Yeah, I like Chico and the Man so I thought it about time I voted for him.
I used to watch it on TVLand, too and I really hope they bring it back. I wish networks would leave shows alone! You have over 160 on tape? That's incredible. I have so many tapes around here, full of movies and now of The Incredible Hulk. I need to stock up again.

Yeah i am a tape freak. I have every episode of Barney Miller that Tv Land was allowed to show, including some shows ,like the infamous HASH epsiode, where they all got stoned from the hash laced brownies from Wojo's hippie girlfriend, from other fans of the show. I also have every episode of My Favorite MArtian, 5 seasons worth of The Love Boat, 30 episodes of Good Times, every episode of Sanford And Son, also in my collection are shows that Bill Bixby and Ron Glass appeared as guest stars, like an episode of the Andy Griffith Show that Bill appeared in 1961 and a very young Ron Glass in his very first television appearance on Sanford and Son back in 1972.:)

My gosh, woman! Seriously, that's impressive. And I thought I taped everything.. I almost taped The Apple Dumpling Gang last week. I have a few interviews of Bill Bixby, and once those Hulk DVD episodes come out, I am buying them. Ohh, and a few years ago, I bought an Incredible Hulk lunchbox from The Cracker Barrell. I can't stop. hahaha :)

Yeah, same here! I won't ever remember him the way he was in that interview, not ever. When I think of him, he's the same guy I watched growing up.

I have seen recent pics of Ron, ewwww, I do not like old men, I mean ron was 29 years old when he started out on Barney Miller and when the show ended he was 36 going on 37, but then I saw an interview of him from African-Americans Comedy and he looked stunningly handsome, oh well, maybe I need to see more of him what he looks today.:)

It's like a slap in the face with reality when you think of them as they were then, compared to how they appear today isn't it? If you decide to watch him on Firefly, just pretend he's still back on Barney Miller.

I used to watch that show all the time with ALF being another favorite at the time, now I watch shows that I hated as a kid, like Barney Miller and Sanford and Son and All in the Family. Shows I loathed, now I love, it is funny how your tastes change when you become older:lol:

Anthony, I know what ya mean. Suddenly you're having to grow up and it sucks. But like Foxy-T said, your 20s can be a wonderful time, seriously. Just don't go thinking you're "old" just because you're no longer a teenager!

Anthony, I know what ya mean. Suddenly you're having to grow up and it sucks. But like Foxy-T said, your 20s can be a wonderful time, seriously. Just don't go thinking you're "old" just because you're no longer a teenager!
I think that the 20's are just an extension of the teenage years, except for the fact that you gain more wisdom, maturation, and experience (as far as life in general).

Oh yeah, Square Pegs.......how many episodes were there (since the show was for 1 season)?
The Classic Episode Guides website shows that there were only 20 made between September '82 and March of '83. That's a show that never should've been cancelled. :(
Foxy-T, I'd like to be the program director of both SciFi and TVLand. :)
Lady T 08-20-2003, 12:55 AM One thing I did not like about TV Land was that is skipped a lot of episodes, especially from Barney Miller, because certain episodes dealt with Bombs, and since 9/11 it was not politically correct to show shows that had a bomb theme epecially since it took place at a New York police station, which stunk, because I would love to have every episode of this show, but I dont , so i am sooo sad :(

It goes right back to networks pulling the plug on decent shows......
and I have another complaint.....Small Wonder, when it was acquired by FOX from Metromedia was canceled after 4 seasons, but FOX allowed Married With Children to go on for 10 seasons?!
That is a total injustice!!! :livid:

See that's the thing......Small Wonder had decent ratings; better than other syndicated shows during that time, but got canceled so early.
At least, FOX should have been bold enough to allow the spin-off To Good To Be True to go into production.

You've got that right! If it's a good show, one that damn near everyone loves and watches, they'll pull it in a heartbeat.
I remember it didn't last very long, and while I wasn't a big fan or anything, I was sorry to see it dropped. But yeah, I was pretty surprised to see Married With Children go on for that long. They could learn a thing or two from fans, ya know? ohno:

Here's is the oddest trend for networks........one network has to be sleazy, so every other network has to be a copycat.

Yep, true. And like with SciFi (and I know that other networks have been known to do this), they edit a bunch of their shows. *cough* The Incredible Hulk *cough* They'll take out maybe 4 minutes of an episode and toss in commercials every 5-10 minutes, and to top that off, they have those stupid promos running over the ending credits. There's no need to do that crap, no matter how much money they're trying to bring in.

Yeah, and I'm tired of it. Tv, even network tv, used to be really good. Something you could flip on and know that what you were watching was going to be worth watching. Now it's full of 'reality' shows out the wazoo.
Oh, and not to mention all of those informercials. That's what I was talking about when I mentioned USA's NightFlight. It would air every Friday and Saturday between 2 and 5 am I think, and it was awesome. You would've loved it!

I'm complaining and whining about past injustices because I'm frustrated, bored, and tired of what is being shown on the air these days.......
Crimson and Clover 08-20-2003, 01:11 AM Im gonna hate to see Roseanne on Nick@Nite. Its one of my favorite shows and they will probably edit it to hell.

I've been very tempted to do the same thing, because it's ridiculous. I know, and I don't understand why they keep doing that! I mean, I do, but you know what I mean. Give us our shows uncut, is that asking for too much? :(
