I haven't thought about this movie in a while, but has anyone seen Jacob's Ladder?

It's a pretty scary mind trip. The first time I saw it as one of the most intense movie experiences I ever had.
Subsequent viewings lose a lot of that effect, of course.

Boy, it leaves you with a lot of questions.

It is a very scary mind trip. It's a very cool and creative movie. I recommend it to anyone who likes scary movies. I once tried to show it to a girlfriend and she made me turn it off after ten minutes...he he.

Didn't Elizabeth Pena & Tim Robbins have sex in the movie? She was his girlfriend wasn't she? I haven't seen the movie but i remember seeing previews for it back in the day. Elizabeth Pena is attractive. I saw her in Gridlock'd movie with rapper 2Pac & i saw her in Rush Hour with Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker.

With that scene I'm going by memory here, so I'm not 100% positive.

But Tim Robbins is a Vietnam vet who is having all sorts hallucinations and freaky experiences. So I think in his scene with her he was having some sort of freak out. Which didn't make it very sexy. I know in one scene Pena is dancing with someone at a party and Robin sees part of the guy morphing into a snakelike thing slithing around her body.

I don't know, I'd have to see it again, but it is not very sexual in the usual sense. To compare, that scene in Angel Heart is more erotic, for lack of a better word.

Jacob's Ladder is a mind trip.
I suggest you watch it in the dark, alone, and be ready to be wigged out.

I went to imdb.com & saw that Eriq La Salle & Ving Rhames are in the movie also. I didn't know they were in it. I don't think i wanna see this movie either. I don't like scary nasty flicks with a lot of blood & gore.
