what school year did u have your favorite teacher in?

i'd hafta say so far, my favorite teacher was my 9th grade science teacher, Mr. Serino

I had my fav teacher in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. He was great, he let me do anything I wanted just because I have the same name as his mother (and we have the same political views)

I have two, my 5th grade teacher and my 8th grade earth science teacher

I guess my fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Grow, and I had a lot in common. She always said to me she was a lot like me when she was my age, and that we would of made great friends...she knew this because we wrote journals. We were both into writing, she would always say how good I was and that I should become an author someday. They was just so many great things she did for our class and stuff...we had penpals from Washington because she knew a teacher from there (unfortunately, we were only able to keep in touch for about a year after 5th grade was over...she stopped writing) but back to the topic lol. We had our own mailboxed in the class, pretty cool for a 5th grader I guess, where you got all your paper's from, and we got points for being good and stuff, and we had auctions every month (she bought stuff and we auctioned off our points) Her whole way of teaching was just really good. And I don't know...that was really just my overall favorite year, and she's my favorite teacher. I miss her :( I havn't seen her when I go back to the elemtary school because she retired a year after I left...she's not old, she just retired early because of health problems I guess :(

My 8th grade science teacher Mr. Franco was pretty awesome too. He was too nice actually lol. If the class started acting up, he wouldn't TELL them to stop, he'd just say something like, "Ya know, class, I um...could you quiet down a little? I'd really appreciate it." Something like that lol. He was a great teacher,too. Everyone liked him. My mom even had him too lol. I'm gonna miss him, all the stuff he taught was interesting and it was probably my favorite class. He wasn't the teacher to make you nervous and always gave you second chances. Really nice guy. :)

My best teacher was my 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Davenport. She was just awesome. She called all of her students her "little cherubs." :)

My 8th and 10th grade Spanish teacher, Mrs.Grossmann. I've talked about her on the boards many times, so I'm sure some people know the story with her. But I met her about 3 years ago and somehow we ended up getting really close by the end of 8th grade. And then i went up to the high school so I didnt see her for like a year and then she came up to the high school and she ended up being my 10th grade Spanish teacher. Shes really nice and cool and stuff. I really admire her for the kind of person that she is. And I enjoy being with her, shes fun to talk to and she listens to what you have to say and she just cool. So yeah...Mrs.G was the best teacher I've ever had.

10th grade World History- Mr.Leary. The next year later he became Assistant Principal. I told him he should go back to teaching.

Other favorites:
11th (and 11th grade Consitutional Law) grade US History- Mr.Goddu (He looked like Ned Flanders from The Simpsons)
11th grade law- Mr. Hanscome
8th grade Social Studies- Mrs. Raleigh
9th grade Spanish- Srta. Martel
11th & 12th grade Spanish- Sr. Mullinex
11th grade English- Mr.Smith
12th grade English- Mr.Phalen
10th grade Biology- Mr.Lewis

Most of them are social studies teachers.

Mrs. White- the MG teacher I had from sixth to eighth grade
Madame Carlini- my french teacher from ninth through this year (12th)
Both were so awesome- I'd spend hours talking to them during study halls, resource room, and after school about absolutely everything.

Mrs. Oblinger, my sixth grade English teacher. She was really nice and funny and she loved her students. (With a class like ours, that was really hard to do, lol)

My 5th grade History teacher, who was the funniest and most down to earth teacher I ever had. If we had a problem, we could always count on him to help us out, and he never treated us like were just "kids".

My grade 9 math teahcer was awesome. He was really good at teaching it, but every day he had a story about something that took 20 minutes to tell. He always joked around, we talked hockey a lot and I could talk back to him which was fun. Just no swearing. Awesome class though.:cool: :cool:

11th grade - geography and english

Well, right before I started my 10th grade year, this new teacher came into town... Miss Jacobs... mid 30s, great body. Well, after some "will they/won't they" tension, we finally...

Oh, wait, I'm confusing my life with the first season of Dawson's Creek again. Sorry. :D

This year was rough. All my teachers were like skater haters. My chem teacher Mr. Duncan was like the only one who thought skating was cool. I even set up a board for his kid. He was just real nice and cool to talk to. He even said "Skateboarding is Not A Crime".

Mrs. Schoeberlein. I had her in 6th grade for Math and Reading. She was younger, in her late 20's early 30's and really understood kids. I remember dreading going on to 7th grade because I wouldn't have her for a teacher again.

Ms. Blackford was my other favorite. I had her for a couple months in 4th grade and then for some reason they switched her to another class and we ended up getting a teacher I didn't particularly care for. I liked her because she was one of the few teachers who acknowledged my artistic talents. Art was about the only thing I was really good at in school and she recognised that and made sure the other students did too. I didn't get very many compliments in school so the compliments she gave me have stayed with me for the past 20 years. I doubt she has any idea of the affect she had on me.

Mrs. Mielke, my 8th grade English teacher. She is one of the nicest, sweetest people I have ever met. I'm still really close with her and can tell her anything. I'm already planning on asking her to stand up in my wedding.

:thumbsup: How cool is that? I'm still really close to mine, too, and mine is one of the nicest and sweetest people around...She's also really pretty, too. I had a picture I posted in the Pics thread not too long ago - it's on the 41st page. I'm the one in the middle and she's the one in yellow. :)

I have a bunch of pictures of me with people that I want to post on here, my best teacher being one of them, but as I've been complaining about for months now, my scanner doesn't work. I keep telling my dad and brother, the only people in the house who know how to do something about it and it seems like they aren't listening. :mad:

7th- Mr. O'Shea, Mr. Colon, Miss Collins, Miss Herbert, Miss Rodriguez, Mr. Nyguen, and Mr. Hohl.

8th- Mr. Rivest, Mrs. Magdycz, Mr. O'Byrne, Miss Rodriuez, Miss Collins, Mrs. Hagopian, Mrs. McNulty, and Mr. Santos.

Then of course there's other people who aren't really teachers, or they're teachers and I didn't have them, but I became good friends with them.. Mrs. Bartley, Miss Lynn, Mr. Deane, Ms. Potyrala, Mr. Mazza, he's a mediator, Miss D, she's the principal,.. mm hmm.

:lol: It's actually Mr. Colón. I just forgot to put the little accent mark above the O. So it's not pronounced the way you think it is :lol:

My best teacher was my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. (say it with me now) Vauquelin. Pronounced: vo-qui-lin. She was so skinny though. She was kinda scary. Then there was my first grade teacher Ms. Pam. Then second grade teacher Ms. Carter. I won't even mention my third grade teacher....or my fourth.....or any of my fifth grade teachers....OR any of my sixth grade teachers. This year, I liked my math teacher Ms. Fremin.

Mrs. Hensley-- my senior english teacher
