Why was the Happy Days theme song much different the last season? I'm not saying that the change wasn't good or anything...

Guess they just wanted a bit of a change for the last season, I liked it myself.

offtopic: All right, I realize that this is off topic, but I was wondering where you got that picture of Ted McGinley from the opening credits"It sounds like you're keeping a secret from The Fonz. That makes me feel like you're not a true friend" ~Fonzie

He took it himself, He has this thing called a snappy where he can take pictures off the TV.

While I like both songs, I think that Happy Days was a better theme song for Happy Days. This might seem cliche, but if you look at most other shows, the theme song usually (but not always) has the show title in it. As for which version I like better, I'm not sure. I really haven't seen that many Happy Days episodes (I just realized that I first started watching Happy Days in 2001/2002). What would you have thought if for the last season instead of using a different version of Happy Days, they had used Blueberry Hill? I mean, it had become Richie's theme song (pratically). Or how about Who Wrote the Book of Love? My sister and I counted three episodes that have song in it (one being the one where Potsie and Fonzie are singing it)

Well, by the end of the 10th season, a theme song change to "Blueberry Hill" wouldn't make any sense because Richie was long gone, and that song was a mid-late '50s hit instead of a mid '60s hit. The change probably went with the update of graphics & songs in 1984 (when season 11 aired). Also, the other was getting a bit old.
