Exactly- I live in a pretty small town and just about everyone new you meet is somebody's friend, someone elses ex, somebodys brother-in-law, etc.... Plus everyone knows everyone elses business which can really strain relationships. Also just because you're in a small town doesn't mean you'll have less opportunities to meet other people.
