Atlanta has no defense. Small Wonderian 08-08-2003, 09:53 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer Atlanta has no defense. Yeah, but they have more than enough offense. They could have beaten Philadelphia and Tampa Bay last year. Mr. Television 08-08-2003, 09:54 PM I was for Oakland in the Superbowl last year. That was a mistake. The Eagles had one heck of a defense last year until they faced the Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game. Their defense also sucked against Indianapolis in which they got whupped 35-13. Strider31 08-08-2003, 10:01 PM The Packers will make it this year. Small Wonderian 08-08-2003, 10:03 PM Originally posted by Strider31 The Packers will make it this year. Eagles lost too many people in the offseason. Especially on defense wizard12 08-10-2003, 01:29 AM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer Eagles lost too many people in the offseason. Especially on defense They still have a great offense. What about Atlanta and Green bay, why won't they be there? They are both great teams with a great QB. What great offense do the Eagles have? why were there only 10 points scored in the NFC Championship? Brian Damage 08-10-2003, 01:37 PM Solomon, I know you hate the Eagles, but be realistic, your picks are never right anyway. TVFactFan 08-10-2003, 01:42 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage Solomon, I know you hate the Eagles, but be realistic, your picks are never right anyway. But i'm confused that the Eagles are being picked to go to the Superbowl. I thought that the Eagles didn't score more than 30 in Two NFC playoffs games was evident enough that they are not a Superbowl team. Brian Damage 08-10-2003, 02:01 PM That's the beauty of football, you don't know who's a Super bowl team until the season winds down. bandito 08-10-2003, 02:07 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer Brett Farve is not a RELIABLE QB Oh, another reliable QB is A.J. Feeley. It's a shame he has to sit on the bench behind McNabb. TVFactFan 08-10-2003, 02:20 PM Originally posted by bandito Oh, another reliable QB is A.J. Feeley. It's a shame he has to sit on the bench behind McNabb. When, A.J Feeley took over as QB, the Eagles played 4 losing teams and one winning team. And the winning team they played was the Giants and they lost. So Feeley did what the Eagles told him to do which was dON"T LOSE THE GAME Brian 08-10-2003, 07:58 PM 1 team that will make the playoffs: The San Diego Chargers :p TVFactFan 08-10-2003, 08:03 PM Originally posted by Brian 1 team that will make the playoffs: The San Diego Chargers :p Who do the chargers hAVE???? TVFactFan 08-18-2003, 06:10 PM Originally posted by Love, Lucy My money will always be on Tampa Bay :D. I wouldn't money on Tampa Bay because of their QB. I just feel they need to replace him because he is too inconsistent. Brian Damage 08-18-2003, 08:01 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer I wouldn't money on Tampa Bay because of their QB. I agree about Brad Johnson, but their team is based on defense and a great defensive team will beat a great offensive team any day of the week. TVFactFan 08-18-2003, 08:05 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage I agree about Brad Johnson, but their team is based on defense and a great defensive team will beat a great offensive team any day of the week. But you still need a good QB to compliment the great defense which can make a team Dominate the league. So the Bucs still are not a well balance team Brian Damage 08-18-2003, 08:22 PM A great QB is not needed...look at the Bucs last year. TVFactFan 08-18-2003, 08:27 PM Originally posted by Brian Damage A great QB is not needed...look at the Bucs last year. But you don't want to constantly depend on the defense Small Wonderian 08-18-2003, 09:33 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer But you don't want to constantly depend on the defense Exactly. Look at the Redskins.....they were 5th in the NFL on defense but 20th in offense. :( |
