against his own just to be as close as possible to him.

He groaned at that and quickly dropped her bathrobe to the ground and backed her up against the bed and let himself fall on it again, together with her.

She wrapped one leg around his hip while her mouth was exploring the upper part of his body. Then she placed a hand on his belly and moved it slowly closer to the spot where men liked to be touched at.

Nate sighed. "Damn.... but it could be important."

"Yeah, I know." CD sighed too and frustrated she picked up the phone which was standing near her bed. "DeLorenzo?"

"Finally!" Magda said as the phone was being picked up. She didn't even register CD was on the other end of the line. "I just ran into Dusty when I dropped Ben at school! He told me you moved out! Why the hell did I not know of this? You should have told me! But noooooo that apprently isn't important information for your partner and best friend! Now when the hell were you going to inform me about this? I'm glad Dusty gave me your new number, or else I might have wanted to call you about a case and then would have had to find out somebody new is living at your place now and I would have gotten all worried. You have to tell me things like that! So is there anything else I should know about? What about Jack? Have you talked to him yet? I really think you made a big mistake! You never should have broken up with him! He was good for you!" Magda was furious and continued to babble.

CD sighed and just put the phone down next to the receiver. Then she snuggled close to Nate again.

Nate frowned at that. "Who was that?" he motioned to the phone.

"Just Magda babbling about we did something wrong and why Jinny hasn't told her she'd moved and so on. Not really interesting." CD grinned.

He chuckled and kissed her while on the other end of the line Magda had no idea of what was going on as she continued to rant about all the terrible things Jinny had done in her opinion.

"So, where were we?" CD whispered and pressed herself against his body.

He grinned and resumed to kiss her passionately when they heard keys in the door followed by. "I'm back. I got takeout from Anchorside, I hope that's okay."

"No, that can't be true, can it? The world's against us." CD was frustrated. "Tonight I'll be at your place!" Then she got out of the bed and looked around for something to wear. Then she kissed him a last time and went out to Jinny. She led her into the kitchen so that Nate could come out of her bedroom without Jinny noticing it.

Jinny started to put everything on the counter. "I got pancakes, ham and eggs, waffles, bagles, muffins..."

"Wow, cool. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Thanks." She hugged Jinny. "So, you did sleep well too, mhm?"

Nate walked up to them as she was putting the last items on the table. "Whoa, you think that's enough for the three of us?" He asked jokingly about the amount of food he saw there.

Jinny laughed. "Yes I slept well, and Nate, if you're still hungry after that we also have pizza leftovers from yesterday in the fridge." She rolled her eyes and gave CD a 'men' look.

CD just grinned and sipped her coffee. "Whoa, strong and hot, as I like it." She smirked at Nate and then started eating.

Nate started to eat himself, though 'he shoved the food down his throat' was more like it.

Jinny sat down next to them and started to eat too.

"Oh, uhm Jinny. By the way, there was a call for you. The phone's in my bedroom, still linked with the calling person!" CD said between ham and eggs.

"Okay." Jinny said and got up and walked into CD's room.

She took the phone from the bedside table. "Hello?" She asked

"Jinny? Have you even listened to what I just told you?" Magda said getting more and more furious with every passing minute.

At the same moment she saw Nate's shoes on the floor and just had to laugh at that. "Mag... hey... I don't know why or how those shoes got here but somehow I think it's weird." She figured they had chased each other around again and jumped up on the bed or something like they had done the day before.

"Jinny Exstead! We're not talking about shoes here!!! I've been talking to you now more than 15 minutes and you just don't take me serious!" Magda was pretty angry by now. How could Jinny dare ... ?

"I'm sorry Magda... I'm listening... go on, go on." She said and put the phone down again. She really wasn't in the mood for one of Magda's sermons right now.

While Jinny was in CD's room Nate grinned at the woman by his side. "So you got plans for lunch yet? I was thinking about taking you out. Chinese maybe? I heard of this great pace... Chihuahua's Chinese Chicken." He smirked and took a sip of his coffee.
"I knew it! That was you!" CD laughed. "But don't tell Jinny. We have to be carefull ..." She emptied her cup of coffee. "Or what about getting something for lunch and sitting down in a park, Golden Gate or Alamo Square. The weather is so nice today!"

"Alamo Square sounds perfect" He grinned and quickly gave her a peck on the lips just in time before Jinny walked in again.

Magda kept on babbling about what Jinny did wrong and that she was angry that she hadn't tralked to her. She was her best friend .... blablabla .... Finally she came to an end: "I see you at work. Bye!" Magda hung up the phone.

"Yeah, we should go to work now. What did Magda say?" CD asked Jinny who just came in.

Jinny shrugged. "She wasn't on my brainwave."

"Ah, okay ... " CD said. Then she got up and gathered her things together. "I'm ready. Should I drive?"

"Sure." Nate nodded and started to look around on the ground. "Damn, has anybody seen my shoes?"

"No, sorry. Maybe under the sofa?" CD answered.

Jinny laughed at that. "I think CD's Teddy borrowed them." She emptied her cup of coffee. "I'm ready."

CD look kinda irritated. "I don't understnad ..."

"His shoes.. your room... you guys played kindergarden again?" She laughed.

CD blushed. "Uhm, yeah, must have been that ... "

"I'll show ya play kindergarden." Nate said and grabbed Jinny, picked her up and threw her over his shoulder.

CD laughed. "And now you can carry her to the Division. I'll take the car! It's more comfortable!"

Nate winked at CD and went to her room and stepped into his shoes and walked back out to them. "Hey CD... tie my shoes for me, will ya. I can't bend down with this thing on my shoulder."

Jinny started to slightly punch his back. "Let me down again! And don't call me thing!"

CD just grinnend and bend down to tie his shows. "There you go buddy. We'll see each other at work."

"Sure sure." He grinned and carried Jinny outside and to the car.

"Heeeeey! Nate Basso! Let me down!" She couldn't hold back her laughter anymore now and Nate put her down again.

"Hey, come on guys. We'll be late. We gotta go!" CD got into the car. Then she remembered something. "Nate, you still have my keys from yesterday!"

"Ohhh yeah." he handed them back to her. Meanwhile Jinny sat down in the passenger seat so Nate had to climb in the back.

CD smiled. "Thank you!" Then she drove them to work.

When they entered the building, Magda was already waiting for them. "Where have you been? You're late and why are you coming all together? Did ya have a nice threesome?" She said sarcatically.

"Foursome actually." Jinny said. "but Brad Pitt had to go back to LA again." She rolled her eyes at Magda.

CD grinned. "Yeah, but it was awesome you know, oh, you don't know how Nate and Jinny are in bed ... and Brad Pitt." CD went into raptures.

Jinny laughed. "Yeah especially Brad Pitt..."

"Oh you!" Magda was more than angry. "Come on Jinny, we have to work. Do you guys actually work here?"

At that moment Kate walked out of her office. She had seen the three arrive too. "Guys..." She said and motioned them into her office. She had heard some rumors already and she didnt like it all not to know what was going on.

"Oh ... " CD said and followed her.

"Finally!" Magda said out loud. "Finally someone who is normal here!"

Nate just rolled his eyes and glared at her before walking into Kate's office. He sat down in one chair opposite to her desk and Jinny sat down in the other.

Then Nate looked at CD and patted his lap. "Sit?"

"Thanks, partner!" She emphasized 'partner' because she didn't want to be misunderstood and sat down on his lap.

Kate had to smile a little but then looked at them seriously again. "Alright somebody tell me what's going on here. Magda keeps on telling around the wildest things, Raina enhances that and spices up the story so from what I heard now is a mix between 'Pretty Woman' and 'Indecent Proposal' because acording to them Nate hit the jackpot in Vegas, now is a billionaire and offered each of you one million dollars for a threesome last night. But that was so good that he now bought you a new appartment and pimps you around there." Of course she hadn't believed any of that.

They all rolled her eyes at that and CD spoke up to straighten thinsg out. "Okay, Captain. There were some things that changed. I was thrown out by my landlord yesterday because he needed the apartment for his daughter right out of the blue. Then Jinny and I decided to move in together into an apartment so I can be there for her no matter what and she won't start drinking again like she did when Magda, her 'best friend' wasn't there!" She glanced at Magda. "Nate just helped us with this stuff, moving and everything. And last night he stayed over night, because it was too late to go home. BUT everyone had his own bed and no one slept with any one ... but I like the idea of Nate being a billionaire." She grinned when she'd finished.

"Hell yeah. And I like the idea of that threesome." He smirked and then looked at Kate. "Or foursome." He winked at her.

Jinny slightly slapped that back of his head. "Grow up and get your hormones under control Don Juan"

CD slightly slapped his arm. "Hey, partner. Watch out or you'll regret it!"

"Hey ouch!" He pouted and looked at Kate. "You see that? I'm suffering here. Physical abuse from two women!"

"Poor Nate!" CD said teasingly.

"I'm always there for Jinny and she knows that! I just didn't agree with what she did." Magda said furiously.

"You're always there? Like hell you are! Where were you when I really needed you eh?" Jinny jumped up and glared at her.

"HEY HEY HEY!" Kate got up too. "Alright, everybody cool down here." She looked at the four inspectors. "Alright. CD and Jinny. I need the new address. And CD, I think it's for the best if you work with Magda for now and Nate with Jinny. Until Magda and Jinny have cleared their problem again. And by clearing it I mean sit down and talk about it, alright? And now get out of here, there's plenty of work." She looked at all of them sternly.

CD stroked Nate's neck as if it was a coincidence when she got up. Then she leaned down and whispered while passing him: "I can't wait for lunch!"
before she said: "Come on Magda, we gotta work!"

Magda was offended. "Yeah ... fine."

Nate smiled at Jin. "Come on."

"So come on Nate, we gotta go!" Jinny was quite satisfied with this solution. She loved working with him.

Magda knew that she couldn't even try to order CD around like she did with Jinny. But she also was still pissed at her. "Who do you think you are, huh? Jinny doesn't need you to play Mother Theresa for her! She already has a partner and best friend and that's ME!"

"Shut up, Magda. Your time is over and out!" CD said coldly. She didn't want to let herself become emotional. She would just say what was neccessary.

Magda growled but knew that it was the best if she didn't provoke CD any more right now or else she would get into serious trouble. So for the rest of the day that were the last words spoken between them that weren't about work.

Nate led Jinny to the car. "You think you're gonna forgive Magda again?"

"Well, I don't know if I can forgive her. I mean she wasn't there for me like she'd promised so often. I think I can work things out with her so that we can work together again but friends ... no .... " Jinny answered. "Oh, sorry that I splitted you and CD up. I know you love working with her ... not only working, mhm?" She grinned.

He shrugged at that. "Well you know... partners."

"Yesterday you didn't look like partners ... " She looked at him questioningly.

He nervously cleared his throat. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"You looked so intimate. Just partners wouldn't act like you do ... you're more than friends ... best friends .." Jinny asnwered. "And CD is very attractive ..."

"She is?" He shrugged. "I guess... but ya know... yeah we're really close friends..." He wished he could tell her how much he loved CD, but there already were enough rumors thanks to Magda now. "She's like a sister to me."

"A sister ... " Jinny lifted one eyebrow. "She's a woman Nate. A beautiful, intelligent, wonderful, amazing woman!"

"Yeah well she's my partner. So because of that I don't see her as a woman I guess." He shrugged. He shouldn't at least. But Jinny was right. It was impossible not to see her like that.

"Don't tell me that, Nate. You're a man ... and men see women differently ... And I never knew a man who saw a woman just as a 'partner'." She grinned. "So admit it at least, you find her attractive, don't you?"

He growled. "Okay fine... she is sexy. And if she wasn't my partner.... but she is. And my best friend. And neither of us wants to screw that up, alright?"

"Oh, you talked about that already?" Jinny had recognized that he'd say 'neither of us'. "And by the way, that's what I wanted to hear from you." She smiled.

He just gave her a look and pulled up at the crime scene. "Inspector... here we are." He changed the conversation to a professional level again.

"Okay, okay ... " Jinny said and got out of the car, knowing he wouldn't talk about CD anymore now.

Their case kept them busy for now and before they realized it it was lunchtime. Nate remembered he and CD had talked about meeting at Alamo Square so he went there and on the way there bought some Chinese take out.

CD got back to the division with Magda and went into the bullpen where she waited for Nate to come back so they could go for lunch.

Magda was mad at Jinny because CD had given her hell about everything so she just gave her a look and then walked out again, now regretting she had broken up with Jonah. She sure would love to see him right now.

Nate waited a while but when CD didn't show up he called her.

CD felt her cell vibrating and took it out. "DeLorenzo"

"Hey sexy. Too bad that you aren't here right now. Because if you were I'd have my hands all over you right now." Nate whispered to her seductively.

"Hey you. Where are you? Because I would love to feel that in reality." CD answered. She'd slightly blushed by his words but hoped that no one had seen it.

"Where am I? Where are you?" He asked.

"I'm at the Division. Didn't we want to meet here to go to Alamo Square?" CD asked slighlty confused.

"Yeah well I thought we meet at Alamo Square... So I suggest you get that sexy ass of yours over here before lunch gets cold, okay?" He smiled.

CD grinned. "And what if I don't?" She flirted with him. But she was already on her way out to her car.

"Then I'm gonna have all this delicious food for myself." He teased her back.

"Oh, if it's only about the food..." She tried to sound disappointed.

"Of course. What else would it be about?" He grinned and even though he couldn't see her he knew that she was smiling too.

CD had already started her car and was driving like the devil was following her. To be even faster she turned on the siren. "Pffffff, okay, just for the records, I'm just coming down to you because of the food too!"

"Sure you are. Drive safe okay?" He smiled and hung up.

CD smiled and couldn't wait to see him. When she arrived at Alamo Square she pulled the car in a parking space which a man had offered her after seeing her warning light. She thanked him and rushed out of the car to look around for Nate.

Nate grinned when she arrived. He had seen the lights and heard the siren of course and grinned when she approached him. "Eager to see me, eh?"

"Nope, I just came because I wanted to eat hot food and I'm starving. So give it to me, baby!" She grinned.

He smirked and held the box with the food out for her. "Crispy chicken, hot and spicy." He had gotten all the things he knew she loved. When she reached for the box he held it away from her again though. "Nuh uh... you want this? You gotta pay for it." He smirked.

"Hey! That's not fair. I just came down because of the food and we never talked about payment, that wasn't written in our contract!" She protested. "So give me what I deserve!"

"Ohh I'll give you what you deserve, alright." He grinned even broader and slightly smacked her butt before sitting down on top of a picnic table and then patted next to him. "C'mere."

"If I get my food then ... " She grinned and sat down next to him.

He opened one of the boxes and reached into it with the chopsticks and held a piece of chicken in between them. "Payment first." He grinned.

"Okay, let's make deal. Tell me what you want and I then decide if it's worth the food." She smiled and looked directly into his eyes.

"What are you willing to give?" He grinned.

"Mhm, what about I'll do the paperwork of the next case?" She smirked because she already knew what he really was longing for. For herself it too was very hard not to be all over him already.

He shook his head and ate the bite himself before getting another one out. "Try again"

"Hey, that's unfair. You're eating while I'm starving. Where's your male instinct to protect a helpless woman?" She tried to look like a puppy.

"Defeated by my male instict of 'whoa... food!'" He popped the second bite into his mouth too and devoured it in front of her.

"Hey ... " CD wasn't willing to give in this time. "That's not fair, you know? But, okay, I'm not hungry anymore, well not for food actually ..."

"Aww you have no idea what you're missing out here." He held another piece in front of her lips but as she wanted to take it pulled it back
again. "Nuh uh." He grinned.

"Okay, you got me. But don't tell anyone that there's a certain point when I give in!" She took his head softly between her hands and kissed him passionately. "Do I get what I deserve now?" she asked innocently after breaking the kiss.

He grinned. "First of all I don't even want you to give in to anybody else, is that clear?" He kissed her on the lips innocently and then held the food in front of her mouth again. "You deserve so much more than I could ever offer." He whispered.

She just bit off a little bit of the food. When she'd eaten it she kissed him again. "All I need is you to live. I don't need anything else to be happy. You make me to the happiest woman on earth" she whispered back.

He smiled back at her. "And thanks to you I'm the happiest man alive." Gently he kissed her again before feeding her a little more. They continued that for a while. She kissed him and he fed her. Some bypassers had to smile at what a cute couple they were. But each kiss got longer and deeper. Soon they were so involved with kissing that Nate didn't even notice how he dropped the food to the ground. He wrapped his arms around CD and held her close as he deepened the kiss even more and hungrily sucked on her tongue.

CD didn't care about the food anymore. She was hungry, true, but she didn't want food. She wanted Nate, more than anything in the world. Her hands were on his back running up and down. Then she stroked his cheek softly and leaned her forehead against his after breaking another passionate kiss.

"I love you." He whispered and gently caressed her cheek, looking deep into her blue eyes he was completely unaware of a golden retriever that barked happily upon finding the food on the ground.

CD was speechless for the first time in her life. Did he just say that he loved her? She couldn't believe that. Her deepest dreams were coming true. Small tears escaped her eyes. "Did you just say ... that?" She asked unable to believe it.

He gently stroked her tears away and nodded. "More than anything." He whispered.

"Oh my God ... I love you too, Nate!" She stroked his cheek. "I'm sorry, didn't mean to cry today ... " This seemed to be really true. But she still couldn't believe it. It seemed so honest what he said and his eyes mirrored it.

He smiled and kissed her gently, unable to believe she had said she loved him too. "You're my everything." He held her even closer to him and caught her lips with his own again.

She felt the soft touch of his lips on her own and thought she was in heaven. "I just wish I could cry it out loud but that's not possible."

"I know." He sighed. "That sucks. But at least we can enjoy it together." He kissed her with all his love and passion again and lowered her on the table, pretty much lying on top of her there now, neither of them noticing a woman with a stroller passing by behind them.

CD enjoyed feeling him on top of her. So she was completely forgetting their sorroundings. She wrapped her right leg around him and kissed him like there was no tomorrow.

"These young people today! Aren't you be ashamed of what you're doing here? Everybody can see this ... that's private and you can't do that in public." A passing old lady had stopped with her Chihuahua. "Would you please stop that? Everybody is already staring at you! That's indecent behaviour! and I'll call the police if you don't stop that!"

At that Nate pulled away from CD and cleared his throat and then looked at the woman and showed his badge. "Police is here already." He smirked.

"I want to talk to your supervisor. This is outrageous! You're officers and you're the last persons who can do 'this' in public! Shame on you!" The old lady said angrily.

"Hey, hey, Ma'am. Cool down. We're just rethinking a case we're working on because we don't know how a man had killed his female victim. Actually we're having lunch down here!" CD motioned at where the food had been before the dog ate it. "Uhm, well we already ate it."

Then Nate nudged CD and pointed towards a man further down the street. "Hey doesn't he look like that killer we're after? They do come back to the crimescene eventually." He said and gave her a 'play along' look. "How old was his last victim again? Around 70, 80?"

"Uhm, let me check." CD took out her notepad. "Yeah, 78 and the description fits. We should arrest him." She stood up. "Excuse us Ma'am, we have to work so that women like you are safe." She turned to Nate. "Oh my God Nate, where is he now? We lost him!"

"You're sure?" The old lady was frightened now. "I'll better go home. Go and get him, will you please?"

"Of course. We always get em." Nate assured her and then nudged CD again. "There he got into his car. Let's follow him!"

"Okay!" They ran over to CD's car and when they sat in her car CD started laughing. "That was fun."

Nate had to laugh too and then grabbed her and kissed her in a frenzy.

When they broke the kiss CD panted a little because she ran out off air. "Hey ..." she said when she could breathe again. "What do you think of us going to my apartment for lunchbreak since Jinny won't be there?" She stroked his thigh softly.

"I just hope that this time you don't have food on your mind." He whispered ragged.

She grinned while she started the car. "Well, depends on how you define food ..."

He smirked at that. "Oh I know what I'd love to eat right now."

"And that would be what?" She asked. They were already close to the aparment. Just a few more crossroads.

"I'll show you once we get there." He leaned closer and started to kiss her neck.

"Hey, not that I don't like that but I'm driving and I have to concentrate on the street." She giggled.

"Then do that." He whispered agsinst her skin, not stopping to nibble at her neck.

CD was glad when they reached the apartment because she found it hard to concentrate when Nate was doing that.

The door was hardly closed behind them, CD was all over him, kissing him and stripping off his clothes.

Nate was as diligent and her clothes hit the floor as soon as his own did. Even her bedroom seemed to far away now and he picked her up and laid her back down on the couch, climbing on top of her again his hands caressed her all over her body, the kisses becoming more and more filled with desire and need.

CD groaned and pressed her body against his. She needed to feel him, to hold him, to make love to him. "See" she whispered between gasps. "I'm still hungry ... " She nibbled on his earlobe while her hands moved between their bodies stroking him.

"So am I." He whispered and kissed all the way down her body, loving to feel her naked body under his own. His hands were caressing the insides of her thighs again before he kissed her there as well and sucked and nibbled upwards again until he found her most sensitive spot and let his tongue flicker all over it.

CD groaned even more. "God Nate ... " Her hands were running thorugh his hair now. She then pulled him up again so that their lips met. She wanted them to enjoy this together. One of her hands was now moving down to meet his manhood. She's already felt it pressing against her body and now she was, first softly, stroking it. "Let's make love" she whispered into his ear.

He looked deep into her eyes and smiled and stroked her hair out of her face. "Like no one ever did." he whispered and kissed her gently but yet full of passion and put his hand around her thigh and pressed that close to his waist. He looked deep into her eyes again, wanting to make sure she really was ready.

CD returned his glance and kissed him once more. "I'm ready" she whispered softly.

But then suddenly her cell phone was ringing in her jacket which was laying somewhere on the floor with the other clothes. It destroyed the whole atmosphere. CD sighed heavily. "Somehow this isn't meant to be, is it? We always come close but then ... " The cell kept on ringing.

Nate groaned in frustration and buried his head in her neck and hugged her and gently kissed her lips. "I'm so sorry baby." He whispered and then jumped up from the couch and reached for her jacket and got out the cellphone. "Go to ****ing hell!" He yelled at the caller before handing it to CD.

CD took the phone from him and said "DeLorenzo?" She reached out for Nate and when he eventually sat down next to her again she snuggled close to him.

"What the hell was that?" Jinny asked her over the phone.

"Uhm, we were betting. I said that Nate wouldn't be courageous enough to do what he just did." She hoped that Jinny would cope that.

Jinny laughed at that. "God you two crack me up. But anyhow. Cap wanted me to call, there's been a burglary at Texas Street. She wants you to go check that."

"Yeah, okay. We're on it. Be there in a minute. Bye." She finished the call and sighting she looked at Nate. "I'm so sorry, Nate. They want us to catch a burglar."

Nate kissed her cheek. "Let's go then."

"I swear to you, I'll be at your place tonight. Doors and windows locked and every single phone turned off ..." She kissed him and got up to gather her clothes.

He grinned at that. "Oh I can't wait." He gathered his own clothes and quickly got dressed then.

When they arrived at the shop, they saw a car which wasn't even close to the tempo limit. "That's the burglar, that's the burglar." The owner shouted.

CD nodded. "We'll get him!" Then she turned to Nate. "Please hold on tight!"

Nate held on tight as CD raced after the car.

She finally managed to get the burglar into a dead end. He stopped his car and tried to get away by running. CD pulled her car up as close as possible so that Nate could go out and follow the burglar.

Nate jumped out right away and ran after him. He leaped and caught him by pushing him down and handcuffed him. "SFPD. Game over. We won." He muttered.

CD had followed him after leaving the car. She handed Nate some handcuffs. Then she looked around for the things the burglar had taken with him until she found a plastic bag containing the swag. "So, what do we have here?"

"A cracked case." Nate said as the guy started to whimper and confess.

"Get him in the car and let us get him to the Division so that they can deal with him." CD sat and was already going back to the car. She took out her cell and informed the division that they got him and where his car and the swag was.

A short while later a patrol car arrived and they took him in. Once they were gone Nate looked over at CD and sighed. "There went our lunchbreak, huh?"

"I guess so" She sighed too and stepped a little closer. "But tonight ... " she whispered.

"Tonight is the night." He smiled at her.

It was hard for them but they knew they had to go back to the station. A lot of work awaited them there so they didn't even have the time to sneak off to be alone with each other.

At the end of the day they all went to the Anchorside together to have a drink. They sat down at their usual table, but Kate and Raina excused themselves because Raina had something really important she needed to talk to Kate about. So Magda, Jin, CD and Nate were left. Nate sat close to CD and on the other side Magda and Jinny were sitting. Magda was the only one who was drinking a beer. The others had ordered a coke.

"Was a tough day, wasn't it?" CD said and took a sip of her coke. Under the table her hand was slowly moving over to Nate, searching for his hand.

Nate nodded. "yeah... really tough." His hand was searching for CD's too. "But we made it" He smiled at her as their hands found each other under the table.

Magda took a long sip of her beer and said: "Whoa, that's what I've needed. So Jinny, you wanted to talk to me?" She didn't realize that everyone was starring at her because of the beer she drank in front of Jinny.

Jinny took a deep breath. A part of her just wanted that beer Magda had. She wanted to grab it out of her hand and pour it out over her. But she restained herself. "Yeah." She said.

CD also smiled when their hands met and now started a conversation with Nate since Jinny and Magda had something important to talk about. "So ... it was pretty sexy of you when you got the burglar. I could at least see you from behind and your butt while runnig." She whispered and smirked at him.

"What about?" Magda took another sip of the beer, almost emptying the bottle.

Nate chuckled and whispered back. "You ain't seen nothing yet"

"I was thinking about everything that happened. And what the Cap said. I guess she's right... we have some things to talk about. So I figured you could come over tomorrow for dinner?"

"Oh, what did I miss?" She slightly giggled and squeezed his hand softly.

He squeezed her hand back and grinned before taking another sip of his coke.

"Well", Magda thought hard. "Okay, I'll cancel a date and then I'll be there, fine?" She ordered another beer.

"Fine." Jinny said and looked over at CD and Nate.

"Hey! That's great, I'll come over too then." Nate said and invited himself.

"Well, I would say I come over too ... " CD grinned. "But let's just say I'll be there."

"D'oh. Because you live there." Nate laughed. "You gonna cook?"

Magda was kinda annoyed since she would have had a date tomorrow but well, somehow she knew she had to work this out because she couldn't stand to work with CD any longer.

"Me?" CD raised an eyebrow.

Jinny put her hands up. "Well I can't cook"

CD sighed. "So it's up to me then ... "

"Great." Nate grinned. "How about a juicy steak and mashed potatoes and gravy?"

"Hey, I'm the cook and I decide what you'll get, okay?" She grinned and slapped him on his arm playfully.

He pouted at that. "As long as you don't make rabbit food"

At that moment two men walked up to their table. "Hey ladies." They sat down next to CD and next to Magda.

"Hey, I can't remember I invited you over here." CD said to the guy next to her.

"Consider it a pleasant surprise then." He held his hand out to her. "I'm Tom."

At that Nate took his hand and shook it. "And I'm Nate and we were discussing something here. Nice to meet you, see you around. Adios." He didn't like it at all that somebody was hitting on his CD.

CD was in the mood to tease Nate so she shook the hand of Tom too. "Nice surprise, I'm CD."

Meanwhile Magda and the other were already deep down in a conversation. Finally they got up, Magda paid her beers and said: "See you, tomorrow guys. Have nice evening!" Then she walked out with the guy.

CD just shook her head in disbelief.

Jinny blinked at that. "She just broke up with Jonah... told me how the whole affair was so not like her... how she couldn't believe she was cheating on Gabe.... God. I'm disguisted."

"Me too", CD added. "And how she'd dare to drink beer in front of you!"

Nate growled. More about the fact that CD was flirting with somebody else than about Magda though.

Jinny shrugged. "I don't really mind. I mean you guys can drink, it's okay. I don't mind when others drink."

"I like my coke." Nate just said and took a sip.

"And I like mine plus I have to drive." She smiled. "Besides that's what friends are for, Jinny!"

Jinny smiled at that. "Yeah." She wasn't used to having friends like this but she never wanted to miss it again.

Tom then grinned at CD. "Oh you know, I could drive you home"

Jinny rolled her eyes and then saw how Dusty walked in. "Hey guys, I gotta go. Dusty's here. We're going to a meeting together. I'll see ya later CD." She quickly hugged her and then walked over to Dusty.

"Bye sweety, sleep well!" CD hugged her too and then turned her attention to Tom again. "Oh you would? That would be nice somehow, I could have a drink than at least." She smiled at him her fingers still entertwined with Nate's.

Nate glared at Tom and now that everybody else was gone wrapped his arm around CD's shoulder.

Tom blinked at that and looked at CD. "So.... how about you and I go over to the bar and I'll buy you that drink?"

CD decided that teasing Nate was enough now and she didn't even like this Tom. "Well, Tom. Thanks but somehow I decided to just stay here and not to drink alcohol tonight."

Tom smirked at that. "I can get you high without alcohol too." He winked at her.

"Oh, I bet you can. But not tonight and not in the future, sorry." CD answered.

"Okay enough. She's mine. Piss off or you'll be sorry." Nate had enough of it.

"Damn." Tom muttered and handed CD his card. "If you ever get fed up with him..." He winked at her.

"Oh, I never will." She laughed and ripped the card apart and threw it into the ashtray. "Come on, Nate. We gotta go. We've got something planned for tonight!" She grinned.

Nate got up and grinned a typically male 'I will get laid tonight and you won't' grin at Tom. Wrapping his arm even closer around CD he left with her.

Outside she turned to Nate. "So, your place I assume?"

"With lights and siren." He nodded.

"Oh, I better not use them again without a real reason for it." She laughed. "And we'll be at your place soon enough and we have all night long without getting disturbed again."

They arrived at the car and he pressed her against the car and kissed her filled with lust, passion, love and desire. "How's that for a 'real reason?" he whispered.

"Well, could count ... " She whispered back and smiled. Then she took the active part too and kissed him back with her hands already moving under his jacket.

He moaned and reached into he pocket and took out the keys and opened the door behind her. "Home. Please." He looked deep into her eyes.

She was about to tease him again by saying "No" but she didn't because she wanted him desperetly. "Okay." She took the keys and climbed in but not before stealing another kiss from him.

He ran around the car and got in at the passengers side and kissed her again before she drove off with lights and siren.

Finally they reached his apartment and got out. CD was already leading him to his door. "That leaves you to open it!" CD was happy now because she knew what was gonna happen and no one would disturb them.

He quickly opened it and picked CD up and carried her inside, kissing her passionately. He kicked the door shut and tossed his key aside.

Her hand under his jacket she kissed him which left them breathless for a second. "So, bedroom?"

He smiled but then sat her down on the couch. "No." He went to the kitchen and came back and handed her a can of coke. "Here. I'll be right back." Then he disappeared.

What the hell was that about? They both were wanting each other badly and he was just leaving her with a can of coke in the livingroom? Men could be so confusing ...

A moment later he came back again and held his hand out to her.

She took it and got up. "This has better to be good or I swear ... " CD smirked and gave him a quick kiss.

He kissed her back. "I hope it is good." He said and picked her up again and carried her into his bedrrom that now was full of lit candles and rose petals were all over the bed and everywhere. It was early in the morning when CD woke up. They'd been up all night and she found herself snuggled close to Nate, her head resting on his shoulder. It was too early to go home but she had to go there in a while so that Jinny wouldn't notice that she'd been away all night.

Nate squinted when something tickled him on his chest. Sleepily he opened his eyes and saw CD's head resting on his shoulder. He smiled and placed a soft kiss in her hair.

She smiled and looked up at him. "Hey you"

"Already awake? We just fall asleep ... " He glanced at his watch. "Two hours ago." He put his arm around her to keep her close to him.

She nodded and sighed. "And it's almost 5 am now...."

"Yeah, but work starts in 4 hours. So we got some time ..." He kissed her on her forehead.

"I need to be back before Jinny wakes up." She sighed again. "Meaning I have to go in about half an hour."

Nate sighed too. "I wish we could tell her so that I can stay with you whenever I want without looking too suspicious."

She nodded. "I wish we could do that too. But you know we can't" She kissed him again.

"Not at the moment." Nate kissed her too, his kisses getting more and more passionate again.

She returned the kisses with the same passion, not able to get enough of him either.

"Just stay some more minutes, okay? You won't regret it!" He whispered against her ear. He was completely awake now and his hands were already stroking her body softly, paying most attention to her breasts.

"What do you mean it's not all about sex? Of course that's all it is about!" She teased him and kissed him full of love. "Don't worry. I know what you mean. I love you too and god damn, I swear if anybody would have interrupted us again, I personally would have killed him or her!"

He was glad she understood what he meant. "Oh, I would have helped you with that." He grinned. "But we turned off every single phone in this apartment and even the doorbell was out of function. So if somebody wanted to interrupt us he would have had to break the door or a window."

"I'm glad that didn't happen" She laughed but then sighed. Can't you cuff me to the bed or something? I don't wanna go"

He kissed her. "That would be an option which would give me a lot of ... uhm .. fun." He grinned but then sighed too. "But it's not possible that you stay here, unless you're able to stop the world and we would be the only persons who could move!"

"I would do that for you if I could." She sighed and then winked at him before getting up. "And we'll talk about that ... uhm fun another time." She loved and trusted him so much, she really would do anything for him.

He got up and sneaked up behind her, placing kisses all over her neck and behind her ears.

"Hmmm" She moaned slightly. "You trying to get me in that bed again?" She whispered.

"Mhm, let's just put it this way. I'm not helping you to make it easy for you to leave ..." He smirked.

"You're so cruel!" She whined but pushed him away. "I would stay if I could! You know that"

"I know" Sighting he sat down on his bed watching her getting dressed but he didn't made a move to dress himself.

As she was dressed she leaned in and kissed him gently. "Thanks for the wonderful night"

"You made it wonderful!" He kissed her back softly. Then he stood up and accompanied her to the door. "So ... " He leant in for another kiss. "I guess, we have to wait until we see each other at work."

"Yeah." She sighed. "I'll miss you." she kissed him.

"I'll miss you too, sweety!" He whispered and kissed her again.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back full of love and passion. "I love you."

"And so do I!" He put his hands on her hips and returned the kiss.

She responded to the kiss but then pushed his hands aside. "Okay I'm going... I'll see you at work. Now get back in there and get some sleep." She kissed him one last time and then left.

Nate sadly sighed. She was gone now. Door closed behind her. He went back to his bed and all the memories of last night came back which eventually made him fall asleep.

Jinny sat in the kitchen. One hand around a cold cup of tea, which had been hot many hours ago. Her head was resting on the table. She was sound asleep.

CD drove back home again, listening to the radio every song seemed to remind her of him. Grinning broadly she arrived at their appartment and put off her shoes and as quietly as possible sneaked inside, not wanting to wake up Jinny, who she thought to be in her bed.

By the first sound of the door, Jinny was completely awake. She ran into the hall. "CD! Where have you been? I tried to call you, to call Nate. I was so worried that something bad had happened!" She hugged her friend.

"Whoa..." CD hadn't expected that and hugged her back. "I'm okay. I'm fine. I didn't think you'd get worried. God I'm sorry." She still had a sheepish 'I've just been thoroughly ****ed' grin plastered all over her face when she smiled at Jinny again. "I promise I'll call if I stay somewhere else overnight again."

"Yeah, and where the hell have you been? You look like you've been doing sort of bed 'sports'!" Jinny smirked. "I want details. She took her to the kitchen and got them hot coffee. "Don't tell me, it was the guy from Anchorside last night!!!"

"Ehhh...." CD sighed. "Look Jin, I didn't really get any sleep yet. I'm so tired..."

"Nonono, you could have slept at night. It's morning now, so ... details!" Jinny grinned.

CD grinned back at her and got the dreamy look in her eyes. She sighed and smiled. "I can't even try to describe it... it was oh my god.... it was just sooo... perfect." She sighed happily and grinned her face off.

"And you did it the whole night" Jinny assumed and grinned. "So, what's his name? Tell me everything about him!!! Is it going to be somethng serious between you and him?"

CD just grinned. "I really need some sleep now Jin."

"Oh, come on CD!" Jinny was kinda frustrated. "You can't just let me hang there!"

"Okay..." She smiled. "We went to his place and kissed... then at first he left me in his livingroom and when he picked me up again and brought me to his bedroom there were candles everywhere... and rose petals on the bed." She smiled. "And we slept together... it was amazing. And yeah... all night long. We just kept on starting all over again."

"Awww, so cute thought he didn't make the impression that he's so romantic. I just thought of Tom as someone, who wants to get you in his bed." Jinny grinned. "And, something serious?"

"Tom? Serious? No way." CD wasn't lying. "And yeah. I'm sure that was all he wanted. I made pretty clear I don't wanna see him again either. So I hope he leaves me alone again." She never said she had slept with Tom, like Jinny was assuming. But she couldn't admit that she had been with her partner.

Jinny was confused now. "So, was it him or not you screwed the whole night?"

CD just gave her a look. "I am going to bed now. I need my sleep." She hugged Jinny and wanted to tell her so badly that it was Nate. But she couldn't. So she just went to bed.

Jinny just sat there for a while starring holes in the air. CD hadn't said if it had been Tom or not. She would really like to know that but she would have to wait until the next morning. So sighing she finally went to bed.

CD couldn't really sleep the last hours until morning. She actually just laid there thinking of Nate and her being toghether. So when it was time to go to work she couldn't wait and was very impatient with Jinny. "Jinny, come on. We'll be late! Hurry, the Cap won't like it and I have a lot of work to do!"

"Gee cool down!" Jin gulped down the last of her coffee. "We still have plenty of time left before our shift..." at that CD had just tossed her her jacket and she was being pulled out of the appartment already. "... starts."

"We DON'T have plenty of time. Remember the traffic and everything!!!" CD shoved her into her car and drove off as fast as she was allowed to.

Jinny growled. "Yes mommy." She rolled her eyes. This morning CD was behaving like she had lost it.

CD just grinned like she'd grinned at night when she came home. "Okay, we're there." She pulled her car into the parking lot and jumped out of the car quickly. "Come on! We don't have much time left!"

"You know what? You go and run up there, I need another coffee. I'll see you later." Jinny stopped at the coffee vendor in the lobby

"Okay." CD grinned even more now that she knew she could have some minutes with Nate without Jinny. So she took the elevator and couldn't wait to get out. When she finally was there, she looked around looking for Nate but didn't find him. Sadly she stood in the hall in front of the bullpen.

Suddenly from behind a hand wrapped around her and covered her mouth while another hand grabbed her shoulder and quickly pulled her into the guys' locker room. Nate had arrived a while earlier and he had just put his stuff into the locker and when he wanted to walk out again he saw CD and that no one was around so he decided to quickly pull her inside with him to have a few moments alone with her. "Shh it's me" He whispered into her ear so she wouldn't be scared.

CD was pretty shocked, when somebody grabbed her from behind and pulled her into the guys locker room. She tried to get the person off but when she heard Nates voice she relaxed and let him pull her with him. When they were inside the locker room, Nate finally let go off her and she instantly turned around and kissed him like they've been apart for weeks. In between the kiss she whispered: "I've missed you so badly!!!"

"I missed you too." He whispered back and kissed her again like there was no tomorrow. "I don't know how I'm supposed to survive this day." He sighed.

"I don't know either. Hopefully we'll be teamed again, when Magda and Jinny worked things out." Her hand touched his cheek.

He slightly turned his head aside under her touch and kissed her palm. "That'd better be tonight." The he smiled at her with puppy eyes. "Soooo... whatcha gonna make for dinner?"

"Well, haven't decided yet. What do you like?" She asked stroking his back down to his butt.

"Hmmm. I definitely like what you're doing there." He grinned. "And I like this..." Then he leaned in to kiss her passionately and backed her up against the wall where he reached for her thigh and pulled that up and pressed it against his own thigh.

CD slightly moaned. "Actually I was talking about food but I like this method of 'talkin about food' too." She smiled and kissed him back. If they weren't in the Division CD wouldn't give a damn thought about it and would rip his clothes off instantly.

Suddenly an officer came in, wanting something from his locker. He turned around quickly and though he didn't recognize who it was, he spread the gossip of two officers screwing in the locker room.

CD had seen the man coming in and leaving instantly. Quickly she pushed Nate away. "Oh my God!" She had a shocked impression mixed with worry on her face.

Nate smirked upon hearing 'oh my god'. "I mean I always knew I'm good... but had no idea I'm THAT good."

CD grinned but just for a second. "This wasn't about you, you're THAT good anyways. But I'm talking about the guy who saw us and is probably already telling everyone that we're in here!"

"What?" He looked shocked too. "Somebody saw us? Crap!"

"Yeah, you couldn't see him. A man just came in, saw us and left again. I don't think he recognized us but I'm sure there's a whole gang of Division officers waiting outside to see who was in here. We have to find another way out of here!" CD looked around and sighed. "But I guess we have no chance to escape, do we?"

Nate sighed too and looked around. He then saw the air vent. "Do you fit in there?"

CD first looked at the opening of the vent, then down her body and then again at Nate: "Well, actually you should know my body by now ..... " She grinned. "But yeah, I guess so. But do you know in which direction we have to go? And when we come out we'll be dirty all over. If that doesn't look suspicious ... "

"I'm not going in there. Only you." He kissed the top of her nose and lifted her up so she would reach it. "And I know every curve of your body by heart. If you go to the left shouldn't you end up at the ladies room? There you can get changed then, I mean you have some other clothes in your locker, right?" He knew she, like everybody else, kept a few spare clothes there, just in case.

CD sighed. "Okay, let's get to know all the spiders and insects which live in here." She quickly kissed him before she disappeared through the opening. Slowly she made her way through the dark trying to find the ladies room. Finally she got it exactly where Nate said it was. She noticed no one there so she let herself fall to the ground. When she touched the ground she sprained her ankle. "Ouch." But she didn't care much about it since she could tell everyone she sprained it on the stairs.

Meanwhile Jinny had arrived too. She looked around for CD and then rolled her eyes. First she had been worse than Raina with her overeagerness to get to work and now she was nowhere to be seen. But she saw a crowd and walked up there. "What's going on here?" She asked an officer.

"There are five people having an orgy in there! And we want to know who they are when they come out again!" He told her. Of course like it always was with rumors, by now it wasn't at all what first had been told anymore.

Jinny didn't quite believe it and just nodded. "aaah... yeah."

CD quickly changed her clothes and limped outside just to see the crowd of persons standing outside of the mens room too. Slowly she walked over to Jinny. Her ankle still hurt. "Hey, Jinny. You know what's going on here?"

Jinny looked at her and rolled her eyes. "Five people having an orgy in there..." She gave her an 'as if I believe that' look.

"Oh, they don't really believe that, do they?" CD asked innocently.

"You know how some of them are" Jinny looked at CD and felt as if something about her was different, but she didn't quite know what yet.

At that moment Nate walked out of the room again and looked at the crowd surprised and then bowed and put his hands up in the air. "I'm sorry people, but my time is limited.... I'll make sure to sign autographs later." He grinned smugly.

"Hey, hey, Basso. Who was in there with you?" A man shouted over to him.

"What? No one." He shrugged. The first people rolled their eyes and growled and left again, apprently nothing was going on after all. But some others were curious still. "Come on! We know you weren't alone!" Another guy said.

Jinny rolled her eyes too. "Your partner's putting up a show..." She said to CD. Nate was known to pull pranks every now and then anyways. Suddenly she frowned as it hit her. "Weren't you wearing something else like 10 minutes ago?"

"Uhm ... " CD blushed and thought hard to find an excuse. "Well, uhm, you know, Nate had spilled his coffee all over me. There was no chance of me wearing the clothes the whole day. So I changed them." She hoped that Jinny would believe her.

"Hey Basso, come on. Was it your partner?" A man smirked while others were searching the lockers room now.

Jinny nodded. "I see."

"Hey partner." Nate called out. "Were you in there with me?"

"There's no one in here!" One of the guys searching the room called out frustrated.

CD grinned. "Definitely. And we screw the hell out of each other."

"We do?" Nate asked surprised and then nodded. "Oh yeah.. of course we do."

Jinny rolled her eyes too now. "No way, she just came out of the ladies room. I saw it."

The other division officers left now in frustration since there was no one havening an orgy in there.

CD smiled since it seemed like everyone was believing their little show and no one was thinking of her and Nate doing it in the lockers room. "In your dreams, buddy." CD answered and slapped him on his arm.

"In my dreams it's Meg Ryan already." He smirked even broader.

CD made a mental memo for making him regret later what he'd just said. "Well, so we gonna work now, or what? Jinny, you working with Magda again?"

"No. Cap said not before we had our little talk.." Jinny sighed. "Sorry guys."

"Though I can't take her any longer, this one day I'll get through." CD sighed. "We're having lunch together, partner?" She asked Nate.

"Sure babe." He winked at CD and then grinned at Jinny.

Jinny rolled her eyes. "Take a cold shower Nate..."

"I would suggest that too." CD nodded. "Lately he keeps on acting like he needs a date..." CD grinnend. "Okay guys, I'm off. Need to work with Magda." She made a face and limped off.

CD stopped and turned around. She saw Jinny still standing next to Nate. "Well, uhm, ya know. Just sprained my ankle while using the stairs. Nothing serious."

He nodded and immedialty felt bad about it. "Put some ice on it, okay?" His eyes told her 'i'm so sorry"

"It's okay. And ice is already on it's way." She smiled. He was so cute.

He smiled back at her and then looked at Jinny. "Let's get to work too, eh?"

"Sure Nate." On their way out Jinny asked Nate: "Hey, tell me how you managed to spill your coffee all over CD? I couldn't imagine how you might have done that." She grinned.

He frowned. "I didn't even have coffee yet."

Jinny was confused now. "Well, but CD told me that that was the reason why she had to change her clothes.

"Ooooh." He nodded. "Ohh yeah... that wasn't coffee... that was uhh... cappucino."

"Ahhh .... "Jinny wasn't really satisfied with his response. It looked all very suspicious to her but maybe she was just overreacting. "Well, okay. Let's go."

At lunchtime CD was tempted to bite Magda's head off. Everything she had been talking about was how where and in what positions the guy from the bar the last night had ****ed her. CD wasn't listening most of the time but she was so glad that she was going to have some time alone with Nate again now. She checked her watch and then she saw Jinny came back, but no Nate in sight.

Nate was standing at 'Lands End' where he'd set up a nice picnic for CD and him at the beach. He took out his cell and dialled CD's number.

"DeLorenzo." CD answered her phone.

"Hey sweety." He whispered. "I have a little nice surprise for you. Just follow my instructions, will you?"

"Ooookay." She chuckled, curious what he was up to again now. He was spoiling her wherever he could and she loved that. He was so cute all the time. She had to grin as she remembered she once had called him 'Mr. Romance' to tease him. But he really was.

He smiled. "Don't worry. In the end there's no one waiting for you to have you killed." He chuckled. "Well, leave the Division building. Outside there's a cab waiting with the number 2424. Take it. The driver knows exactly where to go and he's already paid. When he got you where I want you to be, I'll call you again. Okay? Love you!"

"This better be good!" She muttered and hung up and limped out cursing. But actually she couldn't wait to see what he had in store for her this time.
So she went to the cab and did exactly what Nate had asked her to do.

The cab driver smiled and took her on a trip through the whole city so that she first had no clue where they were going. Then he suddenly pulled up the side at 'Lincoln Park'. "Here we are Ma'am. Have a nice day!"

"Thanks." She knew he had been paid already but she gave him a little tip and waited for her phone to ring again.

Nate saw her leaving the cab. He'd been observing the area for her. Now that he saw her he called her again.

"Tom is that you?" She answered the phone and grinned.

Nate was slightly disappointed. "You didn't gave him you cell number, did you?"

CD chuckled. "Baby I was joking. I don't even want some whacko to call me. I love you. Now tell me where you are!"

That satisfied him. "Well, first just go down to 'Land's End' then I call you again." Then he remembered her foot. "Uhm, baby. If you can't walk I can also carry you down there!"

She smiled. "I'll manage. It's better already anyways." She hung up and only limping a little bit she went down there.

Nate followed her at a safe distance. When she'd finally reached 'Land's End' he called her again. "You okay? Now that your on the beach, you see a small blue flag to your left? Go there!" Nate had marked the picnic with a blue flag, so that she would find it easier.

"Naaaate" She whined a little because she didn't want blue flags, what she really wanted was him. But again she did what he said and went over there.

"Well, there you have your goal." He grinned and hung up.

"What?!?! HEY!!!!!" She growled. "NATE!" She called out. Her 'goal' was to be with him, and he still was nowhere in sight.

Nate approached her but still he didn't want her to see him. He called her again. "Hey babe, look into the sky!"

"You're gonna be looking in the sky and seeing stars soon if you don't get your ass here now!" She growled.

"Oh, I will sweety." He hung up again and hoped she would look into the sky. He had talked to a friend of his who was a pilot to write 'I love you' into the sky.

She rolled her eyes but looked up and then saw why he had wanted her to look up. "Holy crap." She gasped. That was the last thing she had expected. No one had ever done anything close to this for her before. She didn't even notice how a couple of tears started to roll down her cheeks because she was so happy.

While CD was looking into the sky Nate sneaked up behind her and hugged her. Then he kissed her neck and whispered against it: "I love you so much, Candace. And I'll never ever let you go again." Then he turned her around and gently kissed her tears away. "Hey, big girls don't cry." He smiled and softly placed a kiss on her lips while caressing her cheek wiht his hand, the other arm wrapped around her.

She hugged him back tightly. "I love you so much. This is the sweetest thing somebody ever did for me! You're Mr. Romance, you really are." She kissed him with all her love.

"Hey, hey ... it's no big deal. I just love you so much and you make me be like this. Besides please let nobody know I'm 'Mr. Romance'. It would ruin my reputation." He grinned and gently made her sit down on the blanket. "You want something to eat?"

She shook her head and pulled him down on the blanket with her and just hugged him and held him close. "I love you so much Nate. Don't ever leave me."

"I won't. I promise!" He kissed her forehead softly and pulled her even closer to him.

She snuggled close to him. Whenever they were together everyting just seemed to be perfect. "How's your case coming?"

"Oh, well. Not that bad. "Jinny is a great partner actually." He teased her.

"I know she is." She sighed. "I wonder how she ever survived Magda though. I swear that woman is driving me insane!"

"Hey, we have lunch break now so let's not talk about work. Try to forget Magda!" He smiled. "By the way, what did you tell Jinny about what happened to your clothes? She got me cold."

"She noticed I was wearing something else, I said you spilled coffee over me." She frowned.

"Yeah, and I told her that I haven't even seen coffee this morning! That confused her and she questioned it. Well, I assumed it had something to do with our 'hide-and-seek' so I said that it was Cappuccino but we really have to be more careful. Could have gotten worse in the locker room..." He sighed.

She nodded. "Yeah. God I hate to sneak around like that." She sighed herself. "But then again it's rather exciting... I mean the whole 'we could get caught' part. Until we almost do get caught."

She gave him a look at that. "I wasn't talking about 'doing it'." She mocked him. "What I meant was the whole thing between us." Then she slightly pushed him away. "Okay, honest answer. So if you happened to run into Meg Ryan... and if she wanted to do it with you. Would you have sex with her?"

"Uhm" Nate was slightly confused. Why was she talking about Meg Ryan now? And why did women always change the topic so fast? "Why are you asking?"

"You know what? Just forget it." She said snappily. "So where's that food?"

"Hey, hey, sweety. What's wrong? I mean I don't know why you asked me that and Meg Ryan is attractive, hell yes, but I wouldn't want aynone else in my life than you. You're my everything and I wouldn't even think of sleeping with another woman even if it's 'Miss Universe' or something. I love you, Candace and I don't want to hurt you!" He softly tried to pull her back to him. What did he do just wrong? He wanted this to be perfect.

"Hey YOU're the one who brought up the whole Meg Ryan thing first!" She said.

"CD! I'm sorry ... I was just ... " Suddenly he remembered when he'd said Meg Ryan. "I couldn't say your name instead of Meg Ryan's name in front of Jinny, could I? Believe me please, you're my one and only and don't have anything else on mind than being together with you!" His eyes begged her to believe him and he looked like a little puppy wanting something to eat.

"Hmmm okay..." She smiled at him and leaned in to kiss him.

But this time he pulled away. "Since we're already talking about it, I remember that you once mentioned Brad Pitt... and that I should say 'Hi. My name's Brad Pitt.' when I met you in a bar!" He grinned.

"What?" She frowned and then remembered too. "Oh yeah... wild abandoned sex... I remember."

"Hey, we were talking about you in the first place and not about me." He protested when she tried to change the topic.

"Okay. I would not have sex with Brad Pitt. I love you and you only." She now gave him the same look he had given her a few moments ago.

"So, everything's okay now?" He asked her.

"I think so, yeah." She smiled and kissed him.

"But there's one thing that hasn't changed about me..." He said after breaking the kiss.

"Oh yeah? What's that?" She raised her eyebrow.

"My opinion about wild abandoned sex .... " He smirked and pushed her into the sand to kiss her again grinning.

She grinned back. "And what if I'm not gonna abandon you after the sex?" She whispered.

"Mhm, wouldn't want you to ..." He kissed her again. "So let's just take the 'wild sex' thingie instead of 'wild abandoned sex', okay?"

"Okay. I can live with that." She grinned and kissed him full of passion.

He returned the kiss, his hands traveling over her sides up and down. In between the kisses he asked her: "You're not hungry anymore?"

"Not for food." She smirked and ran her hands all over his chest and pushed his jacket off his shoulders.

He grinned and his hands were now under her shirt caressing her skin. "I see ... " he whispered before kissing her again.

CD started to unbutton his shirt when she felt her cellphone vibrate in her pocket and a second later it started to ring. "Goddamit NO!" She growled. "I swear we're cursed or something." She said as she got the phone out of her pocket.

Nate was frustrated too. This had been all so perfect but this damned cell.... He snuggled close to her and started kissing her neck and her ear.

CD answered the phone and then giggled as Nate started kissing her. "Hey that tickles!"

Magda was about to talk to CD when she heard her being tickled. "CD? I thought you were going to lunch with Nate? What's goning on there?"

"That's none of your buisness. Why are you calling?" She asked.

"I have the one who killed Lauren Miller!" Magda said proudly. Finally she could say that she was better than CD.

"You do? That's great. Okay, we're coming back." She was glad they had solved the case.

Magda grinned. "Yeah, and 'I' found him! And later you're telling me whom you're screwing in your lunchbreak." With that she hung up.

CD sighed and looked at Nate. "I'm sorry but we gotta go. Mag cracked our case it seems."

Nate made a face but started gathering all the things he'd set up for the picnic. "My car's right over there!" He took her hand. "How's your foot by the way?!"

"Better." She smiled at him and kissed his cheek. "This was wonderful."

He grinned. "That was because I set it up!" He smirked and opened the passenger door for her.

"Of course it was." She got in the car and kissed his cheek once he was in there too.

After half an hour they arrived at the Division. Nate left the picnic stuff in his car and went over to help CD out of the car. "So, let's see what Magda got here."

"Yeah. She said she got the killer." CD nodded and they walked in again. She went over to Magda's desk. "Alright. Did he confess already?"

Magda stood up. "Well, actually he didn't. He keeps saying that he didn't kill her but we know that the husband was the killer."

"Yeah. The evidences are clear enough." CD nodded. "Let's go then. I'll be the bad cop." With that she entered the interrogation room and frowned when she saw the man. On the photos he had looked a lot different.

Nate followed CD and Magda to the interrogationroom but waited outside when the two women entered.

"I'm Inspector DeLorenzo." CD introduced herself and stood opposite to where the suspect was sitting. One quick look at him showed her that he wasn't wearing a weddingband. "Seems like you're over Lauren Miller's death already. I mean she's dead for 2 days and already you're not wearing the wedding band anymore. Do you mind telling me why not?"

He frowned at that. "How about because she wasn't my wife?"

Magda was surprised. "Well, you're definitely her husband. I found you in the apartment. Confess it! That would make it easier for the judges!"

"I'm the janitor there!" He glared at Magda. "I've been away on vacation and got a call that Mrs. Miller had been found dead in her appartment. So I took the first flight back and when I got there I went to the appartment because I had to take a look around to see what has to be done there now before we can have new tenants look around there again!" He protested.

CD shot a dirty look at Magda, looked into the mirror pretty annoyed because she knew Nate was watching and much likely had a laughing fit right now. Then she looked at the man again. "Would you excuse us for a moment?" She grabbed Magda's arm and dragged her out. "Tell me this is a joke. You didn't even ask him who he was?" She yelled at her.

Nate just grinned. "Not even a rookie would forget to check the ID of a suspect." He chuckled.

Magda was pretty confused: "I ... well ... I don't know, I just found him in the apartment and I thought ... he looked so suspicious." She tried to excuse herself.

But Nate wasn't amused at all. "Ya know, it was kinda funny but what makes me angry is the fact that you interrupted our lunch break for this 'joke'."

Magda opened her mouth in surprise. "So you were with CD? And you tickled her? Well, seems like I called at the right time!"

CD glared at Magda. "Alright I'm gonna go back in there and straighten out what you screwed up." She then looked at Nate. "And you tell her why you tickled me." With that she walked back into the interrogation room and questioned the janitor some more, if he knew where they could find Mr Miller maybe, but he had no clue about anything.

"Well, uhm, yeah, you know we're partners and she stole my dessert in the restaurant and that made me tickle her!" Nate tried to explain.

"Oh, okay." Magda smiled seductively. "I could tickle you too .... and I could do more ... more than you would have ever dreamt of. You poor boy ..." She stepped a little closer. "I would make up for all the lousy women you had in your life."

Nate lifted one eyebrow. "Uhm, thanks Magda. I think Cap was calling you?" He quickly sneaked in the interrogation room just to get away from Magda.

CD was a little surprised to see Nate enter but didn't mind. "I'm really sorry about this misunderstanding." CD adressed the janitor. "But thanks for your help. Of course you're free to go now."

He growled and then left and slammed the door shut behind him, mumbling something about incompetent cop bitches.

"You won't believe what just happened ... " Nate said quite pissed off.

"I'm already not believeing Magda arrested the janitor instead of the husband." She muttered.

"No, she wasn't! She even stepped closer as if she wanted to screw me right away!" Nate got even more angry because CD didn't believe him. "And besides, you're not the only woman who finds me attractive, just for the record."

"Who said I think you're attractive?" She teased him and smirked.

"Argh" Nate groaned in frustration. "So, you do not, okay." He left the room and went outside. He need some fresh air. Magda had finally managed to ruin his afternoon.

CD sighed. She had just tried to joke around a little. She walked out again too and glared at Magda. "YOU, get back to the neighborhood there and hit the bars. Take a photo of the husband with you and ask if anybody there knows him. Maybe we're lucky and he frequented one of the bars regularly." Then she followed Nate.

Magda just groaned and did as CD had told her.

Nate sat outside on a bench, chocolate bar in his hand and thought about CD and himself. He knew that he'd overreacted but he had been so pissed off. He shook his head sighing and took a bite from his chocolate.

CD walked up to him and sat down next to him, wrapping her arm around him. "I'm sorry, I was just joking"

Nate looked up, meeting her eyes. Then he sighed again. "I guess it's me who has to say sorry since I was behaving like a complete idiot!"

"No you weren't." She slightly caressed through his hair.

He ate the last part of his chocolate and sighed again. Then he turned to CD. "Thank you .... " He simply said and leaned in for a kiss when he realized that officers of the Division were coming in and out passing this bench. So he just took her hand and squeezed it softly. "For everything!"

She smiled at him. "And just for the record, I think you're incredibly attractive." She winked at him. "And Magda better just made a joke. Because if not she's gonna get into serious trouble with me."

Nate chuckled. "I would like to see you kicking her ass." Then he lowered his voice and whispered: "I can just return the part of being attractive. You're the most beautiful woman in the whole world and I would kiss you right away if we weren't sitting in front of our working place."

She grinned at that. "Thanks." Then she looked around. "Maybe we should go somewhere else..."

Nate was about to answer when Magda showed up again. "Hi Nate" she said in a sexy tone and swayed her hips in front of him. Then she turned to CD "Come on, we have the murderer down in Fisherman's Wharf." she said very unfriendly.

CD rolled her eyes and looked at Nate and then followed Magda

Nate was confused and angry again at Magda. He swore to himself that he'd kill that woman one day.

LOL, well I only had half a year of Spanish at school, and that was a catastrophe... I had already 2 years of French with the same teacher before and all I remember is Voulez vous coucher avec moi c'est soir? and trust me, that one I did NOT learn in class lol! Jinny was pretty worn out when she came back from work and let out a gasp when she entered her apartment. When she sniffed something coming from the kitchen she remembered the whole dinner thing. "Hey CD, what are you cooking?" She hugged her friend and tried to figure out what CD was preparing.

CD hugged her back. "Hey. Nate said he'll be here in about half an hour. He wanted to be here before Mag." She told her.

"Can I help you with anything?" Jinny asked.

"Uuuh, yeah, hand me the milk." She was preparing the mashed potatoes. "I won't put the steaks in before they're here. That way it's all fresh."

"Steaks?" Jinny raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah... steaks and mashed potatoes with gravy, plus some vegetables." She answered.

"Whoa, gotta be afraid of not eating too healthy since I'm used to other stuff." Jinny grinned. "How come you're cooking this?"

"Uuuh... just because?" She shrugged.

"Yeah, just because?" Jinny grinned even brighter. "Did Tom tell you last nigth you should eat healthier?"

"No. This isn't that healthy... I mean... I just figured we all eat so much junk all the time, so I added the veggies so we get some vitamins and stuff..." Actually she was more thinking about Nate's choices of food usually.

"Mhm, oooooookay .... " Jinny said. "Besides you haven't told me yet about last night ..." She smirked and settled down at the kitchen table watching CD preparing dinner.

"There's not much to tell about..." CD shrugged. "I had a great night and that's all."

Jinny didn't let her go that easy. "But how was he? I mean did he satisfy you? Will you see him again? I thought Tom was a jerk when he showed up that night at Anchorside"

She just shrugged. "I hope I won't see Tom again."

"But why have you slept with him then?" Jinny asked surprised. She went over to the fridge and took a soda.

"Jinny I had incredible sex last night, but I'm not going to tell you more about that, okay?" She smiled.

Jinny sighed. "Well, it's up to you ...." She toop a sip of her soda. "Maybe Nate knows more about that. I'm gonna ask him later." She left the kitchen to refresh herself for dinner.

"Hey!" She followed her. "Don't ask Nate"

"Why shouldn't I?" Jinny asked innocently.

CD knew that if she started to question Nate too they might tell her different things again and that would be even more suspicious. "Because... you know how he is. If you start asking Nate about it he'll start teasing me with it and all."

"Yeah" Jinny grinned. "And that would be much fun for me too! And hey, admit it, you love him teasing you!"

She growled. "No I don't."

Jinny just grinned sheepily and entered the bathroom closing the door behind her.

CD growled. "Okay fine. I'll give you details." She called out.

"Oh, that sounds good to me!" Jinny came back outside and they settled in the kitchen again since CD had to take care of the meal.

CD grinned at her. "Okay... where do I start? Well I went home with him.... we kissed... and then he told me to stay in his livingroom. After a while he led me to the bedroom and there were candles everywhere. And rose petals. It was really cute. We undressed each other and kissed again..." She grinned broadly.

Jinny groaned frustrated. "You told me that last night, remember? But well, I think it's cute. So why don't you wanna see Tom again then? I mean you had a wonderful night, he was very romantic and you had..."

The front door opened and was shut afterwards. Nate entered the apartment with the key CD had given him.

He heard the last words of Jinny talking. "... incredible sex."

"Who had incredible sex?" Nate smirked. "Hey girls." He gave Jinny and CD a short kiss on the cheek.

He groaned and took her by her shoulders. Then he laid her down on the kitchen table, his lips crushing on hers. "So, incredible sex, mhm? But teasing's not fair ..." he managed to say in between the kisses, breathing heavily.

She moaned and kissed him back. "Nate... Jinny can come back any minute..."

"I know ..." His hands were wandering under her shirt. "But I felt to urge to refresh your memory with whom you had incredible sex last night ... "

"Oh god. You have no idea how refreshed my memory is." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately.

Jinny had changed her clothes and was going back to the kitchen now. Just before she could enter the room, the doorbell rang. She went and opened it, finding Magda standing there. "Hi, come on in!"

CD heard the doorbell ring too and pushed Nate away again. "As much as I want you right now I don't think that's a good idea..."

"Well, uhm, we could just sneak out, saying we have to buy something for dinner ..." Nate was begging like a little child for a chocolate bar only that right now he didn't want a chocolate bar.

At that moment, Jinny entered the kitchen, Magda following her. "Hi guys. How's dinner?"

"Almost done. How do you want your steaks?" She asked and went to the fridge and gave Nate a 'later' look. She wanted to get done with dinner so they wouldn't have to hurry back soon.

"Medium please." Nate said and excused himself needing to go to a bathroom since neither Magda nor Jinny should see his little friend. That would keep him away from uncomfortable questions.

"Mine medium too, please!" Jinny added and started setting the table. "Hey Magda, CD is cooking healthy food tonight since her lover has told her to do so!" Jinny smirked.

"I don't have a lover!" CD growled and slappd the steaks into the pan. "Magda, yours?"

"No blood please." Magda made a face. "How can you eat basically raw meat?" She asked Jinny. "And what lover? But nevermind... talking about lovers... you won't believe what happened last night!"

"NO! Not again!" CD glared at Magda. "I swear if I have to listen to that AGAIN I'm going to hurt you!"

"Who is going to hurt who?" Nate asked returning from the bathroom.

Magda rolled her eyes. "Miss Know-It-Best here just threatened me"

"You have one helluva nerve to call ME that!" CD now pointed a big fork at Magda. "Who of us managed to screw up and arrest the wrong guy TWICE in one day?"

'Wouldn't mind helpin' CD' Nate thought to himself. "Hey Ladies, calm down. We met here to solve an argument not to create another one."

Jinny agreed with him. Things were't working out so well with Magda but she needed a base to work with her again.

CD took a deep breath and turned around again. "Dinner's almost done. Could one of you get the drinks?"

"I'll have a beer." Magda said.

"No you won't" Nate said angrily and took some sodas and cokes out of the fridge.

Jinny helped CD with getting the meal to the table and was somehow glad that Nate didn't allow Magda to drink alcohol in her presence. She wasn't 'dry' enough to see others drinking around her again yet. Especially since that was the cause for the whole fight in the first place.

"We don't even have beer here. Nor any other alcohol." CD said as she put Magda's plate down in front of her and then smiled at Nate as she handed him his, wondering if he even remembered what he had asked her to make.

Magda rolled her eyes but restrained herself from making a comment about the beer.

Nate's eyes met hers, exactly remembering that he'd suggested this meal and she had said 'no' earlier. 'I pay you later' his eyes said and he grinned. "Mhm, looks delicious!"

She smiled and sat down next to him, gently squeezing his hand under the table for a moment.

"I bet my Paella is better." Magda said before starting to eat.

"So, bon appetit, I guess!" Nate said and started eating after just giving Magda a 'shut up' look.

"Wow, CD that's the first time I'm eating something you cooked ... and I'm still alive!" Jinny grinned. "No, seriously, this tastes really good. You're gonna be a great mum!"

Nate choked at that. "Did I miss something?" he asked shocked.

"No." CD looked at Nate and then at Jinny. "Not gonna happen."

Nate let out a gasp of relief. He had already thought that there had happened something between CD and him already. But then he remembered that CD had once told him that she'd had her tubes tied. So she couldn't possibly be pregnant. That made him relax again and he enjoyed his steak.

After dinner CD and Jinny were putting the plates into the dishwasher and CD looked at her. "Hey, I think Nate and I are gonna go for a walk or so, I mean as long as I'm here Magda will just keep on bitching around, and you two need to talk quietly. So I guess it's for the best if I take Nate out for a walk." She grinned as she made it sound like she was gonna walk her dog. Then she looked over at Nate whistled with her thumb and forefinger in her mouth and made a movement with her head to motion him to come over.

Nate looked up when he heard someone whistle.

"Yeah, that would be the best idea. And I'm sure things will work out and tomorrow you and Nate can work together again!" Jinny said and then looked at Nate. Giggling she said: "Whoa, you already taught him. He'll do whatever you want, mhm?"

"I will do what?" Nate said. "No way, you don't know what CD would want me to do for her." He smirked.

CD slightly slapped his forehead. "Go soak your head." And then she took his arm and pulled him with her.

"Go soak your head? What was that about?" Nate asked when CD shoved him out of her apartment so that Jinny and Magda could be alone for a while. Outside Nate reached for CD's hand, when they were out of sight of Jinny and Magda.

"Just teasing. Like usual." She smiled at him. "I just hope Mag and Jin work things out again. Somehow Magda was nicer when they were still friends. Actually she changed so much lately. I can't believe that's the same woman like when I met her first."

"Yeah, but let's not talk about Magda right now." Nate softly dragged her to his car. When they reached it he pressed her against it and kissed her full of passion and lust.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and eagerly returned the kiss, forgetting all about Magda right away.

"So, about the incredible sex..." Nate smirked and his hands were all over her. "But maybe we should enter the car where not anyone can see us." He suggested.

"Good idea." She whispered huskily and before Nate had the chance to get out his keys she had picked the lock and the cardoor was open.

Nate was pretty surprised by her actions but didn't care much about it. He helped her inside and then climbed in over her, closing the door behind them. Then he lowered the passenger seat as much as possible and climbed on top of her, his hands now under her shirt searching for her soft skin.

"Ouch.. wait." CD slightly pushed him aside and then leaned agaist the window slightly and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Okay this is better." She started kissing him again.

Nate's lips were still on hers when he unbottoned her shirt. Then he shifted himself to another position because he wanted to place kisses all over her body. But at that moment he hit his head. "Ouch" But finally he'd found the position and made a trail of kisses across her chest. He then flipped his hand behind her to unbutton her bra. But somehow he didn't succeed. He slightly groaled in frustration. He tried to open the bra a second time but instead he hit the 'open window' button and behind CD the window opened automatically.

"Whoa hey" CD said when she felt the window open behind her.

"Uhm, sorry. Just put your head back in here." CD did so and he closed the window again. Then finally he'd managed to open her bra and tossed it aside. He placed soft kisses right there where the bra had been seconds ago paying much attention to her nipples.

His kisses soon made her forget all about the window and she moaned as she wrapped him out of his shirt and at the same time kicked off her shoes.

Nate continued his trail of kisses down to her belly and then opened her jeans. He tried to pull it off softly but then he realized that he'd gotten stuck somewhere so he pulled even harder. But then he slid off and hit the windshield wiper and the warning flasher device. Both went off instantly. "Gosh" Nate got even more frustrated. Somehow that didn't work out like he'd planned it. Nate nodded and since he was facing her he leaned down on her so that he could get rid off his jeans and boxers since there was no other way for him to do it. "So .... She right away caressed him again too and again tried to give him the access that he wanted and also was careful not to hit the radio again, but this time she somehow ended up with her foot at the steering wheel and got stuck there. Nate was frightened when he heard the honk go off but then he saw CD's foot there. He helped her getting it free again. Then he whispered into her ear: "Didn't know you wanted an audience?!?" He smirked. "We could have done it right away on the kitchen table earlier then..." He winked at her. "Or do you wanna call Jinny and Magda down here?"

She gave him a look but grinned. "As long as we're not on candid camera." She chuckled but then got serious again and sighed. "Nate, I'm afraid this isn't working... we're both so damn tall... maybe we should just take that walk after all..."

Nate pouted at that and kissed her and all along her jawline to her ear. "I don't wanna go for a walk." He whispered. "I wanna have unforgettable mindblowing sex with you." He purred into her ear seductively and started to nibble at her earlobe. He was determind to give her the best she ever had.

"Hey, I was just kidding earlier ..." She started but then just enjoyed his touch. "Uhm, what about using the backseat?" CD suggested and kissed him with lust.

Nate smiled, glad that she had just been kidding. Then he looked at the back and nodded. "Let's try it."

"Okay" CD answered and started climbing in the back. But first of all she had to get out from under Nate which wasn't very easy. When she'd managed that she shoved herself in the back but she hit her head once. "Ouch, well it's your turn now." She laid down on the back.

He climbed over too and immediately started to kiss her again. The he pulled back and looked at her, stroking through her hair. "So when you said you were kidding earlier...?"

"Huh? Don't remember anything I said like this ..." CD grinned. She loved teasing him.

He frowned again. "About the sex..."

"Oh, about THAT ...." She grinned even more. "Well, I have had better ones ...." Her fingers trailed down his jawline.

"Oh..." He just said. "I'm sorry I can't live up to your standarts." That really hurt and bothered him.

"Oh Nate." She pulled him closer to her. "I don't have any 'standarts' and I wouldn't compare you to other guys I had before. They all didn't make that happy like you do. I wouldn't want to change a thing about this and I don't want higher 'sex standarts'. I'm more than happy with you and you're the best that has ever happened to me!" Looking deep in his eyes she added "And I love you like I've never loved someone before!" Her voice was just a whisper by that. "And I meant this morning it was even better than last night."

He held her close and kissed her face. "I love you too. But I want you to be honest with me. I'd do anything to make you happy." He looked back into her eyes deeply.

"Nathan, I am completely honest with you. I wasn't honest when I said I have had better ones in my life. You make me happy by just being there for me, by loving me, by helping me, by caring for me... Her eyes mirrored the truth which she'd just said. She couldn't live without him anymore.

He smiled broadly at that and held her even closer. "I'd never even think of letting you go again. I need you as much." He looked deep into her eyes again and knew no words could express his love for her so he kissed her to prove it. Once they broke the kiss he smiled at her again and looked deep into her eyes. "Time and again I've longed for adventure, something to make my heart beat much faster. What did I long for? I never really knew. Finding your love I've found my adventure, touching your hand, my heart beats the faster, all that I want in all of this world is you."

A tear escaped her eye. "That is so cute, Nate!" She pulled him close to kiss him again. She needed him so much and she couldn't live without him anymore.

Nate kissed her passionately and slowly started to caress her body again. The backseat wasn't exactly comfortable either but it worked.

Nate kissed her forehead and then reached over for his pants and got his pager out. "Raina. They got a lead on our suspect and we have to come back in."

CD sat up. "Well, then let's go. Could you pass me my clothes?"

He reached for the clothes and handed them to her and then reached for his own.

It was quite difficult to put them on but finally they managed. "We gotta inform Jinny and Magda before we leave."

He nodded. "You go up there I'll wait here."

"Okay" She stole another kiss from him before she went up.

Jinny and Magda seemed to have worked things out, when CD entered. "Hey you too, worked things out?"

Magda just looked at her coldly. "Mind your own business."

Jinny rolled her eyes and nodded at CD, giving her an 'I'll tell you later' look. "Where's Nate?"

"Lost him in the park." CD giggled. "Just kidding. No, he's downstairs wating for me. We got paged by Raina and have to get back to work. It could get late, Jinny. So don't stay up till I'm back, okay?" She smiled and hugged her.

"Okay. Good luck." Jinny hugged her back.

CD just winked at Magda and left again. She climbed into Nates car. "Okay, let's go. Seems like Magda and Jinny have worked things out!" Then she leaned over. "Missed ya!" She kissed him slightly.

"Missed ya more." He kissed her back passionately but then pulled back and started the car.

CD just grinned and put her hand on his right thigh. First she softly stroked it but then she let it rest there.

At a red light he kissed her cheek. He couldn't believe how happy he was. Soon they arrived at the Division.

Since darkness was already settling and no one could see them in the parking lot, CD took his hand until they reached the building. Up at the Division they met Raina who gave them the things she'd just found out. "You wanna go through it here or at home? Cause if you stay I should remind you to turn the lights off. I'm off now too!" Raina waved and left.

Nate looked through the stuff Raina had just handed them. "Hey CD." He showed her the note. "He seems to hang out at his buddy's house a lot. I mean he already got arrested there three times... Think we'd get lucky there again?"

"Well, let's give it a try ..." CD turned the lights off and the headed back to the car.

Nate drove off again and stopped in a small street. "Wait here. I'll be right back."

CD was confused. What the hell was this all about? This wasn't the place where they'd wanted to go. She wondered what Nate had on his mind. Sighing she leanded back and waited for him.

A short while later he came back and handed her a big ice cream box. "There's this great parlor around the corner. They're open 24/7. And I figured since we're probably gonna have to wait in front of that house for a while..." He handed her two spoons. "I got half rocky road and half chocolate."

CD had to laugh at that. "That's you." She leanded over and kissed him. "Okay, since we're so 'well-prepared', let's go!" She giggled.

He chuckled and kissed her back and then grinned as he drove to their destination.

Finally they arrived at their stake out place. Since all seemed to be quiet they got themselves comfortable in the car. "So, where's the ice cream?" CD smirked.

"What do you mean where's the icecream?" He looked at her shocked. "I gave it to you!"

CD laughed and then kissed him. "I love that shocked look on your face." She showed him the icecream which she was holding in her right hand. When he reached for it she pulled it away. "Uh uh, what's the secret key?"

"Gimmmmmeeeeeeeeee" He whined and looked at her like a puppy.

"Have I already told you, how cute you're when you're whining?" She grinned still keeping him from getting it.

He reached for it again. "Come on! Gimme!"

"Mhm, but I love you being cute .... " She leaned over and kissed him again. "What do I get for it?"

"My unconditional love." He kissed her back, now more interested in kissing her than the icecream though he wrapped his arms around her.

"Mhm, well, that would do it, I guess." She whispered and wrapped her arms around him too. But the he lifted his shirt on the back with one hand and put the cold icecream on his bare skin with the other one. "Here you go buddy" she giggled.

"Ahhh!" He yelped as the cold box was against his skin. He gave her a small glare. "That's cold!"

"I know." She giggled even more. "When you came back with the icecream you just put it on my thighs and that was even colder."

"Not on your NAKED thighs...." He smirked. "Too bad actually"

"That you're not naked." He winked at her and then snatched the icecream box and started to eat.

"Yup." He grinned. "This is REALLY good icecream" He held a spoon out to her but when she was about to eat it he quickly put it into his own mouth instead.

"Ah, that's really not nice!" She softly slapped his arm. "Since you're not interested in nudity would you just give me some of your icecream?" She smirked.

He smirked back. "Who said I'm not interested in nudity? Gimme your pants and you'll get some icecream"

"Okay." CD simply said and pulled down her jeans followed by her panties. Then she put on her jeans again and laid her panties across Nate's lap. "So?"

He looked at her with raised eyebrow and then grinned and put her panties into his pocket. "Don't think you'll get those back."

"I don't care as long as I get my icecream now" She answered and leanded over her mouth awaiting the spoon.

He kissed her and then put the spoon full of icecream into her mouth and right away kissed her again, allowing the icecream to melt in both of their mouths at the same time.

"Mhm, I could get used to that." CD said slowly. "I like your way of sharing icecream."

He smirked. "Well if you want this..." He held up a spoon again

"Then what?" She smirked back.

He shrugged and ate it himself.

"Try again." He held up another spoon.

"Okay, what about this?" She slowly opened the first buttons of her blouse until her bra was visible. With her forefinger she followed the lines which her breasts created.

He swallowed at that and nodded and put the spoon into her mouth.

"Mhm, that was worth it." She said her tongue gliding out of her mouth to clean her lips. CD didn't want to waste any icecream.

He nodded. "Definitely worth it."

"Well, but I want some more icecream. And I've got an idea how to get it." She grinned and lifted his shirt so that his belly was visible. Then she took the icecream and placed some with the spoon on his naked skin.

He moaned at that. "Oh god baby... if you keep that up I won't be able to control myself much longer."

"You better, we're on duty." She grinned and lowered her head to his belly. Softly she started licking of the icecream. Her tongue drew circles and left a wet path on his skin. "All cleaned up again." She grinned. "What about some more icecream?"

He kissed her passionately. "I don't care about iecream."

"But I do" CD grinned mischeviously. Oh, she really loved teasing him.

He sighed and pulled back. "Okay. What do you have to offer?"

"Mhm, turn around!" She ordered him.

He turned around at that obediently.

She quickly undid her bra and pulled it off. After that she closed her shirt again but left it open enough so that he would see that she was really not wearing any bra now. Then she leaned against his back, her hands wrapping around him and presenting him her black bra. "Does this count?" she asked like a shy high school girl who was alone with a boy the first time.

He grinned "Whoa yeah.." He turned around and kissed her passionately and handed her the whole icecreambox, the bra falling down somewhere.

"Never expected it would be that easy. I thought I would have to be barenaked until you would hand me the whole box." She grinned and satisfied with the icecream she shifted herself in a comfortable position in her seat. "You want some too?" She couldn't resist to tease him some more that she really didn't care about the icecream anymore. If there wasn't this stake out she would already be all over him.

"I would love you barenaked. But I seriously wouldn't be able to control myself then." He gently kissed her. "It's already hard."

I haven't talked to Britta in ages though since she has other priorities now, so I honestly don't know what's gonna happen to this one... but there's a lil more that we already wrote a while back.

He groaned at that. "What are you trying to do to me here huh?" He kissed her again. "Baby there's nothing that I'd rather do than make love to you right here and now... but like you said... this is work. And we need to be able to control ourselves at least somewhat. Or else we really can't work as partners anymore."

Now he was somehow teasing her but on the other hand he was right. CD sighed. "I guess you're right. We shouldn't let our relationship come between our work as partners. That wouldn't go well for a long time."

He sighed and nodded and kissed her again.

They were already sitting there for hours now and nothing had happened besides emptying the icecream box. Morning was already settling. "I'm really getting tired, Nate." CD had to force herself not to fall asleep. She knew that it wasn't good on a stake out but she couldn't help it.

He nodded. "Me too." He meanwhile had his arm wrapped around her and her head was resting on his shoulder. He kissed into her hair.

"Hey, hey, wait." Suddenly CD was all awake again. "That's the guy, isn't it?" She was pointing out at a man who'd just left the house they were observing.

He nodded. "Let's go get him"

CD nodded and took out her gun. Then she left the car and ran towards the man. "SFPD. Freeze or else I'll shoot you!"

Nate did the same, pointing his gun at him.

The man froze but then turned around firing his gun at CD. She quickly covered behind another parking car.

When the man saw CD hiding he fired some shots in Nate's direction before he ran off. CD saw that and told Nate with her hand he should follow the man. She took the path around the house in the other direction where she met the guy again. She knew Nate would be there within seconds so she pointed her gun at him again. "SFPD, and I don't wanna have to say that again. Drop! Your! Weapon!"

"I'd listen to her." Nate said from behind him. "She's cranky when she's tired... "

CD didn't move. She didn't even blink with her eyes.

The guy realized that it was senseless and slowly dropped his weapon. CD quickly got it. "Got it, safe and secured." She said to Nate.

Nate put his gun away and got his cuffs out and yanked the guys arms behind his back, cuffing and mirandizing him.

On their way back to the car CD grinned. "Well, seems like the night was worth spending it."

The guy wasn't very pleased with the current events at all.

Nate nodded. "I'm glad we finally solved this case and can close it now."

CD agreed with him. They got they guy back to the Division and gave him to the care of the Marshalls.

"So, what now?" CD asked. "We still have 5 hours until we have to be back at work."

He grinned. "How about we..." At that moment his phone rang. "Hang on." He picked it up. "Basso... yeah... Is she okay? Okay... yeah I'll be right there. Thanks. See you." With that he hung up again and looked at CD a little sad. "That was somebody from my sister's home. She had a bad nightmare and is crying and calling for me. I gotta go over there."

"I can understand that. I'll ask a collegue to drive me home, okay?" She looked around to make sure no one was watching them. Then she quickly kissed him. "Hey, you gonna pick us up for work?"

He nodded. "Sure. I'll bring breakfast and come by a little early, okay?" He kissed her again. "I really gotta go now..."

CD nodded and watched him leave. Then she turned around to look for someone who could drive her home. She just found Berry who was an office and who had only been working at the Division for a week now.

"Hey Berry, could you do me a favor?" CD asked.

"Sure, what can I do for you?" He smiled at her.

"Could you just take me home? I just came in from a stake out and I'm not really in a mood to deal with a cab driver." She smiled back.

Berry nodded and drove her to her apartment.

She got out and gave him ten dollars for the gas. First he didn't want it but she forced him to take it.

Then she went up and quitely sneaked in her apartment not wanting to wake Jinny.

Jinny had just woken up and was in the bathroom. Whe she walked out again she heard a car ouside and looked out to see CD leaning into the window from the outside for a while before walking to the door. She slightly shook her head as she looked closer and recognized the guy who now drove off.

CD met Jinny in the kitchen and was a little surprised about that. "Oh, morning, sweety. Didn't know you were awake already. How did you sleep?"

"Fine. I just went to the bathroom actually." She said and then grinned. "So... you had a long night at 'work' eh?"

CD sighed and sat down. "Yeah, it has worn me out completely. Tell you what, don't you ever let Raina take over parts of your case. She'll always find something to do for you, even at night."

"Raina? That guy looked like the new rookie to me." She grinned.

"Huh?" CD was confused. "Who are you talking about?"

"What's his name? Benny?" She grinned.

"Well, actually it's Berry." CD answered and got up to get herself a cup of coffee. Actually she didn't want to drink one since she still tasted the icecream mixed with Nate's taste in her mouth. But she really needed a coffee or else she wouldn't manage this day.

"And he drove you home...." Jinny raised her eyebrow.

"Yeah, he did ..." CD took a sip of her coffee. Instantly she got a real good feeling inside of her.

Jinny looked at her and noticed she wasn't wearing a bra. "And you gave him something for that eh?" She grinned.

"Yeah, couldn't leave him unpaid for his service." She answered still enjoying the coffee.

Jinny smiled and shook her head. "I hope you had a good time... and a safe time..."

CD looked quite confused. "Uhm, yeah." She emptied her cup of coffee. "Well, I gotta go and catch some sleep until Nate shows up here again, okay?"

Jinny nodded. "Wait what do you mean? He invited himself over again?"

"Yeah, for a 'breakfast-with-his-girls'. I think it's cute." CD answered before she shut the door to her bedroom. She fell on her bed with her clothes and was asleep instantly.

Jinny nodded and smiled. It really was cute how Nate was taking care of them. She went back to her room to sleep some more herself.

"So, here we are, little sis." Nate pulled up his car at CD's and Jinny's place. "That's where CD and Jinny are living now." He got out of the car and helped Irene out. "Okay, so let's surprise them with breakfast!"

She giggled and nodded. She really liked CD though she still thought it was a weird name. She hadn't met Jinny yet but she figured if her brother and CD liked her she must be okay. Proudly she took the bag with the breakfast and carried it to the door, following Nate.

Nate took out the key given to him by CD and opened again. He let his sister enter first and closed the door behind them. Then he said a little bit louder: "Breakfast's ready! Where are my girls?" He smiled and took his sister into the kitchen. "Let's make some coffee for them!"

She giggled again because he had called them his girls. "How come you have a key?"

"CD gave it to me so that I can enter the apartment in a case of emergency." Coffee was ready by now but 'his girls' were nowhere to be seen.

"And it's interesting to see what he classifys as 'emergency' for him." CD said as she walked up to them. "Hi Irene." She only had met her a few times but she wasn't really surprised Nate had brought her to cheer her up again.

Nate resisted the urge to kiss CD when she entered the kitchen. "Morning, sunshine." He smiled. "Well, actually this is an 'emergency' since I guess you and Jinny are starving."

Jinny had heard some noise and got up from her bed. Still looking pretty sleepy she entered the kitchen. "Whoa, didn't know the congress decided to meet in our kitchen." She just said because she was more than surprised to find a crowd of people standing in the ktichen.

Irene giggled at that and extended her hand to Jinny. "I'm Irene."

"Hi Irene. I'm Jinny! I guess you're Nate's little cute sister he's talking about so much!" Jinny answered and smiled. Then she looked over to CD and Nate. "Since you all woke me up, do I got breakfast in return?"

Irene held the bag out to her. "Here."

"Wow, thanks, Irene. That looks pretty nice!" Jinny took the bag and palced the contents on the table.

Irene grinned. So far she liked Jinny too.

Nate was glad they got along. "Well, Jinny. There you got your breakfast." Then he lifted his eyebrows. "I guess something's missing. I'll go down and get it. CD, could you help me with that?" He smirked.

CD nodded. "Sure." Then she looked at Irene. "Typically your brother huh? Forgets something in the car and needs help to retreive it."

Irene giggled again and nodded. "Dumb Nate." She looked at him.

Jinny just grinned. "Well, then Irene. Let's not wait until they're back. Coffee is getting cold." She offered her a cup. "So, how are you doing?"

Irene started to tell Jinny all kinds of random things about the home and her friend Robert.

As soon as the door was closed Nate turned around and kissed CD passionately. "I've missed you so much!" He kissed her again. "And actually I'm not dumb since it was my way of getting to kiss you."

CD kissed him back passionately. "I know. Smart Nate." She grinned. "Sexy Nate..."

He grinned. "I'm sexy?" He pulled her close because he needed to feel her body next to him. His hand was running through her hair. "You're so damn beautiful!"

She kissed him again hungrily and wrapped her arms around him closely. "I wish we were alone."

"I wish that too, more than anything else now!" He sighed. "But I guess we have no chance of being alone and we couldn't let Jinny and Irene wait too long."

She nodded and kissed him again. "Did you really forget something?"

"Well, actually I planned on forgeting something." He grinned and took her hand. At his car he gave her two boxes with orange juice. "You can carry them, can't you?" He smirked. "I'm already carrying the responsibility and the keys."

CD laughed. "Yeah... my strong man." She leaned in to kiss him again.

"Mhm" He closed his eyes. "I really can get used to this!" Then they entered the apartmant again.

Jinny already shouted: "Hey, where have you two been? Where the hell did Nate park his car?" When she saw CD carrying two boxes of orange juice and Nate nothing she was very surprised. "Don't get me wrong Nate, but weren't you able to get these two alone?"

Nate swallowed. "Well, uhm, you know how this goes. I had to carry the responsibility."

"If you ask me he's completely overpowered by that alone." CD said winking at Irene and put the boxes down.

Irene giggled again and reached for the juice and filled the glasses.

"Hey!" Nate protested. "I'm stronger than anyone else in this room!"

Jinny just grinned. "Right Nate. Well, guys. Then let's just eat breakfast. Coffee is close to be cold."

They spent breakfast chatting with Irene and listening to her stories. She also told them about her nightmare and by now it was clear that it hadn't even been that bad. She was happy again and they all had fun during breakfast. Irene was overjoyed to have found a new friend in Jinny.

"Well, okay. Don't wanna break the party. But I guess we gotta go to work soon." Jinny finally said. This has been a real great breakfast being together like a whole big family.

Nate looked at his watch. "Yeah, it's time to go, I guess. Unless you want Cap your ass ..." He grinned.

Irene nodded. "I need to get back too. I promised to help Robert in the garden today."

"Okay then let's go." CD put the dishes into the dishwasher quickly. "I'm ready."

"Okay" Nate took the leftovers with him again and then they went down to his car. "So everyone grab a seat please!"

At first they dropped Irene off and Nate accompanied her to the building. "Bye sweety. I'll call you, okay?" He kissed her on the forehead.

She hugged him and grinned. "Jinny is nice too. But I still think CD should be your girlfriend"

Nate just smiled. "Well, maybe one fine day... you'll never know!"

She grinned and hugged him again and then saw Robert and hurried off to him. Nate chuckled. He was really glad he had managed to cheer her up again. Smiling he walked back to the car and got in again and started the engine. "I hope you didn't mind that I invited Irene for breakfast" He said and looked at CD next to him and then at Jinny in the rearview mirror.

"No, how could we mind? I really like her!" CD answered and looked over to him. "And I don't think Jinny did mind ... " She turned around to face her.

Jinny shook her head. "No I don't. She's a great girl, you can be proud of her." She smiled.

"So, did you get much sleep after the stake out?" CD asked Nate. She would have loved to sleep a little longer this morning but that wasn't possible.

Nate shook his head. "None at all. I went to Irene immediately and she was crying so hard because of her nightmare, I'm just glad I calmed her down again."

"You're a great big brother, I think. And how you care about her ... I wish I have had such a big brother." CD responded and sighed slightly.

Nate smiled at her. "Hey I might not be your big brother, but you still have me partner." He looked deep into her eyes.

Jinny smiled at that. They cared for each other so much. She wondered what would have been if they weren't partners. She smiled and looked down to the ground and then frowned as something there caught her eye.

CD couldn't help but respond to his gaze. She would have loved to say how much they were more than partners but there was still Jinny in the back...

"Now now Nate." Jinny grinned and picked up the bra that she had just found. "Care to explain this?" She held it up grinning.

CD frowned at that. They had completely forgotten to get her bra. She didn't say a thing and hoped that Nate would manage to get out of this situation without any harm.

"Ehhhh...." He blushed and cleared his throat. "I ... uh..."

CD crossed her arms. Somehow this was getting interesting. "So? Which girl had to leave her beautiful bra for ... I don't know, chocolate, maybe?" She smirked.

He gave her a small glare. "I forgot her name actually."

Jinny raised her eyebrows and handed him the bra and looked at CD. "I had no idea that your partner is such a Don Juan... but then again you're good at collecting notches on your belt yourself lately, eh?" She teased them both.

CD was confused. "Jinny, what do you mean? It's not like I'm collecting the boxers of my lovers ...." By then she realized that Nate still had her panties from last night as well. "And about Nate... you really don't wanna know what he's up to when it's about women..." She grinned.

Nate rolled his eyes. "You two are just jealous." He smirked as he pulled up at the station.

Jinny laughed. "In your dreams playboy."

"Yeah, just in your dreams." CD added. But in her thoughts she added 'Well, I would be jealous if you started collecting notches of women. Okay, more than jealous. I would probably kill them.'

"I'd love to tell you more about my dreams but work's waiting." He winked at CD.

As Kate saw CD, Nate and Jinny enter too now, she walked out of her office. "Hey guys. Ready for a brandnew day here?" She smiled, somehow she had woken up very good mooded today.

"Well, I don't know about the two ladies here but I'm more than ready Cap!" Nate smirked at CD and Jinny.

Jinny just sighed. "Morning Cap. Well, I haven't planned anything else so I'm here ... I guess ... somehow." Although they have had much fun in the car her mood wasn't that good. She couldn't sleep the night very well because she had dreamed about Teddy and woke up then shortly before she saw CD come home.

CD frowned and looked over at Jin. She sounded sad somehow and that worried her. But then Kate's voice made her look back at her boss again.

"So Magda told me you guys worked things out again." She said and as Jinny nodded she smiled glad about that. "Great. Then it's back to the old partners again."

"YES!" CD announced happily. Maybe a little bit too overeager about that fact.

Jinny looked in CD's direction and lifted one eyebrow. "Everything's okay? I mean it seems like you've won a competition or something?"

Nate just grinned. He knew why she'd reacted like that but never the less he loved to tease her. "Care to explain that ... 'partner'?"

CD rolled her eyes and pointed at Magda. "Need more as explanation?"

That wasn't exactly the explanation Nate would have loved to hear but the others were satisfied.

Magda glared at her. "I could say the same about you."

"Ladies ... " Nate acted like he was the 'wise old man'. "Don't be childish here!"

"The only one who's acting childish here is you!" Jinny replied.

"What, you want a fight?" CD glared back at Magda.

"Wow, yeah!!! Let's go down to the beach!!! Women fighting in underwear!!!" Nate grinned from ear to ear.

Upon that CD and Magda looked at each other and then walked up to Nate. "Nate, do both of us a favor and ban me from your fantasies again." CD said and sat down at her desk. But of course she was glad to be the center of his fantasies.

Magda smirked at him. "If you wanna see me in underwear, anytime baby." She whispered and then walked up to Jinny.

"Come on, we have work to do!" Jinny went off with Magda.

Nate rushed over to CD and sat down next to her. "Heard that? She did it again." He told her.

CD looked up at him. "Well I gotta admit I provoked her. Maybe she isn't all that bad, but she and I just can't work together. That's why I'm glad to have you as my partner again."

He shook his head. "No no no. You don't understand! She offered herself to me!!!!"

CD looked up at him and raised her eyebrow. "No way! You're my partner! I mean I don't mind working with Jinny, but you and I are partners and that's that." Then she looked a little uncertain. "Right?"

"Right, yes of course .... argh!" Nate growled in frustration. "But that wasn't what I meant. Magda flirted with me and offered me sex like she has done it before!!!"

CD had to snort at that. "Nate. That woman is married and has a lover on the side... don't you think she's a little too busy to ehhh fit you into her schedule as well?" She laughed. "If you're trying to get me jealous, that isn't working."

"Nooooo ..." Nate just whined. "Why can't you believe me? I have no intention to make you jealous and since you haven't realized that Magda is screwing her way through half of San Francisco and she doesn't care about her husband or lover. And she offered sex to me at least three times!"

"Right." CD said, obviously not quite believing that. Not her Nate.

"Well, okay. If you don't believe me ... next time she's offering I'll accept. Maybe you'll believe me then!" Nate was mad at CD because she didn't believe him. "Excuse me now. I gotta go to the toilet." He stormed of to the men's locker room.

CD growled and threw her hands in the air. She looked around but Kate was in her office, Magda and Jinny were gone and Raina was somewhere else too. The others appeared to be very busy so she got up too and followed him. She made sure no one was looking again before she sneaked into the men's room too.

"Since you're deaf seems like you can't read either. This is the 'men's locker room'!" Nate said angrily while washing his hands.

"I never said I don't believe you!" She said angrily. "But come on... there must be some explanation." She ignored his comment and thought for a while. "That's it!. I got it. Lily. Lily wants you back and convinced Mag to test the waters."

"To test the waters?" Nate wasn't sure what she meant.

"Yes. If you appear to be pleased about her offers she'll tell her lil sis she has another chance and next thing you'll know you have Lily hanging around your neck again."

"I don't want to have to do anything with her again!" Nate stated. "But I don't think it's about Lily. I just guess Magda is some kinda woman who wants to have sex with every single man on this damn planet plus she doens't like you!"

"But she doesn't know about you and me. You know what Nate? This really is tiring. You interprete way too much into whatever she said, I'm sure. Magda isn't all THAT bad. She has her good sides too. Like.... like .... when.... when she...." She thought hard. "She was there for Ben when he had leukemia." Of course that was only natural for a mother to be with her son then. But it was the first thing that came to CD's mind.

"She was hardly there for Ben! She always was looking for a man whom she could make feeling sorry for 'her' bad situation and getting sex then!" Nate answered harshly.

CD sighed. "Nate, why are we even argueing about this? Can't we just forget about Magda?"

Nate sighed too. "You're right. I was just a little bit overreacting. She isn't worth it. I wish I could just kill her." Slowly he went over to CD and took her in an embrace, his head resting on her shoulder.

CD hugged him back and kissed his temple. "Or maybe she's suspecting something about us and is trying to get you to admit that... we have to be careful."

"Yeah, and why are you kissing me right here where someone could come in at anytime?" He smirked and kissed her lips even more intensively.

"Because I'm helplessly addicted and running into my own destruction." She whispered against his lips before deepeining the kiss even more.

Nate couldn't help but answer her kiss though he knew that someone could come in. His hands were slipping under her shirt und caressing her back. "Oh I just wish we were somewhere else!" he whispered.

"Yeah me too." She agreed as her hands found their way under his shirt.

There shouldn't be a crowd outside so I guess it should work when I just follow you and slip out right after you and walk along the hallway. That way it'll seem as if I was just walking along the hallway... or?"

"Sounds good. Let's find out if it works!" he grinned and stole another kiss from her before he opened the door of the restroom.

She quickly followed him and did what she had said and didn't look at him at all as she walked along the hallway. It was hard for her not to grin broadly but she managed to keep a straight face and walked up to the vending machines.

Nate turned and pretended like he'd just found her. "Oh, CD here you are. Cap wants to see us!"

"Wonder what she wants." She gave him a small smile and then handed him a chocolate bar. "Want this?"

"Always" He grinned and took the chocolate."Thanks!" He was about to place a soft kiss on her cheek when Raina came in. "Wanna share the secret with me?" It hadn't looked obvious to her.

"What secret?" CD frowned

"He was about to tell you!" Raina said. "Is everything alright?"

"That depends, you know what Kate wants from us?" CD asked her.

"Don't know. Keeping you two busy I guess ... " Disappointed that she didn't get to know a secret she went off.

CD rolled her eyes, looked at Nate, shrugged and then walked into Kate's office.

"Ah, there you are!" Kate said and pointed at the seats. "Would you please explain me where you've been? You were supposed to go to a crime scene and I should have had your reports from yesterday on my desk but I don't. Mind me telling what's going on?" Kate was pretty pissed since she had had an argument yesterday with her lover.

"What? What crime scene? The robbery yesterday?" She had no idea what was going on.

"I wanted your reports about THAT crime scene!!! And you should have gone to the rape incident. I told Magda to tell you!" Kate was more than furious.

Nate remainded calm. He knew CD would handle this better than he would.

"Bad mistake. Magda is still pissed at us, she didn't tell us a thing." CD said and realized Kate wasn't that angry because of the report. "Hey Nate, can you go and find Magda and ask her about that?" She knew Kate long enough to know that she needed to talk now.

"Huh?" Nate looked puzzled but then understood her gaze. "Mhm, okay. See you later!" He left the room.

"How about I'll buy you a coffee?" CD asked and smiled at Kate.

Kate sighed. "That would be great, thanks!"

Together they went to the Anchorside and sat down in a booth. After ordering their coffees CD looked over at her boss and friend. She had a hunch that something about her ex-husband and boyfriend bothered her. "How's Louis?" She asked.
She sighed even more. "I don't know. Haven't seen him for two days .... " Her voice trailed off.

"Hmh." CD sighed. "Is he still mad because you didn't give up your job?"

"Yes and we keep on arguing about it ... last night we argued over the phone and he said something about leaving ...... me." Her voice was just a whisper now. Slowly she sipped her coffee.

CD reached over and put her hand over Kate's. "If he can't support you to live the life you want to live then maybe that's for the best." She said sadly. "Did you talk to Amanda about it?"

"Not yet and somehow I'm afraid of telling her. Oh CD, don't get me worng. I love Louis. But..." She fought back her tears

CD nodded. "Yeah I know... I'm probably the last one who should give advice... I mean look at me. Paul treated me like dirt but I kept on taking him back every time... but today I regret that. I'm so glad that I finally got rid of him. I had no idea what real happiness is until I met... someone new. You don't deserve to be so unhappy Kate, you're an amazing mom, and the best Captain we've ever had. You made the right decision. We'd be lost without you. And if you ask me, the added stress that led to your stroke was not from the work side of your life... you know how to balance the Division so it doesn't get too much, neither for yourself, nor for us. I mean of course, we do have crazy days at times, but all in all everything's going smootly, isn't it?"

"Yeah, you're right ... gosh, I hate it when you're right ..." She smiled a little bit. "I guess I'll have one last talk with him ...."

CD smiled a little. "I'm always right." She winked at her. "Especially when Nate is wrong."

"Nate huh?" Kate smiled again. "Mind me asking you something?"

She shook her head. "Shoot."

"I mean you've been working with Nate now for a long time and he's very handsome, cute .... Didn't it ever come to your mind to hook up with him?" Kate smirked forgetting her own problems for some minutes.

“No of course not!" CD had to lie. "You don't have to remind me of the rules... partners are taboo when it comes to the bedroom."

"Well, some rules are worth breaking them ..." Kate grinned.

"And that from my boss..." She chuckled

"Well, yeah. You too are so cute together and sometimes you seem like an old married couple..." She teased her inspector.

"We're partners... of course we're close..." She mumbled. "Why.. why are you asking? Is Raina spreading rumors or what?"

"Nothing what I haven't seen with my own eyes. I might not be so young anymore but my eyes are still very good ..." She grinned.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" CD asked defensively.

"Whoa, you're way to aggressive here. I mean you have nothing to hide so why be embarassed and defensive?" Kate looked at her.

"I am not embarassed!" She protested. "I just don't like it when people start to get nosy about my social life!"

"Are you seeing someone, CD?" Kate asked.

"Right now I'm seeing you, directly in front of me." CD cracked.

Kate rolled her eyes. "Well, I mean a man ..."

She sighed because Kate hadn't let that slip. "Uhhh... not exactly..."

"So, yes or no??? You can't 'not exactly' date a man, can you?" She didn’t let her off the hook.

"No." She sighed again, hating it to lie about Nate.

"How long has it been since you had sex the last time? That could be the reason why you're so aggressive ..." She lifted one exebrow.

CD choked on her coffee at that question and blushed. "I'm not agressive!" She protested though. "And as for the sex..." She knew that 'about 15 minutes ago Nate and I did it like they do it on the Discovery Channel in the guy's room' wasn't a possible answer now, even though it was the truth.

"Yes?" Kate smiled at her curiously.

"Not too long ago..." CD simply replied.

"Oh, okay ..." Kate loved teasing her but she knew when it was enough. "So, we better get back to the Division. You and Nate still have a case to solve!"

CD nodded. "Yeah, and I have to rescue him from Magda." They paid for their coffees and walked back into the Division.

"Ah, there you are. Where have you been? I've found Magda and she felt sooooo sooooorrry for not telling us ..." Nate added something like "bitch" but no one could hear it.

CD laughed at that and nodded. "Oh yeah. Come on, we better catch up with that case now, huh?"

"Yeah, let's go!" Outside in the car he asked her: "So, where have you been? Is Kate alright?"

She nodded. "Not quite alright, but feeling better already..." She looked up to the windows of their Division, where unbeknownst to them Kate was giving Louis a juicy speech over the phone. "I'm glad we have her as Captain." CD added and then drove off.

"Yeah, she's a great person." Then he changed the subject. "Hey, what about dinner at my place tonight? No one will be there and interupt us ... 'wathcing a move' ....!" He smirked.

"Nate, if you wanna watch porn I don't have to come over for that." She teased him and grinned.

“Well, I was thinking of 'watching' my own 'porn' ...." He grinned even broader.

She gave him a look at that. "Now is that supposed to tempt me? An invitation to watch a cheap homevideo that you made of you and one of your exes? No really Nate..." She just loved to tease him even though she knew exactly what he meant.

Nate groaned in frustration. "You know what I mean ..." he sounded like a little child. "But well then. I'll be satisfied by pleasuring myself tonight ...." He cross folded his arms in front of his chest.

"Ooooh, now THAT I'd like to see." She smirked.

"You won't get to ... since you don't wanna come over tonight!" He said.

"I didn't say I don't wanna come over. But I have high demands... I just wasn't tempted by your first suggestions." She grinned. "But now I am."

"Well, means you're coming?" He grinned.

"If you keep your promise." She grinned.

"Uhm, which promise?" He slightly blushed.

She laughed. "Nevermind Nate. I can't wait to come over."

"Oh okay." He was more than glad that she didn't ‘remember’ his statement about ‘self-pleasuring’.

She chuckled and then pulled up at the crime scene.

When they took a look around at the crime scene and talked to a couple of witnesses and the victim, it soon was pretty clear that the victims ex-husband had been the rapist. And she already had a good idea where he could be now. So CD and Nate drove there next.

When they got there the ex husband made no attemp to flee and admitted the rape instantly.

"That was the easiest case I had for a long time!" Nate said and smiled.

CD nodded. "Even though Magda tried to sabotage us." They brought the guy in and locked him up in a holding cell before finishing up the paperwork of this and some other cases that Kate had wanted.

Later that day Nate went home preparing dinner for CD and him. He'd set up the table and the room with candles everywhere. He wanted this to be perfect.

CD had told Jinny that she still had to take care of something and probably would be late again. Of course Jinny had come to her own conclusions and just told her to be safe and have fun. So now CD was standing in front of Nate's door, wearing a nice dress and a bottle of wine in her hands.

Nate paced impatiently through his apartment awaiting her arrival. He had never been so nervous before and he had no clue why now.

Nervously CD knocked at his door and waited for him to finally open the damn thing

Nate heard the knock and opened the door. "Hey!" he saided and lead her in. When he'd closed the door he leaned in to kiss her.

She leaned in herself and they shared a surprisingly innocent kiss. "Hey."

"You're late!" he teased and took her jacket from her. Then he lead her into the living room where he'd set up everything.

"Yeah, 3 minutes." She rolled her eyes.

He grinned. "Well, today I'll be nice and oversee it." He smiled when he went into the kitchen to get the pasta. "Here we go .."

"Wow that smells great." She said and looked a him shocked. "Nathan Basso, don't tell me you actually cooked yourself, and that for me?"

"Uhm, though it might taste horrible but yes, I cooked it myself." This had been the first time he actually had cooked for a woman. On his other dates he'd ordered food and told his dates that he cooked it. But CD was different ...

"That's so cute." She kissed his cheek and sat down.

He smiled and sat down across her. "So, do you think anyone knows about us?"

She sighed and shrugged. "Apparently there are rumors... but just from whatever Raina is telling around. And Kate asked me today what I think about you beyond the professional level, but I think she was just testing me and wanted to make sure Raina's rumors are just that, rumors.

"Mhm, testing you, but Kate knows you very well, don't you think she's just more thn testing?" He asked.

She shrugged. "She said 'Some rules are made to be broken'." She sighed. "But even if we tell her... imagine one day somebody finds out she knew about us and didn't do anything. She'd never make Chief then."

"Yeah, you're right." He sighed although he'd love to tell anyone about their relationship. "And what about Jinny?"

"I wish we could tell her. She thinks I'm sleeping around already and is worried about me. But she's Magda's partner... and more importantly she has to get her own life completely back under control again first before we can put our burden on her... and that's another reason why we can't tell it Kate as well by the way. She has a lot of problems on her own at the moment. Unless one of us transfers into another Division, then we can make it public without problems."

Nate stood up and sighed. "Seems like we're the only ones who can share our happiness with." He went behind her and started massaging her neck.

She leaned into his touch and sighed. "How can something that feels so right be so wrong?"

“I don't know." He leanded close and started nibbling on her ear but he didn't stop the massage.

Leaning up she wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and held him there. "You realize that you're the one who made me see the light of the sun instead of feeling bad about its heat?"

"I could have said the same about you ..." He kissed her hair.

She got up and turned around to face him. "Oh Nate."

He'd waited for her to stand up. Now he slung his arms around her and took her into a deep kiss.

She kissed him back with the same fire, overly happy to be in his arms again.

His hands slid under her shirt and softly caressed her back

She deepened the kiss and slowly undressed him.

He did the same with her and then slowly picked her up and carried her to his bedroom where he'd laid down thousands of roses. "Remember the song by Bon Jovi? I always wanted to lay you down on a bed of roses though you deserve more" he whispered and gently placed her right in the middle of the bed. He sat down next to her and started caressing her cheek. Then he softly started singing:

Embarrassed he looked everywhere but not at her.

She smiled broadly and kissed him passionately.

"Liked it?" he asked shyly. He'd never sung for someone before.

"Loved it." she snuggled close to him and kissed all over his perfect body.

He laid down and ran his hands all over her body. "Good, because if you didn't I would have had to tickle you!" He joked and kissed the tip of her nose.

She chuckled and ran her hands through his hair.

"But I can do it anyways ..." His hand ran down to her side and started tickeling. Then he rolled over so that he could hold her done with his weight and tickled her even more.

"Noooo Nate no!" She squirmed around and yelped and giggled and tried to tickle him back

"Mhm, sorry to tell you that there's just one part of my body where I'm ticklish and that's my feet." He grinned. "What will I get if I let you go?"

"A kick in the ass!" She stuck her tongue out at him

"Well okay, then I won't let you go!" He tickled her once more.


"Oh you won't let me?" She slipped her leg behind his and took his wrists and tossed him onto his back so she was on top now. "Won't let me, huh?" Now she was holding him in place and tickling him.

"Uhm, well, .... where the hell did you learn that?" he asked in surprise

"My boxing coach." She grinned.

"So, uhm, I guess I'm not in the position for any demands, am I?" He smiled at her.

"Nope." She tickled him even more.

"Hey, that's somehow not fair!!!" he breathed heavily

"I didn't get to complain either!" But she stopped and kissed him.

He was quickly in for the kiss and offered his mouth to hers. He led his toungue slid into her mouth, exploring every single spot.

She greeted his tongue with her own, kissing him full of love and desire.

Nate suddenly pulled back and stroked her hair behind her ear. "Hey, what was all that talking about porn earlier by the way?"

"Hey, you have a camcorder?" She whispered while her hands caressed his butt.

"Yeah why?" He frowned and then grinned. "You mean....?"

"I mean nothing ...." She smirked. "Yeah .... if you want ...."

"Hell yeah." He nodded. "If you want to that is..."

"Sure I want ...." She kissed him deeply.

He kissed her back with fire. "Okay then." He pulled back. "I'll be right back..."

"I won't go away" She rolled on her side and supported her head with her hand.

"Good." He grinned and rushed out of the room to come back a while later with his camera and switched it on. "Hey baby."

"Hey, sexiest man alive!" She blew him a kiss.

He laughed. "Hey sexiest woman alive." Then he put the cam down and climbed back into bed with her.

"I missed you!" She whispered into his ear and started nibbling at his earlobe. Somehow this whole video thing turned her on.

"I missed you too." He grinned and moaned at her kiss and caressed her all over her body.

CD rolled over so that she was on top. She placed soft kisses all over his chest and then slowly moved downwards until she met his growing erection. Softly she placed a kiss on the top of it while her hands caressed the skin around it.

"Oh god" He moaned and after she had pleased him for a while he gently pushed her back onto the bed and started to kiss her at her toes and kissed all his way up to her mouth and down again until he had found her clit and returned the favor.

"Oh God" she moaned heavily und quickly pulled him up to her. "Stop teasing buddy, or I'll get very angry ...." She kissed him hard and passionately. "I love you!"

Nate climaxed together with her and nodded. "Oh yeah." He whispered still panting and held her close to him. Kissing her temple he grinned at her. "Wanna watch it?"

"That's a promise, not a warning." He smirked at her and wrapped a blanket around her and carried her into the livingroom and the hooked the camera up to the TV.

"Come over here, FAST!" She patted on the place of the sofa next to her.

Nate smirked at her and leaped over, landing next to her. Smirking he switched on the TV with his remote control. "Ready for the show?" He grinned broadly, prepared to start it.

She snuggled close "Yeah,baby!" Just before Nate could press the button CD’s cell rang. "Damned thing!" She jumped up and searched for it. "Be right back!"

She answered it: "DeLorenzo and if this isn't urgent ..."

"CD?" Jinny sobbed and sniffed. "I'm sorry... nevermind." She hung up again not wanting to disturb her.

"Oh, damend." She called Jinny back. "Hey sweety, you never disturb. What's wrong?"

"Nothing... I... I'm sorry, it isn't urgent." Jinny sighed.

"Seems like it is. You at home?" CD asked being worried about her bestfriend.

"Yeah." Jinny nodded. "Can you come back?" She sniffed again. She was PMSing and out of the sudden all the memories had crashed down on her and she didn't want to be alone anymore.

Worried Nate looked over at CD.

"Sure, I'll be ther in a second." She hang up and sighed. "Sorry, but I guess Jinny needs me!" She kissed Nate on his nose

"Is she okay?" Nate asked

"Well, not exactly. She needs me!" CD hurried and gathered her clothes together. "You're not mad at me, are you?"

"Of course not. Go." He quickly helped her gather her stuff but then kissed her again. "I love you"

"I love you too!" She kissedhim back. "And pay attention on that video!" She grinned.

"Aww I won't watch it without you." He kissed her again.

"You better not ..." She ksised him one last time and giggled cause she was completely dressed and he stood there bare naked.

He smiled at her and kissed her once more before she left. Sighing he decided to at least make a tape already and switched on the VCR but then went to his bed, which still smelled like CD.

CD rushed home and entered her apartment. Though she'd loved to be with nate atm but Jinny needed her. "Jinny? I'm here. Where are you?"

"Here" Jinny held her hand up. She was sitting on the couch in the livingroom, cradling CD's Teddy in her arms.

"Awww, sweety." CD sat down next to her and hugged her tightly.

okay so... since someone isn't talking to me anymore I decided to continue this story alone. Whatever comes next was written just by me. (unless I say different LOL)

Jinny sobbed at that and hugged her. “I’m such a slut!” She announced and buried her head in CD’s shoulder.

“Shhhh.” Rubbing over her back CD tried to soothe her and then sniffed at her. “Is that what I think it is?”

Sobbing again Jinny nodded. “I knew I shouldn’t have... and it wasn’t mine... and I figured what the hell...”

“Okay okay, start at the beginning... I’ll go make a tea.” Announcing that CD got up and walked over to the kitchen from where she still could see her friend.

Following her Jinny wiped her tears away. “I wanted to watch TV, but everything was boring... so I decided to go for a run instead... I passed a bar... happy drinking people everywhere, but I didn’t drink. I resisted even when a guy who walked into the bar wanted to buy me a drink.” Taking a deep breath she took a cup of hot steaming tea from CD before she continued. “So I continued to run and ended up at the park. I stumbled over some... I don’t know, a can of soda or some trash, and this guy was right behind me and caught me.”

The two women went back to the livingroom. “And he was the one with the...” CD started.

Cutting her off again Jinny continued. “Yeah. I noticed that I probably had overdone it when I wanted to get away from the alcohol and the bar. I thanked him and tried to catch my breath.” She sighed. “Suddenly he recognized me... apparently he and I went to highschool together. I didn’t remember him though, but he was all happy to see a familiar face, and he then offered me a drink, to celebrate. Of course I said no again... but then he offered me ‘at least a cigarette.’ “ Quoting him Jinny sighed again. “And I felt somewhat bad for turning him down already and didn’t wanna say no again, so I accepted.” She sighed again. “When I relaized that it was pot it was too late already... I was so high.... and he was hitting on me heavily... we talked some... he started to kiss me, I kissed him back... and soon we were on a secluded bench...” Swallowing she paused to take a sip of her tea.

“Oh Jin.” CD felt bad because she hadn’t been there.

With another sigh Jinny continued. “We kissed some more, he told me how he wanted me, I told him that I wanted him too... because I had been thinking about Teddy and missed him like crazy, and I figured maybe some good sex would help me to get over him again.” At that Jinny had to laugh and CD gave her a weird look. “Oh boy, I’m tellin ya,” she explained, “there’s one thing that I realized with him....” She couldn’t help but giggle again.

“Oh yeah?” CD asked frowning. “And what’s that?”

Jinny now burst out laughing completely. “Dude...” She put her hand on CD’s shoulder and looked into her eyes, trying to be stern. “Size DOES matter.” She said seriously and both women started to laugh even more before Jinny managed to say something else between giggles. “That was the smallest dick I’ve ever seen!”

CD laughed as well. “Hell I know whatcha mean about size...” She had to smirk though. “Na....” Swallowing she stopped and then giggled.

“Na...?” Smirking Jinny raised her eyebrow at her. “And then te?” She laughed.

“Actually yeah, Nate... but not THAT Nate... I met this guy tonight, and his name happened to be Nate as well...” CD was praying that Jinny would buy that.

“Weird.” Jinny giggled. “He had a tiny dick too?”

“Not at all! He has the biggest one I’ve ever seen!” Smirking CD continued. “And I had the best sex of my life!”

Laughing Jinny nodded. “I’d say I had the worst sex of my life but... hell, I was all ready... he tried to turn me on, but he was just hitting the wrong spots. So I started to imagine he was Teddy... and I got wet, so I was all ready, and of course the idiot didn’t have a condom, but I had, so I gave him mine, he put it on, I spread my legs some more and he tried to entered me.... but he couldn’t even find....” She burst out laughing again and CD couldn’t hold back anymore either.

Once they had regained their composure again somewhat CD looked at her. “Really? He didn’t find it?”

“Well he did find my ass at some point. Then I told him that it was my behind and not what he had been looking for and he just went ‘oh’ and I tried to help him, but he got lost all the more... so he started to go down on me again, and that wasn’t all that bad actually...” She trailed off.

“Let me guess, you had your eyes closed and imagined he was a certain someone again?” CD asked and Jinny nodded.

“Then he suddenly stopped and looked around and said he had heard voices.... and was all turned off now... idiot.” Rolling her eyes she took another sip of her tea. “So I wanted to turn him on again but he had LOST the damn comdom!”

“Oh geez!” Shaking her head CD took a sip of her own tea. “And then?”

“Of course that was my only condom.” Shrugging Jinny put her cup down. “So we kissed some more and I gave him a phonenumber when he asked me for mine.”

“You actually gave him your number?” CD asked.

Laughing Jinny shook her head. “No... I just gave him some weird number that probably doesn’t even exist.” She laughed some harder. “Or who knows... maybe he’s gonna try to call and then has ‘Chihuahua’s Chinese Chicken’ on the other end of the line.” Snorting she looked at CD. “You remember that idiot?”

Nodding CD grinned. She had an all too vivid memory of ‘that idiot’ and couldn’t wait to be with him again.

“Hell at least I didn’t drink tonight!” Hugging her friend Jinny yawned. “And I learned two things... One: Never accept ‘cigarettes’ from anybody.... and two...” Snorting again she winked at CD.

Both women then said in unision: “Size DOES matter!” And laughed wholeheartedly.

They continued to chat some more until they fell asleep on the couch, leaning against each other.
