She was in a lot of Buffy episodes, and her character was important in the show, she was Buffy's mom. I know she wasn't in season 4 that much, but season 5 was sort of around her and her illness. I think they should have added her in the opening credits. JMO but what do you think?

I could see why she wasn't in 1-4. Yeah, guest apperances aren't exactly appearances in every ep, but yeah, season 5 was an important season for Joyce and she did get a lot of focus in the season, so I think they should've added her, at least added her in season 5.

Season 3 was also important, Joyce found out Buffy was a vampire slayer at the end of season2 and in 3 season she was dealing with it. She should have been added imo.
