okay what do u guys think is the most "emotional" episode out of all of em!

Yeah, 'Less than Perfect' was definetely a tear jerker(oh I hate using that phrase).
But, I would have to say 'Sweet Sorrow'(Jo cried buckets!). 'Teacher's Pet' was also an emotional one. But I always say that about that episode.
The end of 'Graduation' was sad too, (the only episode I could say I 'cried' at,pathetic I know.) I bet it was because it had a better 'last episode' feel than that horrible series finale.

The ones you've mentioned are definitely dramatic and are good choices. But I think a case can be made for the last three minutes of "Rights of Passage II."

That's the one where Jo leaves for California. There's not a whole lot of dialog, but the actresses are so good that they don't need it. It's realistic and leads you to think that things are never going to be the same again.

What about when Nat's father dies? That was pretty emotional. And I agree with whoever mentioned the one where Jo leaves for California.

Out of the episode I have seen the one that still sticks out in my mind is "Where's Poppa". Actually, I think it might be safe to go out on a limb and say it's my favorite. Ofcourse I've yet to see all the ones mentioned above, and all of season3. "Where's Poppa" is the first FULL episode I saw though and it just sticks with me. Seeing Jo reach out to Blair like that just gets me http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

whens "where's poppa" on and what is it about? just curious.

It's the best http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif I think it is from season 6, but I'm not completely sure. This is what I remember of it, and I'll try to clarify it because sometimes I have trouble with that! Here goes:

Blair's father donates a large amount of money to LANGLEY or either EASTLAND, not sure which, for an entertainment building. He is going to give the opening speech and Tootie will also be in a play that night. The building is sorta like a broadway theater. Anyway, Blair is real busy planning and such until she finds out her father has been inditeted for doing illegal activities. I think it had to do with stocks or something like that. Anyway, Blair doesn't want to believe it at first, but is forced to once her father confirms it and is actually put in jail. He also won't be able to give that speech and wants Blair to do it for him, but she rejects and is extremely angry at him. Everyone, except Jo, goes around making a huge deal of it and doing their best to comfort her. She ignores everyone though. ...Time comes where it's time to go to the play that Tootie is in, AND the ceremony Blair's dad is SUPPOSED to be at, but Blair doesn't go. She is too embarrassed but wants everyone else to go and have a good time. Well, Ms. G, Nat, and Tootie all go out to the car, but Jo claims she forgot something and runs back in. Instead of forgetting something she is actually going in to talk to Blair. The scene was one of the absolute best IMO. Blair is sitting there saying to Jo she doesn't want her help or advice. It's really hard to explain, but here's a few lines that I remember very well:

Blair: Your dad was put in jail and had problems. How did you get over it?

Jo: Who says I did?

Blair: But you moved on.

Jo: Exactly, and so will you.


I LOVED that scene! Of course it isn't word for word, but it's great! It won't be on for a while, but I can't wait to see it. I didn't tape it last time considering it was the first full episode I'd ever seen, but this time around you better believe I'll tape it http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

when blair looked in the mirror and removed her bandage after she got into the car accident in "Less than perfect". i was hard to look at blair at that point tears came out of my eyes.

I would have to say The Affair is the most emontional eposide. I only remember bits and pieces of it. But I do remember Mindy Cohn gave a wonderful performance at the end when she had to confront her dad.

I think 'Where's Poppa' was from Season #8. Anyway, I agree it was definitely great.

I'll also agree with the episode where Jo goes to California(Season #8), Jo and Blair graduate Langley(Season #8), and the ep where Blair gets into the accident(Season#8).
I was also touched by the episode in season #2 where Jo is reunited with her Father. So far all of the Season #3 episodes have been great with alot of the classic FOL lines found in Season 2 and 3.

As far as a depressive state- Less than Perfect. That was actually saddening.

AS far as making me angry, The one where Rick & Jo get married. I think the title of that was "'Til Marriage Do Us Part" Anyway, that one made me very angry. I don't like Rick..

AS for overall most entertaining, I liked "Take My Finals, Please".

Yes, "Where's Poppa?" was from season 8. I wanted to make a correction though. "Less Than Perfect" was actually from season 9. That episode aired close to the end of the series.

I think either "Less Than Perfect" or the one where Nat's father dies are the ost emotional.

"Breaking Point" Takes the cake. I saw the episode when Blair got into the accident when it first ran on NBC, and then on USA, but breaking point to me is the most emotional episode. Cynthia killing herself with those pills. Tootie running downstairs telling everyone that she found an empty bottle of pills next to Cynthia's bed-that was something. Then when Mrs. Garrett said she was dead, that just stunned me.

the only episode i actually cried in was "sweet sorrow" (sort of the same thing happened to me) and jo and blair's graduation episodes.
