For some reason, Charlie always seemed to be hooked up with some attractive (and super young) woman. The woman that played Shayeeda in "The Outsider" wasn't super young, but she was quite a bit younger than Howard Hesseman. Charlie also hooked up with Melissa Finch in "Play it Again, Woody," and she looked younger than half of Charlie's students. There was no romantic connection in the Moscow eps, but Charlie developed a relationship with a young teacher. And I heard in one ep he hooks up with a lingerie model...who I assume is also super-young, as well. Also, there are also scenes with improvised conversations where Charlie and Simone are walking and talking through the halls...which reminds me of "Love at First Byte." When Charlie suspected Simone of writing him love letters, they're giving each other eye contact during Alan's speech which I think is too "sexy" and inappropriate for a teacher and his student. I liked Charlie and Bernadette together...Bernadette is not old, but she is more age-appropriate for him, and she has a fun, upbeat personality...don't you all agree?

Bernadette was the secretary right? Yeah, I don't ever remember Charlie and Bernadette ever hinting about getting together. However, Billy, who took over after Charlie left, sure did! He was always after Bernadette and she really liked him too!

Bernadette is actually Assistant Principal. But with all that menial crap she had to do...I'm not surprised that she'd be mistaken as a secretary!

Interesting, I knew she worked very closely with Dr. Samuels, that great guy I really like! :)
