Being from Green Bay myself and having met and talked with Brett several times, I feel I need to defend him here. I would like to know what your basis behind that statement is? He is a three-time NFL MVP. He is tied with only one other person (dont recall who it is) to have done that three years in a row. He has been in the league 13 years, won a Super Bowl ring, and is paid MILLIONS of dollars a year. If he really was a wussy quarterback, he would not have accomplished all of that, plus be enough of a fan favorite to appear on soda machines, soda cans, t-shirts, have 2 VERY successful restaurants, and be the subject of hundreds of websites.

And, as I type this, his team is winning against the Atlanta Falcons. They were down 21 - 3 only 25 playtime minutes ago. Now they are ahead, 27-21.

Brett Favre is awesome.

GO PACKERS!!!
:D  :) :happyface

I wish my team[ The Dallas Cowboys] had him. As I'm typing this they are losing to the Arizona Cardinals and all their qbs are awful.:crying:

I have to disagree with you Bandito and Brian, yeah Dante had a bad year last year, but in the first pre-season game he was pretty good, he just has to get used to new offensive coordinator Scott Lineahan (sp) Minnesota has only one good reciever in Randy Moss, and D'Wayne Bates is going to be a solid recieevr but other then that they don't have much hopefully Kelly Campbell and Nate Burleson will develop. I don't think Brett Farve would do good as Minnesota's QB for one he can't win in the metradome. Minnesota looked good comming inot the season, but now I'm not sure, because of injuries and suspenision, so there will be lots of pressure on Dante this year. Just my thoughts, thats why the paly the game.
