Six years ago, the JON BENET RAMSEY murder case focused the media on the business of child beauty pageants. So was there any fallout? And did the scrutiny the pageant world endured have any impact?
What do you guys think of this...

I can't remember that case- but how exactly were beauty pageants involved?

Jon Benet Ramsey was a beautiful 6 year old girl from Colorado who was found murdered in her home the day after Christmas in 1996. She had been involved in child beauty pageants. Her murder gained national attention and brought a lot of attention to child beauty pageants and whether they are benificial to children or just do more harm than good. I don't feel her murder had anything to do with these beauty contests. I feel as well as much of the nation that her parents had something to do with her murder.

I don't understand how beauty pageants have anything to do with her death, but that's just me.

She was a beautiful little beauty queen who was murdered. It is a very sad story. It hasn't been confirmed why she was murdered but I could be cause of her pagent status.
