I just checked our petition situation, and we have 250 signatures...some of them have been added recently, because they refer to NICK'S "Viewer Appreciation Summer".

I was wondering if ANYONE ever received ANY kind of response from NICK regarding the late scheduling of WINGS?

I doubt that anything will change, especially with NICK set to move WINGS to 3:30 AM in September, but I just thought that I would check in and ask....

I hadn't really thought about this for a while...I have been videotaping the show nightly and watching it later, but I think watching these early episodes again has stirred something up in me....

I realize what a truly GREAT series WINGS was in it's best years (and even "not-so-best" years), and I'm getting nostalgic for the time when I could enjoy double episodes at 11 PM EST....these early episodes (which originally aired on NICK in that "2 episodes at 11" time slot) are reminding me of that happier time.

Well for me I have to Tivo them and watch later no matter what time Nick shows them so their schedule doesn't really bother me as much as others. Although I got to admit I wish the VA thing was still happening. They were showing 10 eps a week now it's 7, and I'd really like to get all of them taped ASAP before Nick goes psycho with the schedule yet again and completely removes Wings from their lineup.

I know exactly what you mean...This time around I'm taping each episode, hoping to get every one taped in it's proper order (plus during the last cycle NICK skipped a bunch of 2nd season episodes...including the ones where Helen leaves for NYC and the Hackett brothers eventually get her to return to Nantucket...yeah, not TOO important!).....and while I'm taping these shows, I'm REALLY on pins and needles, worrying that NICK is going to pull the plug on "WINGS" before the series ends! Let's hope not!
