View Full Version : Why is my computer giving different times? ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-12-2003, 09:35 AM On SO, it says one time on the main page, and a different in the post... why? Truth 08-12-2003, 09:38 AM Theres a setting in your preferences to change it.... ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-12-2003, 09:38 AM And then..... Something I just noticed. It says 04:42 am.. usually it wouldnt add the 0 in front.. And yes, I have all my settings set Eastern Time Zone. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-12-2003, 09:41 AM Originally posted by ¤MsConanOBrien¤ Something I just noticed. Noticed it yesterday. Truth 08-12-2003, 09:43 AM It adds a zero for me.... ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-12-2003, 09:48 AM I think its because the threads it does that to me.... are polls. :o My God, Ive made like 743789738273829 computer problem threads since yesterday. :bonk: PZelda 08-12-2003, 09:00 PM Originally posted by ¤MsConanOBrien¤ I think its because the threads it does that to me.... are polls. :o My God, Ive made like 743789738273829 computer problem threads since yesterday. :bonk:  It's alright, Crystal. August seems to be the peak month for problems, it seems.  Brian 08-12-2003, 09:07 PM If someone votes in the poll, the time will change according to the time someone votes. Like if someone votes on a poll at 7:35, the poll will bump up and the last person's post will change to the time that the person votes (this applies only to the "last post by such and such.") I hope it's not confusing but it's the best I can do. TJL 08-12-2003, 09:16 PM My God! We're all travelling back and forth in time!!! ;) ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 08-12-2003, 11:13 PM Originally posted by PZelda: VICKI!! It's alright, Crystal.
