i don't think his hair's that bad. i liked his old hair cut better, but the new one's not horrible

Well, JJ joined the legions of the jarheads (aka the Marine Corps; the nickname should be indicative of the haircut), so Will probably had to get rid of whatever hair he could spare. It doesn't look so bad. Maybe it'll grow on you; and it'll certainly grow on him, eventually. ;)
