that one is the worst one yet. when it comes on i grab the remote and either mute or turn the channel.

They all think we're too stupid to do it by ourselves. Seriously, look at all the commericials that just insult the consumers. That Intuition shaver commericial gets to me. Shows a chick spray cream in her face. Another chick just can't shave her legs standing on one leg at a time. Like what's so complicated about sitting down to shave your legs? What's so complicated about checking the sprayer of the can and make sure it's pointed towards your leg and not your face? I mean, good night nurse, it's just insulting.

Anyone remember the rolly kit, or somthing like that? lol It was like a toolbox that you can roll and unroll and take wherever you want. OMG...one local commercial for a car lot has been running for about 3 years. It has a bunch of fat mechanics singing and dancing to "I'm So Excited." BARF

Some of the original jingles do rawk though. "Shop Saadi's...You're one of kind...Shop Saadi's...And you're looking fine...Shop Saadi's...when you want your clothes to be right! You look your best, when you have been dressed by Saadi's Habadashery" Aww I love that commercial...

Oh and as much as the folks around here hate hick stereotypes, they sure do love to have cajun themes in the commercials for South Louisiana Bank. The building is like five stories high, and they say that everybody knows everybody there.And they have to add that damn annoying "Aiyee!!!!" sound....AAAAAAAHHHHHH *shoots bank and burns masters of the commercials*

I know a couple of people who cannot STAND that commerical for "Ruffle's Ridges" chips where that black and white animated baby rolls it's R's, going "R-r-r-ruffles" have "R-ridges"!

And also, I know someone who hates that commerical that came on a couple of months ago for some cloth-cleaning product, maybe "Tide", where they were doing that "I can do anything better than you", "No I can't", "Yes I can", etc. with some poeple in the background putting stains on clothes. This friend of mine HATES the part at the end where the woman goes, "Yes I caaaaaan!". Says it's just really annoying.

They are soooo annoying. I bet everyone in the area of Birmingham can tell you the number for Goldberg and Associates. Its soooo friggin catchy and annoying. And they are nothing but words on a gold background....ugh.

Okay, we have this other commerical for a company called "Glass Masters" where there is this guy running around, acting like Ernest P. Worrell, with these redneck overalls on....and he's running all hunched over and crap. Its completely stupid....but then at the end he goes up to his grandma (im guessing, even though he looks like a grandpa himself) and goes "At glass masters, what grandma says...grandma does!"


Then there's another glass company commercial that sings "Call the Glass Dr....We'll fix your Pane....." over and over and over....

And there's yet another commerical with a stupid jingle...A pest control company....
"Lookie, lookie, lookie....here comes Cookie! Cook's Pest Control."

And there's one more. The tv station did a parody of the That 70's Show theme, with them all in a car, only it's about this old guy, Bill Bowlen, who does the morning news and a morning show called Good Day Alabama.

Birmingham, AL television market viewer here too. Those Goldberg commercials are annoying!

The Glassmasters aren't so bad, and the FOX6 ones are kind of funny.

What about the Dubba-Dubba twins (two attractive, young blonde girls who are on almost every station-promoting commercial for our local WB affilaiate)? I think they are cute, but what do you think?

Does anyone remember the commercial on channel 3 that was on like 10 years ago... it showed a guy in a helicopter and some song played, i dont remember how it went but it ended with "king of the wild blue skyyyy" it was on all the time when i was about 5 and i sang that song all the time :lol:
