View Full Version : New Fans On The Block
pilotguy 08-08-2003, 02:16 AM I'm noticing some new people posting here on the message board....Welcome to all of you!
Most of these new posters are mentioning how they have recently become "Wings" fans.....which goes to show that even NICK's late broadcast hour can't keep this great series down... The fan base just keeps growing and growing!

Why do I have this horrible mental image of a bunch of vampires sitting around a TV set in the middle of the night, pointing to the TV saying (in a thick Bela Lugosi-style accent), "I tell you, that Antonio really cracks me up!".
DianeChambers87 08-08-2003, 10:08 AM I saw the first episode and have seen a couple more since it's summer and I can sleep in. I like it it's a funny show
Krista2882 08-08-2003, 01:35 PM yea, I noticed in the past week there are a couple of new people here. Welcome, everyone! :D

Hey, welcome!
I just wanted to tell you that I also like Happy Days. When I was in high school it used to come on several channels in the afternoon. I had it timed just right so that I could watch Happy Days 4 times a day!
What's so goofy is right now the funniest thing I remember is unbelievably a Chachi episode!! Remember the Incredo-wax one? When Richie & Lori Beth were playing cards with Mr. & Mrs. C, when Richie stood up and said, "When I walk with my chair like this, it means I have spades." :rotflmao:
Man, that was funny!
After my 4 doses of Happy Days I would watch The Andy Griffith Show, then the Carol Burnett Show... ahhhh the good old days.
Love,
Wing<><

Yeah :rotflmao: Incredo Wax is a great episode, Remember Potsies hair? LOL!
Theirs also a small Happy Days-Wings connection as Crystal Bernard was in Season 10 of Happy Days as K.C. Cunningham.

The "Happy Days" episodes with K.C. Cunningham are generally considered to be the true LOW point of the series, and the WORST episodes....Richie and Ralph were gone, Fonzie and Potsie were getting long in the tooth, Roger wasn't making much of an impact, and now Joanie and Chachi were gone and replaced by K.C. and Flip (actually having Chachi gone was a definite "plus" for ME, but we won't get into THAT).....
...but even though the "K.C." batch of shows are usually trashed by viewers, I personally found young Crystal Bernard cute and vivacious, and I actually LIKED the character of K.C. I thought that she brought a lot of life back into the show...and this was YEARS before I became a "Wings" fan!

OOOPS...It's "Eat Crow" time here on the message board! After I posted my previous message I noticed that Chad Doody has "Scott Baio Fan" posted by Scott's photo!
Sorry, I didn't mean to offend....I guess that now I'll have to give Chad some "Frequent Flyer" miles on Sandpiper Airlines!
