1) You can purchase Columbia House videos from their company. They have a Greatest Video Hits club, where the first video is only $4.95, and every video after is $19.95. You will be sent each video with a trial, so if you are not satisfied, then you can return the video for a refund.

2) You cannot buy Columbia House videos (or music) anywhere but from their company.
Go to their website at http://www.columbiahouse.com ,
use the form that comes in your Sunday paper,
or call them for more information.

3) And something that really concerns me ...

If you're like me, and have a DVD player at home, then you're probably wondering just how much their DVD's cost, because we know that each VHS is $19.95.
Well, their DVD's range from
$19.95 - $39.95, so, their DVD's could be $19.95 (if we're lucky), or they could be even more. But, I personally think, that they won't sell the DVD's for more than that, because it seems like they would sell DVD sets for more.

4) Remember, you have to pay shipping and handling !

I'd like to clear up a few things that are not entirely accurate regarding Columbia House that I've seen posted throughout this message board. Let me also mention that I work for CH and the information below is 100% accurate.

Some of our series start the first video at $.89 with each additional volume at $14.95 - $19.95. You can have as many as five accounts as long as all of them are in good standing.

There is a 10-day viewing period to watch each tape and decide to return it with a postage paid mailing label provided by us.

Our DVD series range from $19.95 - $24.95. We currently offer 15 series on DVD with plans to add more, like I Love Lucy.

You can be sent a listing of what is offered in every series we carry. If you do not wish to have a particular tape sent to you, let us know and we can cancel it before it's sent.

We currently offer over 200 series and we add 8 - 15 TV shows per month.

Facts of Life is still coming at the end of February and Diff'rent Strokes tapes are selling out.

For more information call toll-free at 1-800-457-0866 or visit the website at www.columbiahouse.com (http://www.columbiahouse.com)

Purple eyes, I know this might not be the time or place but I don't have your email address. Would it be possible to find out about employment through you?

I have a college degree and I'm a hard worker. Would you please email me at booklover2@hotmail.com?

Thank you,
Amy

But does anyone know if they'll release the whole series or only a couple of volumes?

Purple_Eyes -

I went to columbiahouse.com, and it didn't have Dif'frent Strokes listed. Do you know how much "The Facts of Life" will be on DVD or VHS ?
