Does anyone remember this episode? Barbara Bel Geddes kills her husband by hitting him over the head with a leg of lamb and then serves the "murder weapon" to the cops who are sent to her house to investigate the murder.
No, I don't recall ever seeing that one. Sounds like a wild plot though. ;)

Great episode & easily in my top 10, I believe this was also one of the few episodes directed by Hitchcock himself.

Here, Here.
Sounds like a plot for a real twisted movie.

I remembered loving this show and am going to jump all over the DVD release. Lamb to the slaughter is the only one I remember in clear detail, besides the man being suspected of killing his wife and then finally doing it a tthe end. Clever stuff!

Her husband was played by Allan 'Rocky' Lane who had a long career in westerns but is probably best remembered as the voice of Mr. Ed.

Yes, I actually acquired it off Ebay a few weeks ago. It was on a VHS volume with "The Case of Mr. Pelham" and "Banquo's Chair". It's an out of print release I believe, and I think Ebay is the only way to get it for now. Hopefully "Lamb to the Slaughter" will eventually find it's way on DVD if and when the complete third season comes around
