What is up with Thalia? She suddenly comes up in the US? Sorry I use to live in the Dominican Republic and Thalia has been around since i was like 5 along with Shakira and they were both MEGA superstars around the world except here......I saw Thalia's new videol....God I cringed she use to be a pretty good spanish singer...and her videos were always pretty decent. Shakira use to be one of my favorite singers....."pies descalsos" was one of my favorite cds when i was like 7 and keep in mind that i'm 16 so that was like 9 years ago....but it's weird they completely transformed themselves...or let me use a current term "sold out"...

I put Angelina Jolie cause I see that a lot of people here don't really like her. But I have no problem with her. Thatlia just gets on my nerves. On her website she has "Im in competetion with Mariah Carey." Which is so stupid. Cause there is no way she will ever beat Mariah. :lol: That is cool that you are from Dominican Republic... My husband's family is from there too. :D I love Shakira too.

yes i was...and i'm probably the only Dominican aside from my family with light brown-blondish hair, fair skin, and green eyes....lol oh yea and a french last name....lol? I moved to the US when I was 10, and patriot: LOVE THE US patriot: ever since!! My heritage is very weird...I am half..no like 3/4 spanish, then lebanese and french....lol i don't know....

Nah... she's not weird. The tabloids have spiced that up a LOT. If you watch the interview of her with Barbara Walters, you'll see that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so to speak.
