I'm on XP at home too, and I got it. :crying: I would be online for no longer than two minutes when the 59-second countdown kicked in...I would sometimes get an error about a Generic Win32 thing or whatever it was... Crystal (MsConanOBrien) got it too and she made a thread about it that went for nearly 10 pages...it's somewhere down this page or on the 2nd page. Guys shoulda had the patch in the first place ;) Its also on saturday gonna try to do a Denial Of Service (DOS) Attack on Windowsupdate.com to try to bring it down... Truth 08-15-2003, 11:18 AM This worm is supposed to when the clocks reach saturday, on each computer send out 50 packets a second to www.windowsupdate.com in an attempt to crash it so people can't get the patches.... Its infected over 300,000 computers... so that would be a lot of packets sent to the windowsupdate.com Its already Saturday in Russia.. and well I can't get onto windowsupdate.com.... Is it being down related to this?
