I didn't really care for their interracial relationship on the show. What was Denise's name on the show? She was a attorney right?

Her name was Harriet DeLong. She was a councilwoman. The interracial thing didn't bother me.

Their relationship was a little ironic because Carroll O'Connor played bigot Archie Bunker for so long, and on this show his character was involved in an interracial relationship.

I thought she did a real good job on the show.Sometimes they were very funny together.

She was a very attractive woman. As long as someone's hot, it doesn't matter what race they are to me.;)

I liked their relationship. It is ironic.

I didn't mind their relationship at all either. And it does feel ironic, even though Archie Bunker during Archie Bunker's Place had started softening his stance up quite a bit later on.

Did they ever actually consummate their interracial relationship on screen? (have sex, that is)

I really don't know. I think that it was implied but never overtly mentioned.

Well they did finally get married so it was implied.

I agree. Looks like WGN America is removing it from their lineup starting Jan 1 to make room for Law & Order reruns. Guess I'm gonna have to order the DVDs now if I wanna go back in time to Sparta

I do have that channel and have seen it on sundays/ Guess I was thinking more in terms of M-F Not sure what, if any, cable channel it would appeal too. Maybe This TV will put it on weekdays at some point.
