Everybody,

I got the information! I just spoke to Columbia House, and they said "The Only Thing We Need Yet, Is The Copyrights to the Facts Of Life, then after that we'll get started on making the videos, then very soon after that, they're avaible to the public!" So Everybody, Columbia House IS relesing The Facts of Life ina few monthes! So keep flooding in those e-mails & calls for The Facts of Life, IF they get enought demand not only will they relese the series, THEY WILL RELESE EVERY EPISODE MADE, if they get enought calls & emails for all the episodes! So keep calling them and remember CH is relesing FOL in a few months, by spring they'll be avaible!!!

OK, that's cool and all about Columbia House, but I'm curious. Has anyone ever purchased a video/videos from them? How expensive are we talking about? Do they normally put several episodes on a tape, or just a couple. It would be great for them to have all the episodes on tape, original and uncut... But, if a tape is $20.00, and there are only 4 on a tape, that makes the total... well, too much for my brain on a Friday night.

jayman75,
I was doing the same thing! I figured, if they can squeeze 5 episodes on one tape, at $15 a pop (if we're lucky) the grand total comes to $630! see, i think our best bet is to tape as many as we can off of N@N and only buy the episodes we didn't tape, you know?
~~Oh, I forgot to mention...I emailed Columbia House with all the neccessary questions. I'll post a message if I get a reply!~~

Well if it is anything like the way it works with the rest of the tapes, I believe it will be $4.95 for the first tape, $19.95 for each tape after that. Also you get four episodes on a tape.

Natalie (thinking): I am going to nail her mouth to the floor. I can picture it now there'd be a spike through her tongue, but the lips would still be moving. She'd just keep whining on and on about how she'd never do that to me because she's my best friend. And if it made me feel guilty about nailing her mouth to the floor than she's glad I did it and......

Well if I remember correctly (I have never bought one of their series, I am just going by what I remember reading) you don't pay it all at once... I think you get billed for it monthly... don't get me wrong, I am not at all saying that this makes it cheap! It will definitely be awhile before I buy them. I just graduated college...

One more thing. I believe I remember reading that you can't pick and choose which episodes you want, I think when you join the club to get that series, you start at the beginning of the series and collect them in order. You are also able to cancel whenever you want and still keep the tapes you have. Somebody please feel free to correct me if I am wrong about this... I am only going by what I think I remember reading.

(I am the original poster):

My Mother buys them, she's great isn't she? She just puts them on her charge. I have Laverne and Shirley and All In The Family video collections from CH. They're great and easy! Trust me, you will be pleased with their videos!!!
