I just got a little news about Barbara Billingsley and her family that I thought everyone would be interested in. The news came from a gentleman who has recently visited Los Angeles. This is what he said:

Before my trip to LA I did a little research and wanted to visit one of the Billingsley steak houses (Barbara's sons own 2 of them ) I enjoyed dinner at the Van Nuys restaurant...Drew owns this one, I did not see him, but I asked the cashier/hostess about Barbara, and she said she is very nice she visit's the Van Nuys restaurant only a couple of times each year, but she visits the other restaurant in West Los Angeles quite frequently. I didn't have
directions to that restaurant, or I would have visited that one also. The cashier said that Barbara's other son owns the one in west Los Angeles.

Everytime I hear any report about Barbara the words "very nice" are a part of the description. I just know she is a lovely lady.

This gentleman had taken the Universal Studios backlot tour, but he said he didn't get to see the LITB house because that section was closed. He thinks maybe they were filming the Old Navy commercial that is a take-off on LITB.

wow! i read in Frank Bank's book that thier dad, Glenn Billingsley, owned a chain of Golden Bull restaurants, must run in the family!
