Ahhhh!!!

I was at my dad's house for two weeks (out of town), and for all my autograph picture requests I sent out, I asked them to send it to my address at my mom's house. I just got back to my mom's today, and I got my autographed picture of Rue McClanahan!! (I haven't scanned it in yet, look for it in the next post a bit later) OMG!! But then came the best part I was saving for last. At about the same time I sent out a request to Rue, I also sent out a letter and a picture of me with Vicki together to send to Vicki...Guess what, that one also came, as well!! I just about died because I thought she was just going to sign "Vicki Lawrence" on it, but she didn't. I am TOTALLY framing it as soon as I can get a frame for it. :D Here's the pic I had her autograph for me!

Edit: The letter she sent along with my picture wasn't anything major, it was just apologizing for not sending the original autographed picture earlier (the color 8 x 10 I got back in July and posted about) because they put the wrong address on it. Still, though, it's a letter, and I'm SO excited! :D

And here's the picture of Rue - very cool. I think she looks a LOT like Hillary Clinton in this picture, though. What do you guys think? :lol:

Congratulations on getting those autographs and the letter from Vicki! It's always awesome when a celebrity takes the time to write a letter! I think that Rue pic was from her Intimate Portrait. She's been sending that one for a while. It is a great pic though!

As for the Rue one, I was thinking that, too. I occasionally visit theruecrew.com and the lady that runs that site there says that pic is circa 2000 or so. So, I'm not really surprised I got this one. :)

This is funny - I was showing someone my Rue picture over MSN, and she said that Rue also looks a bit like Barbara Walters in that picture, as well! (And I agree!) So now when I look at Rue's pic, I think of Hillary and Barbara instead. :D

Good God!! I never would have equaled Rue w/ either of those two howler monkeys! Lol!

This letter isn't signed, but I am 98% positive it's her writing, because the :heart: gives it away. Plus, if it was by a secretary or something, it would have been typed, and this is definitely female handwriting. You guys decide.

Thanks! :D Yeah, I think so, too. If Vicki ever comes to anybody's areas here, I definitely suggest you try to get out to meet her - she is so incredibly sweet and nice. It was totally mind-blowing meeting her. Ohhh, and I LOVE the shirt she has in that pic - I don't know what material it is, but it was kinda like velvet...really soft! Darn, now I wish I had her shirt. :lol:

Sigh....I'm getting all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. :D
